The two slept soundly, though morning seemed to come too soon to break their lovely sleep. Richard preferred early morning showers, so before he took off to get clean, he kissed Lorey goodbye, saying he'd see her later.

After his shower, he decided he might as well send a call out to his mother to see how she was.
After a short, painfully awkward conversation, Richard explained how he wanted to see her again, and introduce her to his fiance. There was a snide remark concerning Roe but Richard bit his tongue. But soon enough he was given an invitation, and for that afternoon no less!
Immediately, Richard changed into a nice dress shirt and dress pants and matching shoes that Damian had purchased for him.
He fixed his hair up as nice as he could, put on his new watch, and even put on a little cologne. Finally, he grabbed his old overcoat, that was till adorned with the metals and buttons he and Lorey re-attatched. With that, he left a note for Damian and Raquel before heading off to work to speak with his boss, then off to find Lorey.

It was just a few hours alter, that Raquel re awoke with a slight stretch. They had spent the entire morning sleeping since...well not much sleep was done most of the night...not until very very early that morning.
She found herself tangled up in a single sheet, as well as Damian's limbs, lying face to face with him. She smiled as she watched his serene, happy face just dream. It was then she fought the urge to try her touch again and see what he was dreaming. but she preferred just guessing as he breathed evenly.

After a good long time of this. She kissed his nose gently, figuring he'd probably be sour that it was almsot 1 in the afternoon.

"We already said that...before we fell asleep..." She said flirtatiously, propping her self up so she was over top of him, looking down into his face, her hair falling all around them both. She felt very much like trinity, crawling up onto him with a silly smile on her face. "But strangely enough I'm alright with that..." she was fighting hard not to smile as widely as she wanted.

Raquel blushed and laughed, sitting herself upright on him, using the sheet to cover her self just a little. "And if you let me, I'll grace you with my presence every morning..." She bit her lip, walking her fingers up his bare chest. "And every night..." Her eyes sparkled with mischief.

Raquel giggled slightly. "That I can't promise, but we'll see..." She sighed, looking about the room at the mess of books they had thrown to the floor, scattered with their clothing which had come flying off in a hurry. But something else caught her eye. A little piece of paper near the door. Raquel stood, taking the sheet with her, throwing a near by pillow to cover his 'lower half' As she went to pick up the scrap of paper. Standing there, draped in the sheet as if it were a toga, her long hair cascading in light curls everywhere, and bare pale back showing...she did look like a true Goddess, if only for a moment.

"It's from Richard," She looked up smiling. "He said he and Lorey would be out late....they're having dinner with his mother.....and he borrowed your...tie?" She cocked and eyebrow, shrugging as she set it on the dresser. "And he made some comment about not rocking the walls, because some people were trying to sleep." She blushed but laughed shaking her head.

Raquel sat on the corner of the bed, grasping the sheet around her still. "...I wish I could have met your mother..." She said a bit sadly. "Heck, i wish I could have had the privilege of meeting your father before he died..." She added, looking up to him.

Raquel came up closer to him sitting on the edge of the bed still. She reached out to touch his face gently. "She sounds like a lovely woman..." She said softly but sadly. She seemed to think a moment. "I-....I don't even know who my mother is...Or where she is, and part of me doesn't give damn." She said those spiteful words with such softness it almsot sounded humorous. Raquel let her gaze drop, remembering the horrid rainy night. It was awful. That was one ofthe first times she really considered suicide.

*AH I didn't realize, tha post was actually mistyped. xD I had soem other lines of dialogue I took out and didn't correct the after part...xP oh well...>.>*

Raquel sighed but smiled. "You're right...and to think about it...I should thank her..." She cocked her head, taking his hand in hers idly. "I was so young when she basically threw me away. I could barely talk let alone fight back, so i just remember screaming 'I love mommy! sorry i be good!' over and over as she just left me in a filthy alley way, in a trash bin no less. I remember crying and crying for hours on end... thinking my life was going to just stop. But a kind old woman who was heading home after a dinner party heard my cries and found me...She took me in and for the first time I got to experience what 'love' felt like...She's m'lady, the one who helped me with my schooling, and I helped do chores around her house..." She smiled a little, remembering the various pleasant memories from that. "But after a tragic accident with I was around 12, I had to run away...but I was found and forced into a foster family that already had too many kids. The father treated me no better than my real father did, abusing me the same ways...So I told you, what happened after that..." She let her gaze drop again, knowing thats when her life turned for the worst for a long time. "But after all tat bad...It all turned out good again..." She looked up at him, smiling. "And I've got the love again. And I'm not scared every minute of everyday..."She squeezed his hand.
"I bet you didn't know I was scared when you found me..." She added softly kissing him gently.
She knew Damian knew these horrid bits and pieces of her life, but they were always so scattered and mixed with her memories of good. She just wanted to clear things up as well as show him how she felt it was all worth it if it were all a bit trail of events leading down to her being with him now.
