The birds flew off to the trees, Endmyion followed them and hid in the trees, he sank into the tree and waited for Apollo to reveal himself. Masking his life-essence with the trees he peered out from the bark. he sent a bird out, it fluttered aroudn the ground where Apollo last was soaked and wet, the bird hopped aroudn the ground.

Apollo nearly lunges at the bird, but then studies it, sighing slightly. He could recognize a shifted god from an animal any day, simply by flirting at the edge of the mind. And this mind was clearly wondering is the rain would bring any earthworms to the surface. He says in a normal voice, "Aww, Dymion... You are so lucky that I can tell when its you and not... I would have felt horrible for hurting a poor defenseless bird..." He chuckles. Suddenly lightening strikes from above, hitting Apollo and sends waves and waves of forceful energy around him, radiating form his skin like a force field, any contact resulting in a static electricity shock, except probably a million times worse. He stands up, walking towards the tree in the air, so that the electricity wouldn't ground itself and leave. He grins, smug.

"Damn...." Endymion said outloud, and let the tree drift back tot he earth. He 'unmelded' himsef from the tree andclicked his tounge, The burnt grass under APollo's feet grew and tied themslsef tightly around teh sun'gods feet, tripping him. Once Apollo was on the ground Endymion sped towards him intent and excitment glowing in blue eyes.
((Hee hee, "God-mode" is fun. ))

Apollo was utterly suprised but managed to catch himself in a 'push-up' position, staring up at Endymion. He struggles, fighting to keep the electricity from leaving his body. And he succeeded. If Endymion touched him physically, he would give him quite the shock. So he decides to stay like this and just face Endymion. He purrs, even his voice crackling with electricty, "That's right, come get a piece of me!"

Endmyion smiled, his lips parting in a grin....He cut off all speed and just knelt nose to nose with Apollo. He panted slightly with the exent of his suddne move and stop. The Young God just glazed foundly into Apollo's eyes. "Looks like your all tied up."

Apollo's gaze was fond as well, and warm as he watched Endymion, "Eh, well, I wouldn't be parading in the streets if I were you." He leans forward slightly, and since it was the only thing he could extend to close the distance, his tongue runs across Endymion's lip... and thoroughly sends waves of electricity into Endymion's body. It wasn't enough to seriously hurt him, but it would be painful and disorienting. Apollo's feet become air and slip through the ties and he stands up, leaning down over Endymion's form, "Come on... really, I want you to pull your best on me."

Emdyion flinced and sat back one hand covering his mouth, it hurt. with tears leaking out he worked his lower lip into numbness, Dymion lay back and sank into the ground. Still reeling from the pain he summoned all teh engery he could and sent sharp spikes of rock shooting skywards!

Apollo distantly cries out in pain. A spike had caught him off balance and he had fallen backwards, impaling the side of his arm onto a spike, but able to stop his descent before another spike got too far into his side. They weren't killing blows, and even if they were, a god wouldn't ever be able to die from it. But he hovers, panting and bleeding. He vanishes so Endymion won't attack again while he stopped the bleeding. Loss of blood would seriously weaken him and make him dizzy. With shots of searing flame, he cauterizes his own wounds, whimpering in pain. He comes back into vision, hovering out of reach, but taring down at Endymion with a smile. A weak, pained smile, but a smile nonetheless, "Now that's what I'm talking about..."

Gaspsing, Endmyion lifted himself out of the ground the stone spikes had toppled, the attack had taken more engery then he'd thought. he thought of raw power and gathered lighting in ball, he sent itbuzzing distrackingly near to Apollo.

Apollo vanishes before the ball of lightening got near and appears in the clouds, pondering what to do. The ground begins to rumble and suddenly Endymion's stone spikes shoot out of the ground and into the air. But theyu turn quickly and fly straight at Endymion, outlining his form, but not piercing him. They did catch on his clothes tho, making it a hassle to get up. Apollo floats down, hovering over Endymion, "Those deplete power sources, only use as a last ditch effort. But good thinking. You're doing well. Not even Hermas has managed to injure me this much in a fight." He sips up, about twenty feet high. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge bear comes barging out of the forest, hurling massive muscle towards Endymion, all teeth, claws, and strength.

The bear roars in frustration, ducking and swatting at the air frantically. He finally gets too annoyed and lumbers back into the forest. Apollo couldn't help but break out into a proud grin as he sank to the ground. The rock spikes that held Endymion down suddenly crumbled and the young god was free. Apollo kneels beside him, "Hey, truce.... You are so..." he sighs, "amazing.... You just managed to pull off a stunt most gods don't discover until they are near death. In your case, yuor bond was so strong that it only took moderate danger to set it off.... With gods, nature feels it owes you. If you need nature enough, it will act upon its own will to save you.... Gods, Dymion... You're going to surpass me!" He laughs in joy, sitting back on the ground. He lays back, tired and covered in blood, his cauterized wounds looking pretty horrible. He covers the one at his side with his hand, beginning to heal it, "We can begin with meditation now. Take what you know about what separates you from others and let it guide you... Find out who you are, Dymion."

Endymion just lay where he was, he was throughly tired and didn't want to sit up just then. Laying on the battered ground he looked up and saw that it' was nearing sunset. Had it been so long? He sat up and winced feeling his musaels ached as walked over to Apollo.

Apollo glances up at Endymion, utterly surprised to see him walking. He pushes himself to sit up on his good arm and settles, indian-style, on the ground. He reaches forward, ginverly touching Endymion's leg. There was warmth from his hand, but soon it was more tangible, radiating up his body. The definition of heat is energy, and Apollo was infusing both into the worn out young god. He would need the energy if he was going to survive the next twenty-four hours. Athena had summoned them near sunset two days ago. Endymion had one day left. He groans, barely audibly, and is forced to take a break from healing himself. He was very tired as well and didn't have the reserves to heal himself right away, although sitting still for an hour or so would provide him with the strength to heal again.

Feeling the warmth flood his aching body, Endymion nearly collapsed beside the older God. He hugged his knees watching the sunset. He knew too that he would have only one more day to practice. While he didn't feel too tired as before he still felt worn-out mostly from the commotion this morning. Endmyion started to leaned towards Apollo, yearning for warmth and security, but he stopped remembering his words from earlier. The young god felt his spirit sink, tired, he rested his head on his arms and panted with exhaustion feeling more alone.
