Blinking in confusion, Aurora turned to face the two men more fully. Not quite getting what Lucius was getting at, her bright blue eyes twitched from face to face.
Then it hit her. "Oh," she said slowly, "I-- I'm not sure!" Surprised by how truly conflicted she felt in answer, she placed a hand to her forehead and covered her eyes for a moment before dropping the hand back to her side.
"I suppose," she started more assuredly, "That if you trust and love him like you do, that I can as well."

Tristian blinked between the two, very confused. Why would Aurora have to love and trust him any? I mean, sure, if she wanted to, but...Tristian bit his lip and clung to Lucius, almost not caring what was going on so long as the other held him close again. Wh...what's going on? The pale boy looked between the others, trying to pull something from them without being overly curious and nosy.

Luc sighed softly, squeezing Tristian gently against his chest tighter, comfortingly.
"Tris, this is my very good friend, Miss Aurora. She wants to be like us. Well, like me. Tris ... help me. Help her."
He looked up at Aurora, still holding the blonde close to him,
"It's ultimately your decision, Miss Aurora. I would understand completely if you two ... if you wouldn't want to do this, but more than anything, it's your choice."

Be...like us? Tristian looked between Lucius and Aurora a moment before his eyes widened. Why would anyone willingly step into that life? He bit his lip some and examined the girl. If she wanted it, she probably knew what it was going to entail, and if that was still her desire, Tristian wasn't about to discourage her. O..oh. He looked to Lucius again, curious as to whether or not Lucius turning Aurora would result in Tristian's permanant dismissal from the relationship.

Luc read the expression easily and dipped his head to kiss the blonde's forehead gently,
"Never, ever, ever think anyone could take your place. It wouldn't be like that. It would be you and me, just like before. But we'd just have someone else to take care of and love."
He looked up at Aurora, still holding tight to Tris.
"I would never push you into something you didn't want Miss Aurora, but ... it could be nice. With all of us. Tris and Bastian and Bianca, and you and me. You could be part of the family."

"I like that offer," Aurora said after a moment of contemplation never taking her eyes off of the two lovers. Smiling warmly, but sadly, she nodded her head. "As long as everyone understands that taking care of my sister and brother would still be my ultimate priority."
Stepping forward, the princess held her hands out to the two of them and kissed each on the cheek lovingly. "I would be honored to be accepted into your family."

Bastian lay stretched out on his bed, tired, but not ready to sleep, even though it was late in the morning. He wondered, vaugely, if his brother was al right, and how his new tennant, Nikolai, was doing. Bianca was still awake as well, but for a different reason. She sighed softly, turning her face into the pillow. The once over-blessed debutante was lonely. She'd had 'Laus and the boy by the lake, and that strange creature Jeika, but they'd drifted away, and now she was by herself again.
Ophelia was awake, sitting in the kitchen of the small apartment. It was coming together fairly well, and she was extremely proud of it. She sipped the black tea she'd brewed, reading over a new book she'd picked up a few days ago.

After catching up with his long-lost friend, 'Laus wandered into the lobby of the apartment complex and stopped half-way to the stairs. Taking out his room key, he sighed softly. "You're an idiot," he said under his breath in admonishment. Nikolaus had forgotten which room was his. Shaking his head, the dragon-turned-human wrapped his tail about his waist and sat on one of the lobby couches, waiting for anyone that might remember where his room was to come by.

Take Over, The Break's Over - Fallout Boy
((Intro post for Vince and Maggie + redirection for 'Laus. ^^))  Neither Maggie nor Vice could cook. At all. So, at Vince's whining about wasting away, out they'd gone to eat. Now, upon returning, while Maggie brooded over her borther's numerous public embarassments, Vince was immediately distracted by the boy-dragon-thing in the lobby. He whisteled sharply, to his sister's horror, and winked at 'Laus.
"Look at you, cutie. Why are you all by yourself out here, huh? Nice tail!" He snickered at his own joke, while Maggie just ducked her head, wiating on him, with a dark expression, to finish humilliating her.

'Laus, being a dragon, had never truly blushed; now, he was a new shade of crimson. Eyeing the boy cat-calling him, and then the girl the boy seemed to be with, he smiled devilishly and did his best to hide his initial reaction. "Careful, I'm the virgin-eating type of dragon."

Tristian blushed softly as he looked between Lucius and Aurora. He took a deep, slow breath as he thought a moment more before smiling shyly to the beautiful girl, an understanding nod offered in her direction as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze.

Vincent giggled again, plopping odwn next to him heavily. For as strong as he came on, he did keep a respeftful distance. Barely.
"I'm more than safe then," he chirrped playfully, "You could find out ... ? But we just met, that can wait! Wha cha lookin so down for?"
Maggie, unable to bear the thought of someone knowing they were related, cleared her throat, making a vauge motion that she was going upstairs, and retreated.
Luc sighed, relieved, and took Aurora's hand. He squeezed it tightly and dropped his head to kiss Tristian's hair, softly, squeezing his eyes closed. Withered and black and old as his heart was, it was half breaking from love for the two of them. Shaking a little, he tugged Aurora's arm gently, pulling her into the embrace as well.

Thumping his tail against his thigh, 'Laus laughed softly at the mention of being "safe". Nodding lightly to himself, he smiled warmly at the thought of how much R'Larin would approve of this one. Running a hand over his 'fro, he changed his grin from that of warmth to a playful half-smile; "Safe? No one of beauty is safe from the clutches of a dragon!" Roaring gingerly, jokingly, he made his hand into a mock of a claw and winked at his new playmate.
"And to answer your question..." he said slowly, "I've forgotten which door my key belongs to."
Aurora, nearly choked up with tears, wrapped an arm around each male and sunk into them happily. Nuzzling against the chest of one, she couldn't tell which, she pressed herself against the opposite one and relaxed; allowing herself to give in to the two of them felt natural and it made her sob softly. It'd been too long since she felt love like this. "Thank you so much," Princess Aurora whispered.

"Mmmm, one can only hope." Vincent was pleasantly surprised by the dragon's willingness to play, and grinned broadly, "For such compliments, I'd be more than willing to help."
The key was still lying where 'Laus had dropped it, and Vince picked it up, turning it around. On the worn leather tab the key hung from, was a zero. Or the letter O.
"Hmm. That's where your room number should be. I guess it's to the office. You're not the boss-man, are ya? I thought he was a skinny little blonde cutie."

'Laus laughed pretty hard at the mention of, he could only assume was, Bianca's brother. "No, I'm certainly not the boss." Looking over the unidentified male's hand, he peered at the tab. "I doubt it's an 'O'," the dragon said with clear doubt in his voice. "It could be a zero, but wouldn't that be the basement?" Completely confused, he shook his head in wonderment. "It's funny, I don't really remember dropping my key at all."
