Vlad looks down, "Oh, right you told me that. You just looked like you were falling asleep. I guess it's just being relaxed. For having your legs broken you're taking this well." He strolls through the castle reaching her room, "Here even if you don't need to sleep you must need to at least relax right. I'll have the healers come and tend to you."

Lieing down on her bed Marie held onto Vlad's hand. "Please don't leave?" She asked with her eyes locking into his. "I don't want to be alone right now." Marie admitted.

Vlad looks back at Marie, holding her hand back, his voice sounds nervous and wavering, "Marie I...I want to stay. But.. but I don't know if I should."

With a soft breath Marie replied, "Why? What will you lose by staying with me for a while?" She tightened her grip on his hand so she didn't have to let go.

Vlad looks down, "Well you stayed at my side. It's the least I could do. I'll stay. So can I do anything to help?"

Smiling at his choice to stay with her Marie said, "There's not too much I need. My legs can heal themselves." Looking at Vlad then outside and back at his face Marie said, "I just.....I just can't..be alone. I.....I don't...want to be....alone again." Struggling to say these words she tried not to look away from him.

Vlad looks down back at Marie, "I understand. It must be hard. Not only cause of the whole vampire thing but being ageless it must be hard to get close to anyone. Knowing that father time will eventually take everyone away from you."

Marie began to shed a few tears and she softly shook her head, "No, no Vlad tha's not what I meant." Marie just stared into his eyes and refused to look away from them.

With her heart pounding and taking in a deep breath into what felt and looked like a fragile body, she anwsered, "I..don't want you to leave me." Her voice was frail and rapsy as she softly whispered to Vlad, "I can't lose you again."

Still crying Marie softly pushes her face against Vlad's hand. "Do you promise?" She asked.

Smiling Marie sighs and said, "Thank you." Two subtle cracks come from Marie's legs. "See I told you they would heal on their own." She smiled.
