!!! It appears that some forum sprites have nipped away at the 'line... re-adding the conversion cost now. (B-rank) There's no current upkeep cost, as the manips can become costly in their own right, if used frequently enough. Thank you for bringing this to light~ :3

Thank you for bringing this to light~ :3 And I have one other question if that'd be okay to ask. Edit: This has to do with the eight gates fighting style. It states that the user is able to learn all formless styles and moves, as applicable. Does this mean that they can only learn the same as everyone else? Or am I reading too far into what it says?

Everything on the Formless page can be learned when applied with the Hachimon's regs, if applicable. By 'applicable', we mean that if someone wanted to have a tail be their Formless style, and they don't have a tail, then there's no learning it. (for example) But if you wanted to learn Hard, Soft, Katana, Bombs, Puppetry (not Kugutsu), both Mental styles, and..... pot lid, you could totally use them all, including the silly pot lid formless. By this measure, what's provided as a 'weapon' on the Formless page isn't the end of the list, but the beginning. (the list would be too large to include all of creation on it)

I can't reveal any details past this point in the exams without ruining the suspense, but rest assured the limited time frame and information is taken into account on our end.Odoeb So should we submit this in character or pm? And I really hope if we guess wrong we don't get outed entirely. Considering how limited out time was and having to wait for responses there is only so much info we were able to get so that'd make it seem more like random luck rather then any application of skill or talent. Nice. I'm not really concerned was curious for all of our sake. I aim to become the kage of the sound village one day so wanted to make sure I had my best showing possible. Thanks for the response.

With Hachimon when it says things such as; speed is increased to the next rank and strength above two ranks. Is this speaking about a shinobi's rank? Or descriptive rank? If this is speaking of shinobi's rank is there a thread that explains what a shinobi is able to do dependent on rank?

Shinobi body rank, capping at S+. It's mainly for versus situations, for when say, we have to determine if such a technique overpowers or out maneuvers another.
Jutsu Information thread. This will have such things as 'Genin cannot learn techniques above Rank (B), also known as Stage Four in Bukijutsu and Taijutsu.' If for some reason the title of 'Genin' were taken away, this statement would be void, and one would be considered a civilian. (unless ya go rogue) In saying this, if you were able to thieve Stage Five as a Genin, you'd be able to learn it, but also take an in-rp reaction to it. (whatever the Kage decides) Not that I don't recommend thieving it! XD
Bottom two posts of '1'. The first of the two is based on Titles, which can be given or taken away, while the second is what I was referring to as the 'body rank', or actual physical experience. Anything related to strength, speed, et cetera, will be based around your body's rank. e.g. A C-rank Genin will generally be seen as stronger and faster (for example) than a D-rank Genin. Stamina and Chakra also gain like this, so that C-rank Genin will have more of it than the D-rank. Working around these with techniques can result in lower body ranked folks taking out higher ranked ones.

You may submit an idea at any time, for discussion, review, and so on. This is no promise that a bloodline or clan will be admitted, of course, but it's great to see new ideas! It's only during contests are there extraneous prizes and such.

We've only very recently began updating the styles with different descriptives. It is as you've surmised, taking time in deliberations for some of them. We continue to evolve, ever dancing forward~ :3

Well due to this it seems that taking up other styles over the eight gates is more effective in the long run. Almost like eight gates is a temporary measure for strength. Once more much obliged.
