Falcon froze, taking a moment to register what just happened. She stared as her old comrade sat in her lap and gave her a hug as if they hadn't seen each other for ages. Salem moved in Falcon's arm. "Is that Robin?" his slick, serpentine voice hissed, his red tongue flickering with amusement. She felt that odd feeling whenever he parted from her skin, the flat tattoo taking official form and becoming an actual snake coiled around her upper arm. He raised his triangular head, signaling his venomous bite, and stared at the top of Robin's head. "Hello, Robin," Falcon just sat there, but she lifted a finger and rested it against Robin's forearm, which was pretty much equivalent to an kiss-on-the-cheek welcome for Falcon. Old memories surged forward to the front of her mind, and Falcon hesitated in letting them. There was her induction into Eternity, the assassin organization that both Robin and Falcon had belonged to. There was meeting Robin, and despising her in the beginning. There was their first assignment, which was a complete disaster, but was still a success without discovery. And then there was her first meeting of Raven.

Robin restrained her laughter as she remembered Falcon's "please dont rouch me or i'll have to kill you" policy, as it had always been. Robin gracefully jumped off the lap of her newly refound old friend. Seeing Falcon brought back some old memories; some very amazingly pleasant ones of joyous laughter and smiles; and those of unhappiness, sorrow and regret. betrayal. jealousy. abandonment. death. Raven.......Victor.

Falcon stared into her friend's eyes with a swiftly approaching wave of nostalgia. Robin was here. . . . which also brought along a tidal wave of unpleasantness. Robin was the reason Raven disappeared. Falcon's heart fluttered at the thought of her former partner. They had been the Triplets of Spades, the highest partnership in the entire organization, with Raven as their planner and organizer, then Robin and Falcon would go in and take care of the job. That was how they worked. Of course, Robin, and sometimes Falcon, couldn't help but perform with style and occasionally leave a calling card like three Ace of Spades, or something flashy. So, of course, their calculator had to be someone creative and precise. Raven was both. His black wavy locks, his pale skin, his navy blue eyes, his kind demeanor. . . she shook her head, trying to get his image from her mind. It would only make things worse. "Robin, what are you doing here?" Salem asked the question that Falcon was reluctant to introduce. The long, thick, adder with gold scales edged in scarlet and emerald eyes always knew what Falcon was thinking and interfered when he thought necessary.

Robin staggered back at the abruptness of Falcon's question. why was she here? she felt a small warming around the core of her belly button as Olive and Oswald detached themselves from the skin around her navel. Olive; Robin's kind, realistic, sweet motherly fox gently wrapped herself around Robin's leg, her soft blue tinted fur brushed against Robin's exposed shin and she sent warm comforting thoughts into Robins head. Then Oswald had to come and ruin Olive's positive attitude. He leapt onto her shoulder, his orange tinted tail wrapping around the back of Robin's neck protectively, slightly barring his teeth to Falcon. Olive's opposit, Oswald sent negitive, untrusting feelings into Robin's mind. A classic Angel Devil pair. "Falcon. I...I just wanted to...experience a different way of life. You know...part of a family that had positive insentives. Why are you here?

Falcon watched with amusement as Oswald bristled at Salem's question. Oswald and Salem had never really been the best of friends. Salem, being a snake, had gotten on better with Raven's pure white dragon, silver wings spread across his shoulder blades with the body trailing his spine, Anari. "Me? I'm here because--since I can't go back to being one of the Triplets of Spades--" Falcon ignored the sudden silence in the room "--since there aren't exactly three of us anymore. So now, the only action I can get is killing some humans for food." Salem slipped off her arm inconspicuously as she spoke and crept up behind Olive noiselessly. He wrapped his tail around her middle, causing her to let out a fearful wail, and finish with a flourish. In an instant, he was back on Falcon's upper arm and returning Oswald's murderous glare with a perfectly innocent stare. The corners of Falcon's full mouth twitched. Familiars were so entertaining sometimes.

Robin inwardly chuckled at Oswald's anger; but she could also feel his aggravation turn to pure hatred as Salem touched his love, Olive, with such disgrace, frighting her half to death. and the coward. running to his saftey before Oswald could tear his sharp teeth into Salem's scaly skin. Robin tried to rid her mind of Oswalds thoughts of murder and Olive's surprise and scare. Robin looked to Falcon, she laughed a little forcefully and nervously. "well those two haven't changed a tad. Sorry about him again." Oswald scowled at Robin before leaping down to his mate and licking her protectively on the forehead. They looked to Robin, Olive giving her a warm foxish smile and licking Robin's leg before the two retured to their spot by Robin's navel. "Falcon, my love, what have you been about? I mean, i dont mean to be nosy of course, but i would simply love to hear stories of your adventures over the months that we have been apart."

Falcon watched with indifference identical to Salem's as the two foxes returned to their places on Robin's stomach. Then, she looked at her friend with blank, guarded eyes. "I've been. . . . good. Just. . . . . wanted to get away from. . . . all those. . . memories." Falcon said monotone, her emotions struggling to break free. What she had really wanted was to escape the memory of Raven and his disappearance that had hit her heart like a million needles. The fact that she had loved him so deeply, and yet he'd been able to die. To leave her side for all time. And he'd never even known her feelings about him. Her memory flared involuntarily; Robin ran down the white-wash hall, Falcon stared after her. It had been a perfect performance. The job had gone so cleanly, since this was Raven's first time to cooperate with the former Two of Hearts, that they'd actually finished earlier than expected. Falcon was feeling high in spirits, so she walked down the hall, glad for her tight, denim stretch long shorts and her snug tank top in the heat. Finally, she saw Raven coming from a different way and following in Robin's same direction. Falcon's heart fluttered as she looked at him. His night black locks, long and unruly, his pale skin, his almond-shaped navy blue eyes, a lean, graceful figure that reminded her of a panther, and his sensitive lips that would smile so easily. "Robin!" The way Raven said it made Falcon freeze. "Yes?" The words were coming from around the corner, so Falcon lined up to the edge and silently reminded her conscience to reprimand her later for eavesdropping. "Umm. . . . I need to say something." Raven said, sounding embarrassed for the first time ever. Falcon forgot all about chastising herself and listened carefully. She could almost see him scratching the back of his head awkwardly, and Robin looking at him with curious confusion. "Er. . . . yes?" Robin asked after Raven hadn't said anything for a while. "Well, I'm not sure how to say it, so I guess I'll just--" "Oh, goodness me!!" Robin exclaimed, shouting an apology to Raven as she raced down the hall again. Apparently, there was something to do with the supervisor that prevented Robin from hearing Raven's final words in the sentence. "Oh," Raven muttered, thinking that no one could hear him, "Well, Robin I love you." Falcon froze, barely feeling her heart turn to lead as the sadness and longing in Raven's voice turned any emotion left in her to ice, only to melt away and disappear. The memory dissapated, and Falcon's icy demeanor returned, but she didn't aim it at Robin despite Falcon's bitterness toward the poor, happy-go-lucky girl.

Robin watched curiously as a range of emotions flashed across Falcon's face in little more than a second. robin hadn't really been asked but she decided she needed to say something. "well i am just dandy myself. Traveled the world. The Amazon, Paris, England, Egypt and of course China, i mean all the people there are so short i cannot ignore my longing to be near that are actually my same height." Robin smiled awkwardly, she really didn't know what to say next. "W-Where's your room? I'm so lost...maybe you could help me find my own?"

Falcon snapped back to attention. She stood slowly, almost as if being careful not to disturb anything, and beckoned to Robin to follow her up the long, elegant staircases. The woman moved sinuously and with such grace, the air around her seemed to bend and shimmer. Like she was an Ice Queen. "Come, Robin." She began to ascend the staircases, not even checking if Robin would follow, because she knew that she would, and continued around the corner after reaching the fourth floor. Her room was in the secluded, shadowy corner, and it was probably the most valuable room on the fourth floor for a vampire. Since it was so high that the sun hit it upon rising, the fact that she had one or two windows was amazing considering that most of these mansion rooms had around five. From a distance, as the shadows enveloped her into their caressing hold, she looked like a beautiful ghost, pale and fragile, but with a deadly strength that seemed almost illegally secret.

[Enter: Main Room]
Falcon treaded warily into the thick of the crowded lounge. She sank down into that same chair as before and put her fingers to her temples. The psychic wavelength of the room was absolutely chaotic, slowly becoming a pounding headache. "Oh God." she breathed with exhaustion.

Weak and frail, Rhen knocks on the front door gently. Somehow she knows that the door would open into a main hall, and be subtly safe for her, until the questions start.

Rei sighed as she walked up to the door "this better be the right floor." she held her breath as she opened it and was relieved to see it was exactly like what she heard. she walked over and plopped on an empty chair "now i just hope at least some will socialize with me." she thought and proceeded to just watch the others.

Rhen notices the door isn't locked. She opens the door slightly, hearing murmurings from a large room. She stumbles nervously inside. She enters the large room, cautiously at first. She knows that she is being watched. She walks over to a girl that looks lonely. She sits down lightly a bit away from the girl. She still feels the eyes on her, but she ignores them. "So, who are you?"
