@ Z - a hospital or medic unit probably wouldn't care a weapon since its usage would be to recover and transport the wounded

But what about the Geneva convention!?
I have a right to protect myself and my patients! Nurses in the military get a hand gun (when they're deployed..o.0 I think...).
Like...it clearly wouldn't be a sniper rifle or something but a minor little lazer thing or a big old force field would be .....NICE.

Well let us remember here that in the Gundam time-lines we have people who have dropped huge space colonies on Earth-bound cities, have used poison gas on space colonies, Fired massive beam weapons at colonies, dropped asteroids on cities, used robotic assassins to murder whole colonies so they can be recolonised. We are not talking about people who are known for their ethical and moral fiber.

No, they would probably let you have crappy titanium armor and only be armed with a beam scatter gun.

nah the Geneva convention states that you can not shoot enemy troops that have a red cross or are retrieving wounded soldiers

If you guys will remember none of the combatants in Gundam signed the Geneva Convention.
