Rakuna was silent for a moment. "I'm not sure, but...I better find out before we reached the village." Calmly, he slowed the car and pulled it to the side. "You two stay in the car." He then got out.

Akihito scowled. "Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I won't still fight."

The beast had stopped a couple of feet away when they pulled over. It watched Rakuna carefully.

Akihito glanced at Austin. "I see. Then, I'll stay here as well."

Rakuna approached the beast. "I ask to know the reason you are following us."
The beast didn't answer him for a time. Then its form began to morth as it turned human. Instantly, Rakuna was on guard. The beast was of the Tiger Clan, who wwas his father's eternal rival. "I have been watching you, Child of the Wolf Clan."

Rakuna narrowed his eyes. "For what purpose?"
The man realized, suddenly, how he must appear to Rakuna. "Ah, I apologize. It's nothing harmful to you and your lot. You see, for a long time now, your father's clan and ours have been at odds for years. When word that you were nothing like him, I was sent as a watcher. Over the years, I've told my leader what I've learned. And then he sent me back to warn you."
"Warn me? About what?" Rakuna asked, slightly interested.
"The village you are heading for, has already been taken over by your father and decimated since you first left."
"W-what!? How can that be!?"
"Your father figured you'd flee there first when you left, ordered the people killed and the village destroyed. When he couldn't find you there, he then realized you'd hide among humans. That's how he found you."
Rakuna was shocked, but shook it off quickly. "That still doesn't explain why you're following me."
"Of course, I apologize. My clan's leader, Lady Airis, wishes to invite you to live in our village. Ah, that invitation includes your human and fox as well."
Rakuna was shocked. "...Give me some time to think on that."
"Of course." The man nodded.

Rakuna returned to the car and climbed in, without turning it back on. "Austin, Akihito...I think we're in a grave situation."

Rakuna hesistated. "Well...Akihito, when was the last time you ever heard from the beast village?"
Akihito raised an eyebrow. "That's...I haven't. I've been with you all this time after all. Contact with the outside was too risky with our situation."
Rakuna sighed. "Huh. Then there is a possibility... Well, that beast was from the Tiger Clan." He then explained what was just told to him by the guy.
Akihito gaped. "That's preposterous!"

"Because you are with me." He said looking at Austin worriedly. "I don't know what interests them so much, but I also know they aren't known for being good liars.. That's why, Akihito, can you go sprint ahead and check on the village?" Rakuna turned to the fox.

"Don't worry. No matter how tough it may get, no matter how bad it may seem, as long as you are by my side, I will make things right." Rakuna said smirking.

{Btw, yes, the village is decimated.}

Rakuna looked up shocked and then nodded. "I see. Then, it looks like we really have no choice." He stepped out the car and walked back over to the tiger. "I have talked it over with my companions."

"Yes. Please, lead us to your village." Rakuna said, then he paused as he saw the man's feet. "Uh...if you would like, you may ride in the car with us with you lead us there."
