Another thing Tristen might have noticed is that Tails hadn't come up for air. A little more than an a feet deep, Tails lay quiet, but not still. He stretched. It really had been too long. With any luck, Tristen would let his guard down, too.

It really had been too long. With any luck, Tristen would let his guard down, too. It didn't occur to Tristen until Tails wasn't coming up. At all. "Tails? Tails!" He shouted. He then started to dig around in the mud, trying to find the fox kid. "TAILS!?" Guard down? Putting it lightly.

Tristen was panicking. His grin unseen, Tails reached above the mud, and his hand emerged with clods dropping off his fingers. Slowly, it moved toward Tristen's face.

As Tristen continued to dig around, he stopped, seeing a bit mud hand come up slowly out of the mud. "Gah!" He quickly fell back then looked at what in the world started to reach out for him. That looked...creepy.

The rest of Tails soon emerged with the hand. "Blaaaarg, I am a zombie," he moaned and though the mud pinned his ears to his head, his voice was very identifiably his, and not dead. He briefly stood, then fell flat onto Tristen.

Tristen was probably finally getting something though. Tails was apparently having all too much fun with this. Something simple probably meant worlds to him. And rather or not it'd be him being feral as he was or not, it really didn't matter. Tails just wanted to play. He probably needed to loosen up as well. "Ok." Tristen said. Tristen grabbed Tails and then turned to get the fox kid back under him. "How do you like that?"

Sub suddenly awoke from his sleep on the couch. The man shot up straight and began to look around, confused. He didn't remember falling asleep last night and what he saw last night persisted to haunt him. "..." He didn't speak, he just stared off into space with a blank stare, what could have spooked him so much?

Nal wandered slowly through the halls of whatever this place was she'd been brought to. She hadn't really been able to get a lot of sleep the night before, mainly due to being in a new place, but also because she was highly curious about all the familiar scents that she'd been finding.
Somewhere in the back of the Eleon's mind, the nagging feeling to seek out that strange bird who'd brought her here wouldn't go away. She supposed she probably should thank him for getting her away from that human, of course a great surge of pride prevented that. Instead, she merely wandered around, investigating. Every so often, she'd stop and scratch at the collar bound around her throat.
While the remote that controlled it was out of range and could no longer force her to do the mayor's bidding, it still bothered her. The confining piece of magicked leather so close to her throat and rubbing away some of her fur. Growling, she scratched at the thing again before resuming her investigation. As soon as she found someone she knew and trusted, she'd get them to figure out how to remove the damn thing.

"Hm? Someone there?" Sub said rising to his feet and observing his surroundings as he heard a noise, but saw not a single person. The qualifying word was person. "Guess not..." He shrugged.

Nal looked around at hearing Sub speak. She hadn't even noticed he was there. Looking around, she finally took notice of Sub standing near a couch. Human, figures. Snorting softly to herself, she proceeded to ignore the human and returned to fiddling with her collar.

Ms Edyn Nal looked around at hearing Sub speak. She hadn't even noticed he was there. Looking around, she finally took notice of Sub standing near a couch. Human, figures. Snorting softly to herself, she proceeded to ignore the human and returned to fiddling with her collar. "Huh? Who are you?" Sub said turning around as he spotted the strange creature out of the corner of his eye, her snorting, however soft, gave away her location. "Wait a minute...are you, a hybrid Pokemon or something?" He said noticing the Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon characteristics. Sub disregarded the oddity for now as he took closer notice of it fiddling with the collar. "Need some help?" He asked approaching.

The moment Sub made a move to approach her, Nal immediately sprang to her feet, 'Not from some human like you.' She wasn't sure if he'd even be able to understand her words, but what she did know was that he should at least be able to understand the clear threat coming from her.

Sub recoiled back a little and stared down at the creature with concern. "I was just trying to help..." He sighed, while he didn't understand her words he did get the idea. "Hehe, apparently she doesn't like humans." Poe said as he shuffled up from behind Sub, maneuvering around him so he stood in-between him and Nal. "So, what's the deal? Hehe..." He said in his native Pokemon speech to Nal.

Nal eyed the ghost carefully for a moment, not sure whether or not she could trust him or his trainer. After a few seconds, though, she decided she could at least answer his question, however she refused to calm her tense muscles, 'I don't trust humans. Simple as that.'

The Sableye grinned Nal, who knows what he found so amusing, though maybe grinning was just a natural thing for him at this point. "Well, what if this human could get that collar off for you? Hehe...you would just be using him for your own ends, right?" He chuckled.
