Lunora nodded and pat Damian's head. "Now go bother your father. I'll get your brother.", she said, going back into the cabin. She went over to her sleeping young prince and smiled softly. The fox mother gently shook the boy, causing him to groan some. "Wake up my little prince." she whispered to him, still shaking him, but not enough to wake Kai. "Mom? What time is it?" "It's still morning. Get ready because we're heading back. You can probably carry your new friend."

Damian turned and looked to his father, shrugged, and started towards a group of his friends who'd just emerged from another cabin. They caught up on what inside jokes the older prince had missed from choosing to bother his brother rather than come to the cabin with his friends.
Demetri helped herd the kids back in the direction of the road to the castle, and smiled a little as some people started piggy back rides, others traded bags to carry lighter or heavier loads, and everyone started yawning.
Kai stirred softly, but didn't wake, only curling towards Hakaru a little more. By now, her hair had dried completely and was back to its short, stringy, washed out brown state.

Lunora smiled some and helped Hakaru pack his things and then Kai's. She took both of their bags as the young prince wrapped Kai up in one of his longer coats and gently picked her up, carrying her outside. The sun was still low and the coat had a hood so it was easy to keep the light from waking Kai.
Lunora helped direct the flow of students, helping a few wake up and get moving.

Demetri shook his head at a few students who clearly were too tired, and smiled a little at the sight of so many of them helping each other along. When Lunora and Hakaru emerged, he raised his eyebrow and smiled widely. He couldn't see her, but he was sure that the girl in his son's arms was none other than the mermaid who had saved him.
Kai stirred only slightly when being picked up, but only to lean further against Hakaru, nuzzling against him. Her fingers came up and tightened into a small fist around a piece of his shirt.
Damian rubbed his eyes a little, watching people stream out. He looked over his shoulder, smiling as he caught sight of Mina, blending into the crowd. Well, not to him. Once someone was on his radar, he always knew where they were. He stayed back a few moments, waiting until he was about in line with her, before fighting through the waves of students to come walk beside her. "Sleep well?" he asked. [OOC:] I had a small idea for another plot twist, if you're interested.

Lunora smiled softly, going to her husband and kissing his cheek before taking his hand and waking with the students.
Hakaru smiled some as Kai only stirred and gripped his shirt. He held her closer to him as he walked, making sure not to walk too bouncily as not to disturb the mermaid.

Demetri laced his fingers with Lunora's glancing over his shoulder at his two sons before looking back over at the line of students. It was a lucky thing that the beach was walking distance from the castle.
Kai's dream was refreshing compared to the either nonexistent dreams or painful reminder dreams that she'd had lately. This one was just sitting on the beach, with Hakaru. She smiled in her sleep. [OOC:] Basically, some humans came to the master and Jethrow during the beach thing, telling them that they have seven days to tell the students what's going on. They tell Jethrow that all magical creatures (basically anyone who's not just a witch or wizard) will be rounded up and "relocated" though that really means tortured/experimented on/killed. Jethrow knows that. All the witches and wizards (who're classified as humans) will be given the chance to "renounce their ways." Anyone who doesn't will be equally "relocated."

Hakaru looked down at Kai as she smiled. It made the young prince smile also and rest his cheek on the top of her head, keeping her close to him as he walked.
[OOC:] Forgot Mina! Sorry!
Mina was walking quietly through the crowd when Damian suddenly found her, having fought his way to her and a few students yelling at him to stop pushing. She smiled a little sleepily. "I slept fine. You?"

Damian shrugged a little. "Hated my wake-up call, but otherwise had a good night. I can't remember my dream for the life of me, though." [OOC:] Cool, so when they get back, Jethrow will grab Luna, Luke, and Demi.

Mina smiled some, shrugging. "That happens. I don't remember mine either if it makes you feel better." the little sparrow chirped sweetly before pulling out a book.
The walk was a short one, them soon getting back to the castle. Lunora made sure everyone was accounted for and got back to their dorms safely. He also helped Hakaru find Kai's dorm and put her to bed. She then left to be with her husband and get some lunch.
Hakaru thanked his mother before she left and tucked Kai into her bed. But he didn't want to leave her there... He glanced around and quietly closed the door before cuddling up with Kai in her bed.

Damian stayed silent throughout the walk, watching Mina read. He thought it was pretty cool that she could just walk and read at the same time, and occasionally he would walk ahead and remove obstacles, like big branches and rocks, so she wouldn't trip.
Kai's room had, as all the rooms, personalized itself when she came to the castle. Ceiling and top half of the walls were painted to look like sand, and the rest of the room was colored in various shades of the ocean water. The bed looked more like a coral reef with its abstract colors, and most of her items on her dresser and such were sea-shells. There was even a tank of seahorses and starfish. When Kai felt herself being tucked in, she instinctively curled up on her side, still asleep. However, once Hakaru cuddled against her, she drowsily opened her eyes and looked up, blinked, then yawned into her hand.
Jethrow paced his room anxiously. The students hadn't arrived back yet, and he would need all the time he could get. The Master had left this all to him, saying that he was only the venue host, not the man in charge. Finally, the wizard caught sight of the line of students coming back. Quickly, he dashed down the stairs, pushing past the flow of people, and grabbed a hold of his brother's arm as he headed towards Lunora to get lunch. "You go get Luke. We all need to talk." After he let go of his brother, he headed towards Lunora. "I need you to come with me. The others will be there in a moment," he said urgently.
Demetri nodded to his brother, knowing that now was not the time to argue from the older wizard's tone. He took off in pursuit of the wolf demon, finding him, and telling him to follow. He fought his way through the crowd of students again, headed for where Jethrow and Lunora were.
Anya was pacing in the meeting room. They hadn't used this room since they were reviewing the students who would be arriving. Jethrow had told her and Searan to be there, but he hadn't said why. Whatever it was, it couldn't be good. Searan sighed and stood from his seat, putting his hands on Anya's shoulders and forcing her to sit down so she wouldn't wear a track in the carpet.

Lunora nodded and watched Demtri run off for her brother as she followed Jethrow. She wondered why he was acting so flustered and concerned about something. He'd have a heart attack if he didn't calm down.
Luke looked to Demetri and nodded silently and fought his way through the throng of students, following Demetri and growing worried on what he had missed.
Hakaru glanced up as Kai yawned, smiling some. "Kind of ironic you wake up when I put you in your bed." he said, sitting up to let her sit up as well. He was hoping for more cuddles though... He looked cuddles.

Jethrow led the other three teachers to the meeting room, gesturing for them to sit down like Anya and Searan. He paced up to the front of the table and put his hands down on it, staring at the wood. He wasn't sure how he was going to break this news to them. "There is going to be another war with the humans," he started.
Kai glanced up as Hakaru sat up, and she followed. "Meh, I'm a rebel," she said with a shrug. She slipped out of bed, heading for the fish tank. There was an upturned seashell beside it that held the fresh food she fed the creatures with and she dropped that day's food in. Her ears could hear the chattering of the creatures, and one of them told her they thought Hakaru was absolutely adorable. The others started to chime in, and she tapped on the glass to get them to be quiet, before she turned back to Hakaru and walked over, sitting beside him and putting her head on his shoulder. [OOC:] The Creatures: WHEN'S THE WEDDING???? Lol...

Lunora and Luke were at attention. "Another war?!" "What have we done now?" the fox asked, obviously referring to herself as a demon and every other non human student. Petty human thoughts. She was used to hearing what humans wanted. Most was 'humans only.'
Hakaru smiled and leaned his head on Kai's and sighed contently. One of his ears flopped against her head, meaning he was completely comfortable being at the mermaid's side. He put an arm around her shoulders and held her softly, enjoying the moment.
[OOC:] I had a thought. What would a fox earning its second tail look like? Maybe we can use that to our advantage?

Jethrow sighed. "Nothing has been done; this is merely another round up made by the human zealots. I have already made my decision on how we are handling this, and I want you all to hear it. The people who came have given me one week from now to hand over all my non-human students, and to have all the human ones renounce their magic ways and become normal humans. I already know I will not be doing this. Tonight at dinner, I am going to tell the students what I plan. All non-human students will be sent home tomorrow morning to deal with this with their own kind. Any non-human students with nowhere to return to are welcome to stay here, or to leave, as they wish. Human students will be given the option to leave for home, or just leave, but they are also welcome to stay and renounce their magic for their safety. I know that anyone who stays here to fight will have to do it on their own. I will not fight these people. They will most likely attack us, however, when I do not turn over the students they want me to. All of you are welcome to leave, as well. I don't expect you to stay here," he said, looking mostly at Lunora and Demetri.
Kai smiled at the feeling of Hakaru's ear on her head. It was strange, but comforting in a way. She wrapped her arms around the prince, nuzzling against him. Though she wouldn't admit it out loud, she'd been pretty miserable before their beach trip. Now she didn't hate the school so much. However, she was beginning to not like her little sea friends, who were currently "awwww"-ing, and making comments about young love. She was just about ready to throw a shoe into the tank and see how they liked it. Finally, after a particularly annoying comment, she turned to face the tank and said out loud: "Shut up or you will have nothing but seaweed for a week!"

Luke and Lunora both huffed in unison. "This is our home. We aren't leaving." they said in a rather creepy perfect time. The two demons stood, Luke wanting to go start making preparations for the students so they could meet in one of the large rooms to talk.
Lunora sighed some, not going with her brother, turning to Demetri. "If you want to leave I will understand. And I will also understand if you want to take Hakaru and Damian with you." she said, quietly, wanting it to be a personal matter between parents.
Hakaru watched Kai as she yelled at her fishtank, only laughing some. "You can hear what fish say?" he asked, looking at the fish tank. "If they bug you so much, tell em I've always wanted to try sushi."
