((Wow.....this story suddenly turned very depressing.....))

Opal's strings pulsed violently. "Mr. Feathers?" Opal asked wearily.

Dougal was calmer now....though not by much. He whispered his last farewells to his sister, and decided against watching her burial-it would be far to depressing for him to bear. He nodded to Adam, and glanced again to Natasha. He wondered over slowly to her and tried apoligize.

"That's no what Opal is worried about....." Opal replied. "That kitty.....Opal's strings could not connect to it....."

Dougal's head hung low-his face was shadowed. There was nothing else to to now except to accept Aisling's passing. He took a deep breath and exhaled. He felt something then.....his ears and tail twitched. He took a protective stance in front of Natasha and Lilith. He promised Aisling to protect this new family, but he intended to keep it in her honor.

((Tay-I have to go to work now (6 hours in the cold-yay).....*puts on her fabulous green apron and name tag*....yep-I'm sexy now-lol.....anyway-if Mirza wants to capture Dougal go ahead (or Opal who is trying so hard to protect Mr. Feathers)-I look forward to what happens next when I return...either later tonight or tomorrow.))

"A cat?" Gabriel asked. He then mentaly smacked hismlef for being so stupid.
"argh Hell..."
he clung to Opal and diverted back to where he had some, seeking out the 'cat'.

Natasha frowned, noticing that something was up.
"What's wrong? do you sense something?"


Meanwhile Adam finsihed burying Aislinga nd patted the dirt over her body. He had lived with Death for long enough to know that the body was nothing but a lump of meat once the soul departed, but he felt t was the right thing to bury her properly for Dougal's sake. Plus it was practical.
He stepped back and rubbed the dirt off his hands on his long black loincloth and sighed. he looked over at Lilith.
"Do you perhaps think a headstone is appropriate? or something..."
he shrugged to himself. without a coffin, it would only be a matter of weeks before her body was completly eaten by the worms. He didn't know whetehr they wanted a marker for her or not.

"That would be nice." Adam agreed. He looked back down at the disturbed earth.
"I understand that he is sad, but he shouldn't be. She's happy, I'm sure." he said. As he looked down at teh earth a little more, he then looked sideways at lilith.
"You know, there is something I was wondering about your 'profession'. What exactly is it that reanimates the bodies? It surely can't be the soul, because the soul passes on. I know it because i'm in charge of it...and I don't ever bring souls back - not even with Jesus. so...how do you do it?"

Adam was genuinely interested. he smield a little in acknowledgement.
"Ah I know that energy. So it's a little like Opal and her puppets. But do your subjects retain any brain functions of their former life? or are they completly just as mannequins?"

((Aw-I see no ones been kidnapped and taken to hell I see.....))

Dougal's eyes narrowed. "Just.....be on your guard....." he replied to Natasha.
Dougal tried to pin point the source of the disturbance he felt, but something was causing him great difficulty for him to do so.

His mind became distracted when his ears heard something about a headstone and an inscription.

"Yeah, I brought back a really good Elvis impersonator once, I think that may have been a bad idea." She chuckled.
"His brain worked perfectly though. He'd only died a day or two before so his brain hadn't started decomposing yet."

"Kind of. As long as someone's not decomposing yet they work pretty well after being brought back."
Lilith looked down at the grave for a moment and was about to say something about Aisling but decided against it.
