Alright.
So... as far as I've gotten in the backstory, it was an ancient wyrm that terrorized Semblance long ago until it was tactfully driven into Lake Valentine by the desperate people of the town. Years and years later, when it was forgotten, a young necromancer with far too much ambition for his/her own good tried to raise the dead and, by putting too much power into the spell, called forth the great drowned wyrm from the lake. The undead creature was uncontrollable and began to wreak havoc on the town again. The necromancer lured it away into the mountains with his/her spells and illusions until he/she was finally caught and killed. The necromancer's will to protect Semblance from [insert Deity-name heeeerre] trapped it in the in-between with the Deities of the city it terrorized, bound to the will of the summoners who train there.
Good, good?

I came up with a skill for it called Necrotize.
That is all.

Necrotize, okay... is it a damage over time or something like that? For a death deity it needs a lot of damaging abilities, with potentially over time effects. Maybe decaying time, causing the opponent to slow down slowly over 2 turns(decreasing their dice rolls by 1 per turn that passes) and then paralyze them for 1?

Well, I haven't figure out the details on it, but it is damage over time.
Since Necrotize can be defined as "to cause necrosis" which is the death/decay of cells/tissues cause by injury or disease.... I imagine Necrotize will end up being Skill3 and be a sort of imminent death or loss of limb unless the effects are reversed by strong White Magic.

Shikyoryu, a combination of Shikyo(one of many words for death in japanese) and ryu(a japanese name meaning dragon). Would fit the appearance and element. Or you could use Quetzalcoatl, a name of one of the mayan gods who was a giant feathered serpent.

O: I like it.
I will commence in hurling it at Kyo through IM, and if he likes it, I'll god-edit your name into the credit list. :3
But... it isn't a giant feathered serpent...
It's an animated pile of bones. :T and whatever's grown on the bones while they were in Lake Valentine.

No need to give me credit, just thought of it really. I know some Japanese stuff from watching too many Animes in original format with subs.
