Tokeru smiled. "It's fine, it has been over two hours anyway. I should have woken up earlier, but I was too comfortable with you lying beside me."
He held her closely and hugged her. "Dreams can't hurt you, neither can visions. I've learned that in my life. Unless if you are high, then they can hurt you. You can see some pretty freaky stuff if you get high, or so I have been told by some of the "younger" stalkers."

"I-I know," she said, regaining her composure, "they can't hurt you. And I certainly hope that you know from tales and not from experience. As for sleeping well, I'm glad you did, I managed to as well, until now of course." It was then that she rolled around so that both their chests were touching and took his lips with her own. Kissing him tenderly, caringly.

Tokeru kissed her deeply as well. It was then that he heard breathing, heavy breathing. he looked at the foot of the bed, and saw Savage's head peering over the bed. He jumped instinctively. Twitching a bit, then relaxing himself.
"Holy crap Savage. You scared the hell out of me. Well my little temptress, it appears we have a visitor."

Edith laughed as Tokeru jumped, holding him closely to her, catching him as he jumped. "Wow," Edith said with an evil grin that showed off her pearly whites, "I did not know that you could be scared that easily. See, maybe I'm not the only one who's hunter abilities should be questionable." She smirked, pecked him on the cheek then said hi to Savage.

"Hey" he said with mock outrage. "That thing is huge. His head is like the same size as my torse. I'm not afraid of vampires or lycans, but geez like. He's probably twice as dangerous as any lycan. Maybe even three or four times."
He looked in a side drawer for a second, then took out a fake steak. "Knew i had one of these hidden somewhere." He threw it out into the hallway, with savage bounding right after.
"Geez, huge cat. Scares the crap outta me like that. Sneaking up on me, one of these days he's gonna come crawl up beside me, and that'll be even freakier. He ways more than 800 lbs. I mean like seriously, that cat would break the bed."
Deciding he'd had enough of Edith ridiculing him, even if it was in jest, he placed his hands behind her head, and kissed her.

Edith up and chortled heartily at Tokeru's reasoning for being afraid of his own tiger. "Why," she asked with amusement, "does it always seem that we fear what is bigger than us and what we can see? And yet at other times we fear what we cannot see?"
"Who the hell," Edith asked, examining the steak, "carries a fake steak around or stores one in their drawer? Man, you're just equipped for anything here aren't you? And yet you don't know your own room. And yes, breaking the bed would be a not-so-good thing."
As Tokeru kissed her, her eyes fell shut and she kissed him back with unbelievable intensity. They were both still in their pjs with the bed covers in a heap from both of them jumping but everything was all good.

Tokeru was once again at peace, and hoped fervently that Hope was not going to reappear from her sleep. Then again, who knew how long she had been sleeping infront of the tv for.
He pressed his body against Edith's, and kissed her back all the harder.

Edith loved how Tokeru had brought himself closer to her and she had done the same. She could not help but mentally laugh at his flanel pajama bottoms and how she had a pair of them as well. Her eyes remained closed, kissing him with a desperateness, with much passion. This man was definitely what kept her sane through everything that was so insane. He was the one person who seemed to be able to soothe her every time.

Tokeru stopped kissing Edith, and just held her. He was happy just being there with her, he needed nothing but to hold her, to be there with him. To feel his body against hers.
"I love you."
He didn't want to say anything at all, didn't want to ruin the moment, so he just held her.

Edith was a little surprised at first, usually it was her to break the kisses but it seemed that Tokeru had done it all by himself. He, indeed, was a Big Boy now. A favorite pun of everyone's and yet it never got old in her mind. She'd always loved it, always would. Kind of how her father always told the same damned jokes so that people had them memorized, even the order that he would rehearse them would be a breeze to recollect.
"You know," Edith said with a seductive smile that showed her fangs off, "my answer to that Angel."
As he held her, Edith had brought her own hands to his face. Gently caressing him, soothing him. She was careful and never did her hands travel or graze anything on his face that would harm him. She knew every inch of his face like she knew he loved her. Unfortunately, she did not particularly know the back of her palm so that timeless saying would not apply to her.

He raised an eyebrow, having succesfully confused himself." I really don't know why I said that. It appears my mind likes to wander alot, which is completly understandable since I don't really try to make myself stop thinking. Maybe I should though, because when i think, it appears that I only get in trouble, or hurt. Talking too. I talk way too much, well not before, but I do now. It seems that you make me talk, before I met you, I never said more than 3 sentences to a single person, and right now i'm rambling on like some evangelical pastor trying to make his flock repent to the name of god. Or is it christians that do that? Do both do that? "

"Is that so?" Edith asked Tokeru rhetorically, siphoning a laugh that threatened to escape her, that jerked her, trying to force her to free it. "I ramble too. It's kind of, well at least I think, a family-inherited trait. I think my dad's the worst. He'll tell a whole bunch of the same stories, each time coming up with some point that is just a different way of saying something that he has said previously. And my mother will ramble when she is angry or when she's telling us to do s**t. I haven't seen William ramble much, but I am absolutely positive that he has before, at least once. And then there's me, well I ramble when I explain, which is what I'm doing right now. I also ramble when I b***h but I'm not bitching right now."

Edith laughed at Tokeru's careless mistake and at how childish he sounded and looked as he pointed and exclaimed about the ceiling. "Yes," she said, patting his head playfully, "your ceiling is white and I am clear. Know why?" She zipped from the bed to the doorway with an evil grin. "Because I'm not there anymore! Ha!" She had gotten up to go check up on Kyley, make sure the kiddo was alright and if Tokeru wanted to, he could have time to get dressed if he did not want her peeking.

Tokeru clapped childishly. "Again, again."
He laughed at his own stupidity. "Oh wow, maybe i should sleep abit more, my brain seems to not have recovered yet. He sat up and placed his hand on the bed, "You know, i'm sure Kyley is fine. You could stay here longer if you want."
Tokeru grinned suggestively.
