Kuroi quickly sat up. "Shina....I'm so sorry....I-" his sentence was cut short when he screamed in pain. He fell to the floor face first and a pool of blood quickly formed.
By this point, Debido had seemed to go feral. His eyes were completely dialated, and he bore his fangs. He walked past Melody and picked Kai up with one hand, pinning him against a tree. With his free hand he punched Kai several times in the gut, stabbed his claws in and twisted them around before throwing Kai into another tree. Debido then walked back, getting more and more unsteady until he collapsed into her arms.

 Kai groaned and coughed up a bit of blood, he tried, but failed to stand again and passed out. As he did, blood shot out of the claw wounds, wrapped itself around Kai's body and took the shape of a giant spider. The blood spider shot a web of blood to prevent Melody from coming at Kai, then quickly escaped and sped back to the inn, after it passed the tree line it dropped to the ground and returned into Kai's body, leaving Kai on the ground near the inn.  Skye was coming back from her walk when she spotted a strange creature rushing toward the inn, when she reached the clearing the creature turned into blood and entered Kai's body. She cautiously approached Kai and looked over his wounds and sighed... ice from the ground under Kai and took the form of a wolf to carry the injured boy to her room. When she got him on the other bed in the room she took his vest and his torn shirt off and bound his wounds, then pulled a blanket over him and let him rest.

"Ehh! Kuroi!!!!" Forgetting that she was to practically nude, Shina jumped down next to Kuroi.. "What is happening..!?" she said, quite worried. She closed her eyes, and unconsciously/unknowingly put his hand on her chest and her hand on his. A warm glow came from within her very soul and looked as though it poured out through her chest, ran through her hand and dripped into Kuroi like running water. Though the water was actually a piece of her soul. She was healing him using her soul. An old technique that ancient elementals used to master, though because this power came from her subconscious, it was clear she had yet to consciously master it.
The waterlike bit that had dripped into Kuroi seemed to gather in the spots Kuroi was injured, physically and mentally. After the glow soaked up the pain it gathered in his chest and then flowed from his hand and returned back into Shina's chest, though the water now looked somewhat mucky as it left Kuroi's hand and reentered her.
After she healed Kuroi, she had taken on most of his wounds, she couldn't fight the overwhelming darkness that took over her consciousness and fell to the floor unconscious as her body began to fight the pain that Kuroi had just felt. What ever Kuroi had been struck with was now Shina's own pain. Whether Kuroi was conscious to witness what she had done, well.. that was unknown.. Whether Shina would remember what she did when she woke up, was completely uncertain, and highly unlikely.
((Wow writer's block suddenly lifted for a brief moment..xD ))

Melody fell on her side in the water covered with a strange red string around her. Her skin grew darker until she became a shadow. She was in no condition to fight, still shocked at the loss of Twilith, and not able to survive in the sun. The only thing she could do was merged with Debidos shadow.

Kuroi would have been blushing, but he lost too much blood. "Stupid...." he said, grabbing hold of her and hugging her, too weak to stand. The source of his pain turned out to be aseal starting from his chest and running throughout his whole body. Though the cuts made by the seal healed, the pattern remained as scars.
The glow from Debido's shirt faded and he woke up, calling out for Melody and Twilith, groggy from the fight.

Melody pat Debidos cheek. "Hey wake up." They were back at her camp site and Melody had Debido laying on a stolen sleeping bag. She pulled another hot towel off the fire and put it over his forehead.

Debido groaned and his eyes fluttered open. "What...happened?" he said, reaching his hand out to Melody.

"You passed out and Kai disappeared so I killed his blood spider and carried you here." Twilith went over to the stream and pulled out his shirt, hung it to dry. "Wish you could've turned into a cat before I had to carry you. I couldn't even do anything until the sun set."

Kusargi saw the events with Kai from a first hand account. She felt weird to be there while he was attacked, but she was there anyway, so she thought no harm, no foul
"Is everyone okay?" she asked.

Skye finished sowing the holes in Kai's shirt, she folded it and placed it on top of his vest beside his bed, then checked his pulse. Figuring he wouldn't wake for awhile, she left the room and went over and knocked at the door Shina and Kuroi were in. "Everything okay in there? I heard someone yell..."

Kusargi walked into the inn and saw Skye walking to another room. She ran to catch up with her.
"Excuse me, but were you with that boy who was attacked in the alley? I want to make sue he's okay."
