Crystal bared her teeth, a gleam in her eye that meant s**t was about to go down. She then stood up straight and walked out of view of the camera. "I'll be back."
She walks over to the vehicle area and pulled out the button to call her bike and pressed it. It didn't take long for it to get there from the manor. She then took it by the handles and walked it up to the Batjet. "I'm borrowing this to get to Vegas. I promise I won't hurt it."

Brenda looked over and Crystal, and said simply: "Not a scratch." Then she turned back to the Batwave.
"Apex... Don't know who that is; he's not on file here. I haven't seen a 'Nightshade' on here either," she said to Oracle.

Crystal nodded and loaded up her bike into the jet where the Batcycle usually sits and got into the cockpit. "No problem." She said as she closed the hatch and went though launch sequence and left the cave.

Cyclops diverted his attention to Song Bird, and soon the group when he spoke after some thought.
"I have great experience and my strategy is sound. I have chosen teams on previous missions that have worked for the best and I would like to chose a team now, lead it, and save the children from the base. While one team stays at the Institute and another stays in another hiding facility. The children will be brought here with the Ivana and Threshold captured. Any extra children beyond our capacity to one of our other safe locations such as the cave or the space station."
"Why did we lose Kai? And wh- never mind. Brenda, I need to be filled in a bit more than just hearing them speak. Let me get this strait, we are still planning what to do about IO? First off we need all of our members out of harms way. All in safe places. Can any of you get Kai back here with Dundee, Arell and Crystal?"
"And we are waiting on the Flash girls and Nightcrawler. Our planning doesn't need more trouble, but we need to fill them in on their parts when they arrive based on our decisions. Personally I think that the younger heroes should leave while the more experienced adults work over the plan."
Garfield felt a little bit of agreement but couldn't help but think that the youth could also pose ideas that the older members might not have thought of.. In anycase they were right about getting the teams together. Garfield pulled out a communication devise and started writing a message to each member individually that was out of the current debate. To Kai: "Message me the 411 on your situation. Now. We need you back at the cave asap if you can." To Flash Girl: "If you guys are close to done, we need you back at the Institute. Nightcrawler and your sister too, preferably intact should anything happen."

Starfire stood behind Brenda and Richard, looking up while thinking real hard. Then, the Tamarian's eyes widened, as she recalled the dark vigilante, "Wait.... I know this one. Nightshade has been helping the Titans against the government assassins... I think that's who they were referring to."

Grayson looked to Starfire and nodded. He remembered the man there before when he was transporting others around. He was about to speak again as he stood behind Brenda possibly to ask a question before his communicator beeped. He picked up his communicator to answer when he heard a familiar voice come over the other line.
"Grayson I'm on my way to Gotham. Don't leave the doors unlocked I'll just phase through."
Kai chirped in with an earpiece she dug out of her utility belt. Currently she had the earpiece set under the bike helmet to block out the revving engine of the speed bike.
Grayson smiled a little and then looked to Brenda.
"Oh, Hey Kai! Brenda Red Cardinal is on her way back to the cave. Kai, Do you want me to patch you through to the group? You sort of disappeared on us."
"Um, I'm driving but go ahead if you'd like. Although I'd rather it just between the cave and Tim. I need some logic before I break something."
"Yes, okay... we still need to talk about a few things as well, but I'm connecting."
Grayson transmitted the connection to the group chat once again. After a time of side conversations and waiting on responses the talk about the issue of IO had become more of who's plan was better rather than should, would, and when.
"Red Cardinal's connected back into the chat. Welcome back Red Cardinal."
"Thank you Nightwing. I had a fight with Arell... I wouldn't be surprised if he scared the IO goons to another base and flee with the children. I'm sure they have bases off their own records in case of hack-ins."

Starfire had a thoughtful look on her face and spoke up, "It is good to hear from you again, Kai. But... If this I.O. is going to move the kids that they are using for experiments, we'll need to move fast."
Oracle's voice interjected over the Batwave, "If I.O. has a 'heads up' about us knowing where their base is, we need to do something now. Beast Boy, how soon can we get the speedsters and Nightcrawler back here? I think we now have a very short window for us to pull this op off."

"Hey, I.O. is going to be watching the front doors. I've calmed Arell down and he's not going to attack the base. Although y'all might want to move quickly, no matter." Crystal's voice chimed in as well. She sounded serious.

Batman's voice came over the communicators. It sounded as if he was talking to someone that was with him, but he obviously thought that what he had to say should be heard by all.
"I think, at this point of the planning stage, the X-Men and Oracle are on the right track." He paused for a moment before continuing. "We will keep tabs on activity around the base from here. Our sensors should be capable of tracking that. If they move, or 'rabbit', before we are able to move I'll use the JLA teleport technology to get a squad of able persons to an ambush point to get the kids."
Another, longer pause came from the Caped Crusader. "In any case, we can't jump to conclusions at this time of what I.O. will do as far as trying to get away."
His voice then directed towards the com. "Did you get that Oracle"

"Yes, I got that B... Wait, what the heck is this?" Barbara trails off for a few moments before speaking again, "Batman? I.O. has already started on the kids. The X-Men's computer is detecting nine new mutants at that location. Cerebro calculated at least two... no three Alphas... whatever the heck that means. Cerebro seems to be still calculating the results.

A voice coming in on a Titan comm interrupted the meeting, "Hello?"
After a few moments, Oracle's voice responded, "Red Star? Where are you?"
Starfire practically squealed in Richard's ear, hearing Leonid's voice. The Tamarian would have responded, if it weren't for the fact that her own comm was having issues and she thought it would be a really bad idea to bump Brenda out of the way to message Red Star her elation for him being alive and hopefully well.

Summary:
As Oracle catches Red Star up on most of the goings on and the preparation to strike at I.O. Barbara gradually wraps up the meeting stating that those who are going on the mission should gather in one location to stage an attack. Oracle herself will help coordinate the operation from the X-Men War Room.
Overall command of the mission is to go to Cyclops, because of his experience in running mission operations with the X-Men. Scott's deputy leaders will be determined by him.
Barbara notes that everyone linked to this meeting needs to state as either going or not going on the mission.
(i.e. Make a statement for your characters as to whether or not they are going on this mission. For those who do, remember that Cyclops [played by MahoHaku] is in command and follow his lead. The mission parameters are save the kids and capture I.O.'s leaders to bring them to account for their actions. And we can finally get to the action!! Thanks everyone!)

Oracle's voice transmitted on the Batwave, "Hey everyone! I.O. just went on full alert. It looks like four of their test subjects who just developed powers are trying to escape and are working together. Those four who seem to have put I.O. into panic mode appear to be composed of a gravity manipulator, a weather controller, a fire generator, and a strong 'brick' how appears to be getting stronger by the second. If you want your distraction, you have it now."

Brenda wasn't capable of doing anything with said distraction, but luckily Brigade-- Whom she had almost forgotten was even in the Cave, because he (It? They?) hadn't spoken for quite some time-- got her attention with something.
"Wayne-Brenda, we have information that you may find interesting. We have encountered a cell phone call between Aiden O'Connor and C.J. Benoit, regarding the capture of Misty Gallay, Benoit's girlfriend, by Yuriko Oyama."
"Yuriko Oyama..." Brenda muttered, quickly looking through her databases and finding the right file. "Okay... I guess she did all those grisly killings I've gone over, the ones where people were ripped to shreds."
"Yes," Brigade replied. "But there is a more personal stake regarding Misty Gallay's well being; from what we can gather, she is with child." This made Brenda stop for a moment, and she slowly looked back to Brigade.
"Who's got the stake in capturing her?" she asked.
"Wilson Fisk, also known as The Kingpin, based out in--"
"I know. I read the file." Brenda replied, standing up and looking to the others in the Cave.
"You guys hold down the fort. I'll be back as soon as possible," she said, and, still clad in her Batsuit, she moved for the nearest Batmobile. "Brigade, give me the location of the phone call you intercepted. I'm going to be helping those two."
With that, she got in the Batmobile, and drove out of the Cave, with Brigade pinpointing the location of the phone call.
[Exit Brenda to Surrounding Area of Gotham]
