Lance nodded and let the boy play with his hair. "She... You mean your mum?" Lance asked not quite sure who he was talking about. "Mali sweetie I don't think.... Do you want to see her?" He was curious now, if he could get the woman's full name and occupation there was no doubt that he could find her, but He didn't think she would care to see Mallory even if she had the choice. She had chosen to leave him behind, and probably thought that portion of her life was behind her.
Barry Finished cooking himself a meal and plated it in a large white salad bowl, before moving back into the living room to spend some time with his new guest and old friend. “You sure you don’t want in on this?” He joked consuming a bite sized piece of chicken.

"Yes, my mother and... I do not know. I think... I think that I would just like to know why she left me. But what good will knowing do me, really? It is foolish, childish to linger on such a thing. Please, forget that I mentioned her." He leans over to kiss Lance's jaw. The smell of Barry's meal wafted in ahead of him and Mallory had to admit it was very appetizing. All the same, he knew that eating food was something he desired, not something he needed. He felt enough of an imposition already; he would take no more than he needed. So he smiled to Barry and replied, "Merci, but non. Your hospitality and company are more than enough just now. Thank you." Almost of it's own accord, Mallory's hand touched Lance more possessively. His fingers trailed over the man's neck, then tangled loosely in his silver hair.

Barry shrugged and sat down in a cushy seat across from them. He watched the boy carefully them smirked. "I thought you didn't like younger men Lance." He teased and Lance blushed turning his head to glare at Barry.
"Mallory is very mature for his age Bear." He said and turned over to put an arm around the boy's waist and rub his tinny abb mussels with his thumb. He swallowed hard and sat up slightly. “And I would appreciate it if you did not insult him.”
Barry shrugged again and took another bite of his meal. He did not like that his old lover had Not only come to overtake his home, but also brought a new love interest as well.

"I am not insulted, amoré." Mallory said to Lance with a soft smile, running his thumb lightly over Lance's lower lip. In fact, he was secretly pleased that Barry recognized his place in Lance's life now. It was a selfish pleasure, one that slightly assuaged his jealousy. It also pleased him that Lance had stood up for him, but that was something he would have to learn to do for himself. If Lance was not commonly attracted to younger men, then Mallory certainly could not allow himself to be meekly cowed by just casual words from Barry as a child would. "I am not unaware that your tastes tend toward... different avenues." His eyes strayed to Barry, taking the older man in fully. This was the sort of man Lance wanted... but Mallory swiftly reminded himself that, for whatever reason, Barry and Lance were no longer together. He did not have to be Barry, no. He had to best him.

Barry nodded. "Well let me tell you..." He crossed his legs and leaned back getting comfortable. "Lance use to be with...What was that guy's name? The really old one?” He put the end of his fork to his lips and thought, unable to recall the man's name.
"John..." Lance said. "His name was John." He did not like that Barry was bring this up in front of his new partner. It was very unprofessional of him, but as long as he had to stay in that apartment he had to put up with it.
"Oh, that's right John... He owned the club you worked right? “Barry took another bite of Chicken and swallowed. "He was creepy, or At least I thought so." He laughed dryly and glancing at Mallory.

Mallory caught on that Barry was attempting to make things uncomfortable between himself and Lance. And he was not entirely unsuccessful; Mallory raised a hand to his chest as though he could physically feel his jealousy burn there. Then he forcibly calmed himself and lowered his hand to Lance's thigh. His expression changed with the speed of thought, affecting the sort of meaningful grin and twinkling eye that he had seen his father take on often. It was all a performance, an act to protect the vulnerability Barry seemed to have detected in him. "Experience is a very attractive thing in a lover, mon ami. I would not wish his hands to stumble with uncertainty when we are having our private pleasure, n'est pas?" The boy kneaded Lance's thigh possessively, suppressing the blush that threatened to burn on his cheeks. One shoulder lifted in a careless shrug. "What care do I have whether this man was creepy? He must have had some talent if my Lance maintained an interest in him. You will have to show me sometime, mon cher. I am most eager." Mallory's heart beat a little too quickly and he willed it to calm. He was in control; he was ever in control.

Lance shot to an upright seated position as soon as Mallory started rubbing his thigh. It wasn't like he wasn't enjoying it, it was just that it was a really big surprise, and that the boy did not seem to be doing this out of love, just out of a need to have power or control or something. "Uh, I..." Lance was blushing a deep red and wanted to die right then, His sweet little man was being corrupted and this needed to stop. But his hand felt really good...
Barry laughed at Lance's response. He finished his meal and stood to go and put his plate in the sink. He walked with purpose and strength, and then came right back to sit once again. He Smiled warmly at Lance and sighed. “Well I’m feeling healthy. You want to drink now or later?” He asked kindly.

Mallory felt some shame at startling Lance. He knew it would be confusing for his love, who had never seen him act this way. Nor had Mallory ever acted this way! When Barry rose and walked away, Mallory whispered in Lance's ear. "If I let him intimidate me in this, I will be at his mercy. Please, mon cher; it is only acting." His touch turned more gentle and tentative, but he continued to stroke Lance's thigh. He looked into Lance's eyes, his own gaze nervous that Lance would not understand. Barry had returned before Mallory could say more and he avoided looking to the man. He pressed a light kiss to Lance's shoulder instead.

Lance shook his head and moved to stand. “I can not support this Mallory. He doesn’t mean to act that way, He is just a little sore still. Please don’t do this.” He said clearly saddened, “I have some business to discus with Barry, Please don’t do anything drastic while we are talking.” He Smiled as Bear walked back into the room. “Now, but in privet please.” Lance took the mans hand and they disappeared into a bedroom.
Barry led Lance to the bed and striped off his white shirt. His skin was warm with new blood and he had not given blood for years so he was a little exiting for him. He laid back on the bed as lance pushed him back and laid on top of him,
Lance’s mouth kissing the man’s neck before biting into the perfect skin. The taste was like nothing he had ever tasted before, and it made him so energized and stimulated that he grasped the man tighter and put more force behind his lips. Small pleasured sounds escaped his lips but not a single drop of blood found it’s way out.
Barry too found this experience very pleasing, his veins ached but in a good way, the chemical’s in Lance’s saliva making him tingle and breath heavily.

Mallory was surprised and saddened by Lance's response. He made a soft, anguished sound when Lance stood and made it clear that he could not accept Mallory's behavior. He cast his eyes down as Lance left the room with Barry. He heard the bedroom door close and rapidly blinked away unexpected moisture in his eyes. Mallory pressed a fist to his mouth and bit down hard on the knuckles, using the sharp pain to focus his mind. Would he really fall apart at just this? He held his hand in front of him, gazing impassively at the small drops of blood there. Better blood than tears. The bright red drops reminded him of Barry locked away in a room alone with Lance. He still recalled vividly what it had been like to feed from Lance. The ache growing in him, Lance's words making the act something as erotic as it was satisfying. Would Barry do the same? Would Lance seduce him instead? Mallory tried to clear his thoughts, his tongue idly licking his hand clean.
This was too much... He could not take sitting there with his fear, his jealousy and his hurt at Lance's rebuke. He would not intrude on the other men; he could not bear to violate Lance's trust. And just as importantly, he did not really wish to confirm his suspicions. So instead Mallory rose to his feet and swiftly left the apartment. His exit from the building was barely short of a run. He did not know the streets of New York, but he cared not so long as they could swallow him as completely as the streets of Tamatha. He just needed to be alone and far from the source of his inner turmoil.

Lance was full and happy within very little time. He sighed and laid back on the bed smiling. "Thanks man." He patted the man's belly then sat up and moved towards the door. He still had to make sure that Mall was feed and happy.
Barry closed his eyes and laid back for a minute before standing on his own and going out into the living room. "Where's..." He started only to see a hurried look on Lance's face. He swore loudly and grabbed his wallet before rushing to the door after Lance.
"He's going to get him self killed! " Lance was horribly worried; he darted down the hall, only to have to run back to the room to get his boots. Once fully clothed he ran out of the apartment down the stairs and out of the building.
"What's wrong with this one?" Barry asked a little worried but mostly cool. He followed Lance and kept an eye out for the boy.

New York City at night was a strange place that Mallory was quickly realizing he did not understand at all. Where Tamatha would be quiet, dark and near deserted at this hour, these streets were still alive with activity and artificial light spread as garishly as the makeup on the whores Mallory passed. He shoved his hands in his pockets, shoulders hunched and making eye contact with no one. Least of all the aforementioned whores who seemed to watch him knowingly. Mallory told himself that was only his imagination. What could they possibly know about him at a glance? There was no peace to be had out here, Mallory thought with a long suffering sigh. But it was enough to leave that apartment, at least for a time.
Mallory made no turns, though he kept an eye on street signs. He did not want to get lost in an unfamiliar place. What if he did and Lance never found him? He had to keep track of his path and return on his own. Mallory felt a bit calmer when a tingle at the base of his skull alerted him to a vampire near. His muscles tensed and he turned the next corner and began to run. It was a bit more difficult now that he had to actually dodge other bodies, so Mallory was not yet even halfway down the block before he realized he was being ridiculous. Why was he running away from Lance? If Lance was here, then he was no longer feeding and Mallory no longer needed to be away.
Ignoring a few puzzled glances sent his way, Mallory turned back the way he came and calmly walked to meet Lance. At least he appeared calm on the surface. He realized his fingers were slightly clenched and he forced them to relax.

Lance spotted the boy walking towards him and sped up embracing him roughly and pressing his small body against his own. He wrapped his arms around him and held him close just happy to have found him before anything bad happened. "Gods Mal, Why did you do that?! You can't just walk out if you don't know the area, specially here, and at night, Sweetly.... " He went back to just hugging him and swaying gently.
Barry caught up with them and stood a few yards back, leaning against a building and watching the people walk past. He had no mind for such games, the child was acting very foolish and he was surprised that Lance even wanted to keep him after that display.

Mallory was very much surprised by how frightened Lance seemed and how relieved he was. Mallory felt a pang of guilt, but he was becoming too tired to react as strongly as he may have otherwise. Instead his shoulders slumped and he leaned against Lance, hands flat against his chest. "Je suis vraiment désolé, mon amour. I am sorry; I swear I did not mean to worry you. I just needed a moment... I..." What could he say? Lance did not understand his feelings, the torment of his emotions. Mallory looked down, unable to meet Lance's eyes for a moment. Then he finally looked up, changing the subject with a confused expression. "But I do not understand. I was careful to note what direction I took and how far I walked. What has you so worried, my love? Désolé, regrette. Please do not be upset. I will... I will stay put for now on." He concedes softly, though it hurts him to say. He would never break his word to Lance, and so he was obligated to remain within the apartment. No matter how uncomfortable it became.

"I was worried that you would get lost and I would not find you, I was worried that you would get taken from me, I was worried that you had run away and would never return," He sighed and leaned back against the building hold the boy close. Lance was sleepy and his high was steadily dropping, "I think it's time we get back, " He yawned loudly and took the boy's hand in his walking back towards the apartment. "Why did you leave with out telling me?" He asked a worried twinge in his voice.
Barry followed But stayed far enough behind so that he would not have to be part of the conversation. He did not like it when Lance got all emotional so he tried to stay out of such matters.
