*baps* Although the courtyard had been an excellent place to search, especially so early, it was empty for the time being. If the Furret were looking for an obvious escape route, they headed somewhere else. Otherwise, they were likely in hiding in another area.
That being said, however, the guild wasn't entirely quiet. During their time there, noises of movement could be heard in other areas--though the source was impossible to tell. It could be the thieves, or simply other guild members. Either way, the noises seemed to be in the general directions of the Commons Room, the Pool and the Main Hall

((open RP. Need to do something.)) AliceA small Gardevoir laid within the grassy depths of the courtyard; face toward the sun and eyes closed as she basked in the sunlight. It wasn't particularly hot out. Sitting in the sun gave a nice warm feeling that didn't quite overheat you despite sitting there for extended periods of time. How long had she been there was questionable, but she seemed comfortable and unlikely to move anytime soon. The team had been getting more uptight lately and she wanted nothing to do with it. Alice could be seen traveling the halls more often than not as of recent; once being locked away within her room without considering the idea of going out for no reason at all. Stress was unappealing though and she'd deal with that when she had to. For now, the 4'4 psychic simply did things how she wanted and that was that. Minutes had passed before the Gardevoir shut her eyes for a yawn then proceeded to roll over onto her stomach and stare off at the blades of grass at her eye level. In but seconds, she rose a hand to swat down the grass before her vision as if breaking a trance of sorts, leading to Alice then sitting up and stretching with but another yawn. She then stared off at her surroundings, her eyes moist from her seemingly tired disposition. That was the one downer of nice sunny days. The warmth always left you feeling borderline lethargic.

( ??? )If Alice took the time to notice, there was quite the oddity around her. Stray petals lay in small groups of threes or fours here and there, with no flower around them as the source. Which could only mean they were plucked, but by who? She was, undoubtedly, the only one in the courtyard...well,the only one you could see, anyways.
Odder than the stray petals, however, was the wreath of flowers floating in mid air and the pile of flowers next to it, on the ground. Ah, that's where those plucked petals came from - they were the ones that were too weak and fell right off. In fact, one small white flower petal could be seen coming loose right now, bending over and then floating gently down onto the ground to meet with the others. It was just one, however, and the wreath still looked very beautiful. Well, what was finished anyways...half of it was still just bare stems, a work in progress.
One of the flowers in the pile began to float up, intertwining itself with the wreath. Well, that was strange, wasn't it? If she wished to find out the cause, she would have to get up and examine it herself...as it didn't seem that the wreath would be coming towards her anytime soon.

   Fiorin---Jet---Cheshire
Very rarely did they have a chance to get out for some air. Fiorin's heart went to the kids as they moped about the team room with no real motivation to do anything but lay on the couch in dismay. He felt horrible for them being cooped up inside all the time. Still, it was dangerous for them to go out lately. The world was in chaos, mad Pokemon were attacking the guilds daily and Arceus knows what mischief they'd get into unsupervised. Upon taking the subject up with Harley he came to realize a few things. The first was that Harley agree with him when he explained the situation. The second was she intended to loop him into taking the kids out for the day.
And so that was how Fiorin wound up in the courtyard with Cheshy and Jet in tow. Aries had taken the others to the park, but the two clinging to his side now demanded to see the courtyard. He and the Skitty had split up outside the team room under the agreement that one of them watching all the kids at once would be too much and seperating them might be for the best.
The green-cheeked Pikachu leaned back against the brick wall that surrounded the area, his eyes watching his two young charges carefully though with a guarded smile. It was nice to see them active again. It was even nicer to see Cheshire controlling herself and not playing rough with the young Pichu prancing around her. They seemed to be playing a game of tag, to Fiorin's eyes, and though he wanted to be ready to cut in in case they got too rough he was relaxed for the first time in a long while. What harm could they cause?
"I just want to taste your tail, Jetty! Now c'mere!" The Pichu gave a squeak of surprise and bounded away from the Zorua's snapping teeth. Now, Cheshire had no real desire to bite him but the small rodent's fear amused her to no end and so she kept up her game of snarling at him and sending him scrambling in terror. "Fweowin!" The orange electric type shrieked when the Zorua's teeth came too close to his long tail. Pushing off from the wall the elder Pokemon gave a start. "You two cut that out or we're leaving!" The threat seemed to calm Cheshire down considerably and she abandoned her game to go chase dandelion puffs. Jet meanwhile collapsed on the ground in relief. His tail wa safe!

Era & Eon "Hey, Era! Where are you taking me?" The male Pikachu's voice was somewhat uncertain as he was being forcibly pulled through the Guild's halls by his female counterpart. A bright smile was on said other Pikachu's face as she hurried through the winding halls with a purpose clearly in mind, one that she hadn't elected to tell her protesting companion. "You said this was important!" Eon said, exhasperation tinging his tone. He wasn't as displeased as he sounded with the whole ordeal, but it was a little disconcerting. Era had roused him from his reading to tell him that she needed him to help her with something that was very important, so naturally he'd set his book down to give her a hand with whatever she needed. The trouble was that she'd never really told him what exactly the problem was, just grabbed him and hurried him away from the rest of the Team without any further explanation. Now they were here and Eon still hadn't the faintest idea what she wanted.
Era smiled mischievously at the other Pikachu's protest but still didn't respond to his queries; they were almost there, and getting there was half the fun after all. In a short period of time they'd arrived where she'd been heading and Era slowed their pace down to a walk. "Almost there Eon, don't worry," she said pleasantly, letting the male step in front of her so that he could go through the upcoming archway ahead before her. They stepped out into the sunlit Courtyard one after the other and Era couldn't help but smile. "We're here!" she informed him cheerfully, grinning at his evident confusion, "You always hole yourself up at home all day Eon, it's not good for you. You need to get out and taste the fresh air now and then, feel the sun on your fur and savor it while it lasts." The female Pikachu spoke with such relish that it was impossible to not see her point of view; after all, times were very difficult nowadays. Era just wanted all of her Team to be able to enjoy themselves when they could, because that was one of the most important parts of their lives after all.
Eon shook his head but couldn't help smiling at Era's enthusiasm. It was impossible to be mad at someone who meant well even when she tricked you, especially in Era's case. Besides she did have a point when she said he didn't get out much, and after all what harm could it do? "I suppose you could be right," Eon said, returning Era's pleasant grin with one of his own, "It is a nice day." So, the two Pikachu began to make their way through the Courtyard, chatting idly as they did so with nary a care in the world; it was quite the pleasant change from their usual days.
It didn't take long for the two to spot the others who had decided to spend some time outside as well, their ears picking up the children's playful cries before they caught sight of them. "Looks like someone beat us here," Eon said, surprise registering on his face as though he hadn't expected to meet anyone else.
"Don't look so surprised," Era said with a laugh, "Come on, let's go see who it is." She moved onward with a child-like eagerness and Eon followed, a bit more cautiously. They made their way into the open just in time to watch a brightly colored Zorua bolt away from an equally bright Pichu. Era's eyes softened as she watched the children playing and she pointed them out to Eon with a smile, "See, they're just kids," she told him, rather amused by the timidness of her friend: he really did need to get out more. The female Pikachu continued to skim the area, looking for the children's chaperone, and she was not to be disappointed. "Fiorin!" she said delightedly, catching sight of the unmistakable green of the Pikachu's ears and cheeks. The female waved across to her acquaintance with a bright smile on her face as her companion stood somewhat awkwardly to the side. Ah well, any friend of Era's couldn't be that bad, could they?

 Harumi
There were plenty of Pokemon in the guild who needed to take a bit of time off and relax. That is, they had to take time off that they new they would actually enjoy. A Valentine's Day party that she had been forced to go to wasn't exactly Harumi's definition of relaxing. Now Victor was out on an important mission for the Guild and Aiden was... being Aiden. It was a good opportunity for the the Eevee to go out and get a little fresh air. It wasn't long before Harumi was walking through the halls of the guild, toward where the courtyard lay. Although the Guild had been through a lot, the courtyard remained a place where someone could get a bit of air and peace. It would be a good break from all the training and whining that Harumi constantly found herself undergoing.
The young Eevee trotted through the doors and into the nice courtyard, smiling a bit. Harumi often put on the facade that she hated everything that could be remotely considered girly with a passion, but in secret, she really did appreciate simple beauty at times. She just hated being stereotyped, ironically throwing her into the b***h stereotype. All she needed was hipster glasses. "Looks like someone's here..." The girl muttered to herself as she saw the other Pokemon that were present, Great, there were kids, too. That would pretty much ruin all possibility of any peace and quiet. However, as she watched the children play at a distance, she couldn't help but crack a little smile. They were absolutely adorable~ As the little Pichu collapsed, she couldn't help but attempt to stifle a giggle, which she failed miserably.

   Fiorin---Jet---Cheshire
Fiorin hardly knew what to do with himself out here. He wasn't as easily amused as the kid were and slowly, but surely, the Pikachu found himself getting exceptionally bored. Fate seemed to smile on him lately though, as well as surviving a horrible injury in an attack that left his entire team a wreck he found himself with company more within his age group. "Era!" The green-marked Pikachu declared, returning her greeting with a bright smile of his own. He dropped to all fours and in a few quick bounds was standing in front of the other two Pikachu, for it was now he noticed the winged ones companion. Fiorin glanced at Eon with eyes narrowed in thought and then glanced briefly at Era before turning to stare once more at the other male electric type. His confusion was clear, they looked remarkably similar. "I didn't know you had a twin brother." He said simply with a half smile that portrayed how unerved he was at the situation. He trusted Era fine and believed that this other Pikachu was okay, but there was something about twins that just rubbed his fur the wrong way. It was eerie in a sense, two Pokemon that looked so alike in a world where brightly colord creatures with varying patterns was the norm.
Certain there was no silver and green fanged beast out for his blood any longer, Jet toddled to his paws and glanced around with curious blue eyes. There were other Pokemon here that he'd never seen before. They looked kinda like him, but more like Fiorin really. His attention drawn to them, the Pichu made his awkward and wobbly way towards the trio of older Chu with no real plans other than to get a closer look. "Fweowin." He squeaked, waiting for the older Pikachu to turn to him and when he did the little rodent scurried behind him to peer out at the other two with a proper shield in place. "Who dat?" "Don't act all shy now, Jet. This is Era and ah-" He glanced sheepishly to the male Pikachu and extended a paw. "Don't believe we even introduced ourselves. Names Fiorin, friend. This little one here is Jethro. We call him Jet.""Hi." The orange mouse pipped up before turning to duck once more behind Fiorin and hold the older Chu's scarf over his head to hide himself. "The one out there barking her fool head off is Cheshire. She prefers Cheshy." As if on cue a loud and exciteable howl arose from the courtyard. The Zorua had spotted a new play mate, or play thing, she wasn't really picky which. With a hop to her step she was rushing headlong towards the oddly patterned Eevee who'd just stepped in. What a fluffy tail it had! She bet it tasted great!

Era & Eon Era's expression brightened yet again as Fiorin returned her greeting and hurried over to greet her. It was a pleasant thing to happen upon a friend when you were on a spontaneous excursion. As he approached, Era looked him over carefully, pleased to see that he looked to be doing fairly well, especially considering that the last time she'd seen him he'd been half covered in blood from an attack that the oversized Torterra who had terrorized the Guild recently had sent at them. "It's so good to see you!" she said warmly as he stopped beside them. "Your Team's holding up alright I take it?" She sincerely hoped that statement to be true; the kids looked to be enjoying themselves at least, which was a good sign. Noticing Fiorin's evident interest in her Teammate, Era introduced him. "Ah, right. Fiorin, this is Eon. Eon, Fiorin."
As her friend spoke up again, Era blinked in surprise at his words. "Twins?" she repeated in confusion, her mind taking a moment to process what Fiorin had said before it clicked and she hurried to explain. "Oh, we're not twins!" she said hurriedly. Unfortunately for the female Pikachu's case, Eon chose to speak up at that moment as well.
"We're-" he began, revealing the fact that even the voices of the two Pikachu sounded similar before he realized he'd just complicated the situation further. "It's a long story..." the male said wearily, for the story was also one that he wasn't fond of recounting.
Taking pity on her counterpart, Era stepped forward to explain in Eon's stead. "Eon and I first met on a mission that I took," she began, "He was trying to find someone who could help his younger brother and sister. A whole lot of things happened on that mission, but in the end he ended up without a place to stay and so I let him join the Team." that was the hardest part for her Teammate, she sensed the pain he felt when she spoke of it almost like it were her own and so she glossed over the details as best she could. Now came the part that made the explanation tricky. "I know it's weird, neither of us really get it either, but as far as I know we're not related although it really doesn't look that way. If I had a good explanation for you I'd share it, but honestly we don't understand it either." She shrugged helplessly and offered a smile as if to say What can you do?
When the youngster toddled over to Fiorin, he caught the Pikachu pair's eyes almost instantly. Era was thoroughly charmed by the boy and smiled at him as he peeked out from behind her friend, whereas Eon smiled tentatively though it didn't quite reach his eyes. This little one reminded him of two other young Pichu who'd never gotten a chance to grow up: he could only hope that the same didn't happen for this boy. Eon looked up in surprise as Era's friend extended a paw, and took it after a short delay to shake it politely. "I'm Eon," he returned with a small smile, "It's a pleasure to meet you and Jet as well." He looked down at the boy and smiled, managing the gesture a bit more effectively this time.
"Hello there Jet," Era said cheerfully, no trace of gloom to her attitude as she waved at the young Pichu where he hid. "My name's Era. Did Fiorin bring you and Cheshy out to play today?" The female Pikachu loved kids, finding their endless energy and cheer to be a wonderful stress reliever. It was nice to just watch them play without a care in the world: that was something that was worth protecting. Looking back to Fiorin she smiled wryly, "It seems like you're looking after the kids every time we meet," she said teasingly, "Do you ever get a day off?"

 Harumi
Harumi continued to watch the two adorable children play, a smile plastered on her face. That Zorua, man, she reminded Harumi of herself so much. The Eevee was exactly the same way when she was her age. Hyper, full of life, not a care in the world other than the task at hand. Harumi was beginning to grow up, though. Responsibility had to take the place of playfulness, especially now that she was working for the Guild of the Sun. Harumi's own older sister Skye was beginning to blossom herself, as she was much more mature than Harumi. You could probably trust Skye with more than her younger sister, although Harumi was getting better in that front.
Harumi wasn't even much older than your average child, but she still kinda longed for that childhood mentality again. Sadly, she didn't have much time for such things anymore, between training and Guild duties. So for now, Harumi was simply content to watch the nearby Zorua run around and play. And then she was running. Running fast. Running toward Harumi. OHGODWAIT-
And then Harumi was tackled to the ground.

   Fiorin---Jet---Cheshire
Ah, so they weren't twins. That was a bit strange. How two Pokemon could be so alike and yet not be related was beyond him. Fiorin was more than a bit unerve by this, more so than had they actually been twins to begin with. It was mistyfing. He realized then, as Era explained, he owed to two an apology for his assumption. "Sorry, sorry. Just assumed. Ha, my bad." As the female Pikachu broke into the tail of their meeting he found she quickly avoided a full story and stuck to a basic frame. The string-tailed Pikachu nodded solemnly, it was fine if they didn't want to go into detail on how the two met. It was clear something about it upset the other male Pikachu and from how he'd glanced at Jet moments before Fiorin had more than a few ideas as to why. He chose to ignore the akwardness of the situation and move the topic along quickly at Era's comment, Jet having ducked back behind him when the winged-Pikachu turned towards him. "Heh, that's true I suppose." And it was, remarkbly. He'd never really considered it but every time Fiorin left the team room it was with one or more of the kids in two. The Pikachu could just never say no. Children didn't understand the concept of 'I just want to be alone'. What they heard was 'I don't like you anymore'. Fiorin couldn't live with himself if one of the kids ever thought that, so he rarely left alone since they always asked to come along most the time. It wasn't like they were really a burden, he enjoyed their company for the most part. "I watch the kids because I know how to deal with children, having twenty-seven younger siblings of my own gives me a sort of unofficial diploma in babysitting." Fiorin chuckled and rubbed the back of his head uncomfortably. Talking about his home life was always a bit...odd. Everyone else found the alarming number of family he had to be a bit much. He never saw it, though he was told twenty-seven was somewhat on the strange side. He never got to explain that more than half of them were adopted. The Pikachu didn't feel the need to delve into his own history unless asked so he didn't bother. Jet inched from behind the green-cheeked Pikachu slowly, his paws were held clasped to his chest in a nervous gesture but he managed to step from behind the larger Chu without cringing at the least. Fiorin glanced over at him briefly before slowly glancing up to find out where Cheshire had run off to. "Neither of them are really a problem, actually. They're both swee-CHESHIRE!" His sentence ended with a cry of alarm and the scarf wearing Pikachu broke away from the members of Team MistMelody and Jet to run to the black and gold Eevee's rescue. Curse you comedic irony. "We do not bite others!" The Zorua growled as he approached. She'd successfully knocked her prey aside and was preparing to gnaw on the delightfully fluffy tail the Pokemon possessed when Fiorin scooped her up. "Nyu! Mine!" The dark type began to thrash violently, but couldn't break from the Pikachu's hold.
Jet glanced at his friend and caretaker momentarily before dropping to all fours and inching forward towards Era. One paw reached out to try and touch the shiny, golden wings she had with wide, fascinated eyes. "I want some too." He squeaked out, tugging lightly on them as though attempting to claim the wings as his own. "I have? Pwrease?" The orange Pichu was a bit more bold now that he believed the two Pikachu were friends. His shyness was replaced with a burning curiousity about the two and before Era could answer him he had taken the time to release her wing and dash circles around the duo. "Why you wook same? I be same too? Big Pikachu wike you? Fweowin says no. Gotta ee-vool-vee fewst. Gonna be biggest Pikachu eva!" With each word the Pichu's voice made a shrill, almost whistle like sound as he spoke.

Era & Eon Era looked up pleasantly at her friend's apology and waved it off lightly. "It's no problem, it happens every now and then," she informed him. There hadn't been many who'd actually met the two Pikachu side by side, and few noticed it otherwise because of the female's wings that her doppelganger certainly lacked; however it did make for...interesting conversations whenever the topic was brought up. "Odd things happen in the world I suppose, I've certainly known things just as strange." She looked over at Eon who was listening to their conversation quietly and she gave him a gentle nudge of encouragement. He didn't do much more than nod in agreement at the prompting, but it was better than nothing. Baby steps was what it would take to bring the male Pikachu back to the course of life that the rest of them led.
The female Pikachu smiled as she listened to Fiorin's explanation, eyes widening in surprise at the number he presented. "Twenty-seven!" she said in wonderment, trying to comprehend the amount of work it would take to raise so many kids. "If I had so many to take care of I don't know what I'd do! Three rambunctious little ones are already a bit of a handful for my entire Team to look after. Your parents would definitely need the extra paws with so many children." The discomfit of her companion didn't escape Era's notice, so the smaller Pikachu didn't pry, choosing instead to add, "But you're an excellent choice for the job I'd say. They really do seem to like you." She gestured down to the little Pichu who had ventured out from behind his familiar shield with a pleasant expression. Their conversation was quickly broken as Fiorin's attentions were suddenly drawn to the antics of the green and white Zorua and he raced off to help the victim of the child's teeth. Era laughed in spite of herself as the green-cheeked Pikachu scooped up the girl, much to the Dark Type's protest, and she regarded the Zorua's victim with some curiousity. An Eevee with odd markings, just like another that she'd met during the Torterra's attack. They certainly weren't the same, for the other Eevee had been violet in color, but perhaps they were related...?
The female Electric Type's attentions were so focused on the commotion in the distance that she didn't notice Jet until he'd grabbed at her wings, causing Era to jump in surprise and turn back to the child. She opened her mouth, trying to figure out the best way to respond to such a question, but before she could even collect her thoughts the boy was dashing around her and Eon with the energy that only a child could have. The winged Pikachu shook her head in amusement and smiled, but before she could respond Eon beat her to it. "I bet you will be a big Pikachu someday soon," the male said, leaning down to address the Pichu and stopping his frantic circuit with a gentle but firm paw. Eon had a sort of muted reassurance in his tone, and though it wouldn't be obvious to the child it was clear to Era that he was trying to convince himself as much as anything else. "When you're a little older you'll evolve into a big Pikachu and then you might even get to be a bigger Raichu if you want to. And then you'll be really strong, maybe even stronger than Era or Fiorin or me. There's just one secret to it: patience." He looked very solemn as he spoke the words, as though he were passing on words of wisdom from some ancient teaching. "You just have to keep trying hard every day, and before you know it you'll be stronger than you could ever imagine." After he finished he broke his role and ruffled the Pichu's fur slightly. He didn't honestly expect the boy to retain any of the comment for more than a few minutes, but it felt nice to say it all the same. And as Eon smiled to himself, watching for Jet's reaction, Era watched the other Pikachu with a sense of pride: it seemed this little excursion was helping after all.

 Harumi
Was this it? Was this how it all was to end for Harumi? The Eevee lay on her belly as her predator seemed to prepare to devour her tail first. After getting so blatantly clobbered, the Eevee was still having trouble regaining any composure. "Ow, my everything..." Harumi muttered as a yellow and green blur came to her rescue, scooping up her would-be predator. "Oh hey look, a knight in shining armor~" The Eevee cooed in a groggy manner before managing to push herself onto her feet. The poor Pokemon almost collapsed again as a lot of blood suddenly rushed to her poor little head at one time. "Hnnng... Ow... She sure can Tackle..." Harumi said as she kept her stance and stretched her little back, a small crack audible in the joints. The Eevee then turned her black eyes to her Pikachu savior. "Thanks. I prefer not losing my tail..." That fluffy appendage behind Harumi gently swayed back and forth, the Eevee casting a glance behind her just to make sure her tail actually was still there.

.::Stark::."Hey, hey~ My, my~"The gravelly voice echoed across the courtyard, emanating from somewhere near the fountain, where a heavily bandaged Absol sat, looking into the sky, enjoying the calm day. "Rock and roll can never die~"The Absol kept cadence by clacking his claws on the courtyard cobblestones, a sharp c***k sound following each tap, along with a chip in the cobblestones. The caretakers would have a fit, but that was of little concern to the Absol. "There's more to the picture~ Than meets the eye~" The Absol closed his eyes, as though deep in thought, and let out a sigh, lowering his head. He looked at his limbs, wincing at the thought of the scars beneath them. He grit his teeth as a voice emanated from his consciousness. Why'd you stop singing? That was pretty good, there.Stark sighed again. Can't you ever just leave me even a half-hour of uninterrupted thought?Nope. Too happy. I mean, buck up, Mr. Mopey- we saved the world! Money, fame, women! Think of it all!!You don't even have a body. You do.Stark shuddered, not wanting to dive into the meaning behind that remark. We didn't even do anything, Boros. We got taken out by some cheap-as-hell attack and spent the rest of Doomsday in bedrest. Heroes, we ain't.Ain't isn't a wo--Finish that sentence, and I will go straight to the bar....You're bluffing.Am I?I missed the end of the world. Everyone's moved on but me. Why aren't I happy, yet? What am I missing...?
"...Hey, hey... my, my," he finished, ending with a long sigh as his eyes closed. Victory is boring. And it's even worse when you're not the winner.

Celeste & KeiranKeiran crouched low to the earth, his paws and eyes glowing with a bright teal aura. He could see the heat energy swirling around Celeste, already it was dangerous to get too closet to her. Even from several feet away, he could feel the temperature climbing. The flames swirled and danced around her as she ran toward him, and he reacted instinctively, diving out of the way with a Quick Attack. He countered, firing off a Focus Blast from his palms and striking her square between the shoulder blades. Or rather, he would have; had she not followed his every move.
The infuriated Chimchar leaped at his throat, flames spilling from her maw as she tried to tear at his windpipe. Without a second though, he kicked sharply upward, catching her below the ribcage and winding the smaller Pokemon. He thrust his arm forward, a Force Palm hitting her square in the chest and forcing her away from him. At the same moment, she released a torrent of fire that was consequently spewed directly earthward into the grass, turning the earth to charcoal beneath her paws.
Celeste spat embers at him, only to flinch in surprise as the male charged straight through them, slamming a second Force Palm into her face. This time he heard something crack, the force of the blow having broken her nose. Blood smeared across his dark fur, he glared at his opponent. The look in her eyes was a mixture of shock and pure malice. She hated every fibre of his being, at this point. He didn't have to be an empath to understand that much. Still, the faint reminder of who he used to be seemed to linger in her mind. He'd become stronger, and she didn't like that. "Are we sick of not having a slave anymore?" he hissed icily, shifting his posture so that he stood taller than she, staring downward in hopes of driving her away. Inside, his stomach roiled and twisted. This was agonizing and terrifying. Why couldn't she just leave him alone, for Arceus' sake?
"You're a traitor to your own people. Your luck is dwindling, Keiran; the Tribe stands behind me."
The response was venemous and so void of emotion that it seemed to shock his senses for a moment. He could sense emotion, but now even the frustration seemed to pause. It was... creepy. Unnatural. "You're psychotic," he blurted abruptly, staring with wide eyes. His terror was visible for a brief moment, and Celeste caught it, the triumph lighting in her eyes. He cursed himself, suddenly catching the ruse. She wanted to see his fear, to reassure herself that she was yet stronger. And he'd given her that triumph.
The fire lit in the palms of Celeste's hands, the blood still streaming from her broken nose as she approached. Keiran stepped back, but didn't flee, steeling himself for a second round of fighting. Aura lit around his paws and eyes once more, the bipedal canine drawing all his energy into countering the attack. The two met with a rather extreme amount of force for such small Pokemon, tearing at each other's chests, arms and faces. He felt warmth spreading above his eye, and he realized absently that he'd been hit, but he had little time to focus on it now.
Hands gripped tight around his throat and he lashed out, clawing down the length of Celeste's face with streams of aura. Her grip lessened as she screeched in pain
A curious noise interrupted the scorched, bleeding pair. It was deep and gravelly, from a Pokemon probably around the same age as Keiran himself. The two froze, locked in what was very obviously a rather violent struggle. Staring directly at them was an Absol, his white fur marred by the long, trailing scars that traced his form. He realized for a fleeting moment how utterly bizarre they must appear, especially having burnt a good quarter of the courtyard in their attempts to tear each other's throats out.
The air returning to his starving lungs, he lashed out, driving Celeste away from him. This time, she retreated without question, cautious of the strange Absol that had interrupted her assassination attempt.
Keiran remained, staggering a little as he shot the stranger a weary, uncertain glance. "...Uhh.... it's better not to ask," he advised hoarsely.

.::Stark::.Suddenly, Stark found his day very rudely interrupted. Two very small Pokemon were busily trying to claw each other's throats out, burning and tearing the courtyard to shreds. Stark watched, bemused, for a number of moments, until one of the pair, a Chimchar, wrapped her hands around the other's- a Riolu- throat. This was no mere sparring match- they wanted each other dead. "That's enough." The statement, just loud enough for the two to hear, drew their attention to him, even locked in their deadly embrace as they were. Stark's fur rippled slightly, though there was no wind, his eyes trained in deadly stillness upon the pair. He needed no words to get his point across- Stop it or I will ******** gut you. The one being strangled reacted suddenly, driving away the Chimchar, who scampered away, seemingly beaten for now. The Riolu turned back to Stark, swaying slightly on his feet, a sheepish look on his face. "...Uhh.... it's better not to ask," he said uncertainly. Stark shook his head. "Oh, no," said Stark, rising to his feet, his limbs protesting slightly. He fixed his cold-eyed stare on the Riolu again. "I'm sure whatever this little incident is about is quite the epic tale. Swashbuckling adventures and all of that. I mean, why else would she be so passionate about wrapping her hands around your skinny neck and squeezing? So please," said Stark, the last two words deadly quiet. "Indulge me. Because the last thing I need to see after all of this is one more body in the morgue. Why was that girl trying to kill you?"
