I smiled, "I don't want you to get hurt too badly from handling these small fries, Hota-chan." It was the best answer I could come up with. It wasn't much of a truth, but it wasn't a lie either. I knew that Hotaru... 'Or rather, Sailor Saturn.' I thought, knew who I truly was.
That's when the first thief screamed, "SMALL FRIES?! Why you...."
That's when he charged at me. I thought, 'Wait till he gets close, then attack.'

I replied, "I do not take on things that I can't handle. And I don't fight recklessly."
That's when the Dark Spore possessed thief tried to punch me, but I ducked and tripped him.
I held his arm, and I took out a fuda. I started chanting mentally, easilly recalling my grandmother's Shinto training. I yelled, "Evil Spirits disperse!" And I smacked the fuda on the thief's forehead and the Dark Spore was destroyed.
The second thief asked, "You dare defy our Empress?!"
I glared at the thief who I knew was a youma in disguise. I growled, "If defying your stupid Empress leads to me protecting my friends and the people that they care for... And if that protects their future, then yeah, I defenitely defy your empress. The future of my friends and the people that they care about, to protect them... That is my duty. And I cannot afford to lose to the likes of you."

I surveyed the battle. One guy down and then, there was the youma. I thought... 'I can't use my powers now. And if Hotaru and the others are, who I think they are, I have to... That's it!'
I said, "Threaten me all you want, creep. But leave my friends alone. It's me you're after, remember?"
The youma disguised as the third thief asked, "Why not?"
I replied, "Your Emperess has taken her due time to stealthily come to Earth. I doubt that you would harm any innocent civilians until your leader decides to make an appearance, and harming any civilian now would compromise your mission, correct?"
The youma looked surprised. He nodded, "You bring up a good point, kid. You're a lot smarter than you look."
I shook my head. I sighed, "Compliments will get you nowhere with me."

That's when I looked at Hotaru, Michiru and Setsuna. I said, "Thanks for your support, but it's me that these guys are after. They won't stop until they destroy me, or get what they seek. This is my fight." That's when I turned my now laser-like glare at the youma. I snarled, "And if anything, youma, I've already chosen to ally myself with a group as it is. I'd rather ally myself with the Sailor Senshi than to side with creeps like you who want to crush hope in the universe. And that's my final decision."
The youma-disguised human spat, "Looks like I may have to destroy you, brat."
I sighed, "Sorry. My schedule's all filled up. I can't pencil in a date for me to be killed."

((Yeah, I don't know if Usagi she stumble upon the battle or be on her way to visit the Inner Senshi. And I've told Hikari-kun already, but I've got finals to prepare for so I'm very infrequnet with my posts.))

I reached out and grabbed Akira's arm. "Akira, don't do anything stupid." I said. It wasn't really a warning, it was more of a plea. I didn't want to seem him get hurt, not while I was standing here.

I felt a tiny blush on my cheek as Hotaru touched me. I replied, "Don't worry, I won't get hurt, Hota-chan. I won't do anything stupid such as a suicide move... You have my word."
I thought, 'Why did I blush when Hotaru touched me? Do I really have a crush on her?'

"B-but...Akira please don't challenge this thing. Let someone else handle it." I murmured. I didn't like this at all. Things weren't adding up and it was making my head hurt. Why did this...thing, why do these people want Akira? I couldn't figure it out. Unless...

I replied, "I'm not challenging this... Thing. I know that this... Thing and the people that employed thing thing are after me. And they won't stop till they either have what they want, or they destroy me. And I will not let them harm innocent bystanders as long as I'm here."
That's when I thought, 'When the heck did I become so heroic? Could it be... Could being a senshi change a person but not a person changing the way of the senshi? I have to talk to Saturn about this.'

I was beginning to become desperate and I'm sure my parents could see that. I moved to stand in front of Akira but I was facing him. I put my hands on his arms and stared up at him. "Akira, don't do this. Let the senshi or even your friend handle this but don't fight it yourself." I all but begged.
