"Yes, you have a point in regards to darkness," Mordranna conceded. "I'd always thought that, once I threw in with Skywalker and crew, I'd be free of my past. Cutting the ties that bind and all that," She then shook her head. "Yes, we should find this Serpent of yours. You think she's aboard?" Pondering the issue she brought up, she queried, "Well, I guess there's probably not a lot you can tell me of Serpent, yes?" After a pause, she added, "Or, would you rather discuss other things?"

Cale looked up from his book just in time to get a warning flash from his dashboard. something was coming out of hyperspace. Cale tabbed teh ship board comn. "Ok, Heads up, somethings coming. get to your guns. Cambot come up here and plug in." The Outlaw watched as the prey came out of hyperspace and he gave it a quick scan. the thing was 90 meteres long, a pretty big transport. Cale recognized it as a Feddie allied Gallofree GR-75 medium transport. Cambot plugged in as Cale grinned triumphantly. "Something on your mind sir?" Cambot asked as he started warming the systems up from silent running. "This is perfect. that damn thing is pirate bait. and not an escort in sight! Run up the Black Flag and Fire a warning shot across her bow!" The Black Flag, known also as Code Black Hole was the transponder mask that hid the pirate ship's true identity from scanners. The Auric Runner, Civilian transport was no more. To all who scanned her she was now the Princess Red, Pirate sloop. The Princess Red thundered forward and her heavy cannons flashed infront of the cockpit module of the transport. Cale snatched up the Comn and in an accented voice, addressed the transport. "Ahoy there Transport. This be Rake Dulnas, Captain o' the Princess Red speaken. ye best power down yer engines, guns and shields or we'll blast ye outta the skys. Cooperate, and we'll show Mercy. Resist, and I'll feed ya to me Mynocks!" Cale awaited a response. soon the freighter responded. "Captain Dulnas, this is the Transport. We don't want any trouble. just want to get to Genoisis in one Piece." "aye then. it be agreed. I'll reign in me blood thirsty Crew and spare yer lives. But In exchange, I'll be wanting ta fill me holds with yer best loot. Ye best roll out tha Red Carpet fer me there lad. we be coming aboard." Cale shut off the comn and looked at Cambot with a grin. "What was that all about?" Cambot asked as he drifted the ship closer to the transport. "ShockBall, Theres a bit of theater in the Pirate trade. you can't just go out and blast up every prize you come across and call yourself a pirate. you gotta play the Part." Cale unbuckled himself from the seat and got up to head into the back. "Now lock her up with that transport and keep an eye out for trouble. I got to get me and Rak into our costumes."

" I only know she's a good assassin, and if Cajin isn't the madman, it can only be Serpent. Call it a hunch. " Angel said, as she looked around some more, trying to think. " I don't know how she'll act though if we find her, nor how we should deal with her. If she figures out we're working together, she might tell Phoenix, and he'll think I'm betraying him. I have no idea how to deal with this... You? " She hoped Mordranna could come up with something.

" Any sighs of Drako? " Novara tapped his fingers.
" No sir. The battle is to much for the sencers. "

Drako watched as he passed by the many ships fighting. His cloak was at full power. He slipped passed them with ease. A Federation fighter passed in front of PR1M3. Drako flexed his force power and crushed the front of the fighter. The fighter not knowing what happend pulled back and flew into a Republic fighter.
" HA HA HA HAA!! This will be fun.....fun indeed. "
PR1M3 flew down and flew in and out of traffic.
" There. " Drako pointed and PR1M3 landed. Drako walked out and looked around, Drake right behind him.
" You smell that Drake?......Panic.....Ha ha ha ha haa....." The two walked off to find Drakos one target.

The small crew of the Gallofree watched anxiously from the crew module as the YZ transport docked alongside their hold airlock. though the enemy ship was only about two thirds the length of the gallofree, its weapon systems far outclassed any defense the transport could mount. and with only a crew of six, They doubted they could handle the battle hardened buccaneers that were probably streaming aboard. They weren't about to risk their lives over cargo. They simply locked themselves up in the command pod and decided to let the pirates help themselves.
down below, the Airlock opened witha hiss of transfered air. Out stepped, Cale and Raklar, their garb festooned with rags and spare blasters and knifes as befiting space pirates. their weapons at the ready they slowly scanned the massive hold of the transport. for five minutes nothing happened. Cale sighed ans holstered his pistol. "Figures. we get all dressed up and no one's even gonna meet us. ah well. Rak, start loading stuff up. Im gonna see if they got a hand truck down here." "aye captain." the Repiloid grunted as he started hauling crates over to their ship.
after an hour and a half of cargo plundering, they managed to fill the holds of the Red. The Gallofree's crew would hardly feel the loss. afterall, with 19,000 tons of cargo sitting around, a hundred tons or two wouldnt be missed much. The Princess Red disconnected from the ship and made a jump to hyperspace to find a place to hide. Down in the hold Cale took stock of what they had grabbed, noting it down on his datapad as he opened crates and barrels to examine the contents. "Great." he muttered. "we got about two hundred tons of war material. nothing really valuable at all." "well what do you expect on a gallofree?" a voice behind him said. Turning, Cale saw Alinn standing in the doorway."Now, how much is my cut?" she said as she walked into the hold. "Its not really worth dividing up." Cale said in a disapointed tone. "Most of this stuff we should cache and use ourselves when we need it: MREs, fuel, water, and spare parts. what we could sell are...about 16 tons of blaster powerpacks and a couple AAT engines Rak found somewhere. we got some raw mats too but we wouldn't get much. now we have to find a market that's willing to buy this crap." he sighed irritably and looked at the girl. "we're going to have to go back to Nal Hutta. But don't worry. I have a plan..."

"Neb, we seem to have picked up one of them fancy guns," Gunny stated, picking off more and more vulture droids, as the Defender weaved though the mess of blasterfire and explosions.
"Why are you telling me this, Gunny? You're the gunner..." Neb stated as the forward guns blasted a howlrunner out of the sky.
"He doesn't want to get hit though." Gunny retorted.
"Come on Neb, just pull one of your tricks out for this guy and finish this." Hudson snorted, somewhat irritated at the constant whining of fighters from Gunny. In his mind, he didn't care. The Kapella's shields were strong, she was fast, and the guns installed shot blasterbolts faster than a tauntaun who just picked up the scent of a wampa.
"Fine. But don't go to stage four countermeasures until later. Prepare for forced breaking."
With that, Neb quite literally, put the Kapella in reverse. While any fighter that couldn't get out of the way would create quite a pain in the rear, the double backed shields would take most of the brunt. The engine vents opened up, creating an instant change in direction, which like many of the Kapella's movements, did not ever retain the illusion of grace. The ship lurched, as various vulture droids flew by, one scraping a wing and going out of control. The guns trained in on the defender however, but the fighter was lickety quick, and despite getting hit, the shields on the defender were much stronger than the four hits that were scored on it.
Once again, the kapella lurched forward. The engines, though strong, still retained the feature of total influid grace, as Neb dived, picking up several howlrunners and interceptors. Once again, fighters were on his tail, as Neb pulled up into the hangarbay of an ISD, and back down again, leading all but two interceptors to crash into the hangar, disrupting the crews there working.
"They're beginning the ground assault." Hudson finally told them. "They can't keep up the invisibility routine, but we can't keep up with the numbers. Too much fire out there."
"Don't worry, the army will have enough to back them up for now." Neb stated this, while noting an unusual ship, much like the looks of slave I, pass in front of them. "Now, we can worry. It seems we have much more company in our midst. Let us hope the beast isn't hungry for soldiers, and is here for another meal."

Mordranna shook her head. "I haven't considered that point. You probably wish to save your men here. We agree on at least that, it seems." She then looked to Cajin. "As soon as he wakes up, we're going to have to get off the ship, and then, I'll take him to the Hope Eagle to get treated." She then regarded her own lightsaber, which was dormant at this time. "Of course, it seems we're on the same page. I don't wish to fight you either. But, if this Serpent of yours shows up, we'd best make it believeable," She then shook her head. "I wish to get off of this ghost ship as soon as possible,"

The Phoenix made planet fall a few hours later. Cale and Alinn emerged from the ship and locked it up. Cale was wearing his standard disquise, while Alinn had done her dark hair in a pony tail and sported one of Cale's jackets. Cale slid his shades up and checked his pistol. "Ok babe, we're in a hostile port now. but this is the only place where we can sell off the military Hardware we aquired. all we need to do is find the right type of buyer and arange a drop off." Alin shrugged and placed her hands in the pockets of her jacket. "Um, am I going to get a pistol too? or will I just have o mace everyone who shoots at me." Cale shrugged and handed her an unmodified DL-18. she frowned at the weapon and looked to Cale. "this is all I get? a puny DL-18?" Cale glanced at his own pistol then to her. "whats wrong with it?" "It has no stopping power compared to a heavy pistol." she argued. "almost everyone else uses a heavier gun." Cale shrugged. "Im not everyone else. besides, you can drop someone just fine with a DL-18. You just need to aim." Cale rubbed his chin and eyed her suspiciously."You sure know alot about the outlaw life for a college girl. Im starting to be mighty suspicious of that story you fed me in the changing room the other day." he shrugged and headed for the docking bay exit. Alinn glared at Cale's back and slid the blaster into the wasteband of her pants. "Moron." she muttered as she followed him out.

Nal Hutta. A pit of filth, fat and friendly-fire. A place only the lowest gangster scum reside. They feast on scum, throive on it. The planet was a dump. And Allon was shopping in it.
"How much longer to the Hutt, master?" , said Mag, covered under his rags, so no lowlife tries to buy him.
"We're going shopping, first. This street merchant may be of use."
They approached a toydarian, bearing a jolly look on his face.
"Ah, come in! Welcome to Gopo's shop! Take a look around! I got everything you need, eh. Heh, heh, heh."
"Hello, Gopo." He said in a hearty tone. "We are currently going on a dangerous mission, therefore we shall require weapons. Good weapons."
"Ah, the good ones are always the best ones, eh? But, eh...Costs money though. And look at thee! Thee look like thee were dressed by banthas, eh? How thee gonna pay for this?"
Allon frowned and looked at Gopo square in the eye. "You will give us free wares. No questions asked."
Gopo breathed heavily and hesitated. "What're thee doing? I...uh...can go tell the hutts about this!"
"No. You wont."
"Okay. Take all the weapons you want."
As they walked out, Mag, carrying a bag back to the ship, asked Allon, "Was that a jedi mind trick, master? They don't work on toydarians. Explain, please."
"Jedi mind trick? Allon eye trick! I have a very powerful eye. Has the powers of intimidation. But, that's just a superstition of mine. Always works, though!"
They put the wares back in the ship and suited up, and they set out to find their gasbag Hutt.

" I dunno now... I think the crew's pretty much all dead here by now. I can't feel the life of anything through the Force except 1 person, and that would have to be Serpent. Then again, I haven't mastered the Force that much, so I may just be too inexperienced to feel things strongly enough. " Angel said, then got an idea. " R1, see if you can get into all the cameras of the ship. " After a few moments, R1 began uploading the camera feeds into the bridge's main view screen. All there was to see was dead bodies and battle scarred walls where blaster shots burned into them. " Is that all of them? " < Yes, but there are more camera locations, though they have been destroyed. Probability of any survivors is slim. I suggest we leave now. I have the ship slowly drifting on a collision course with an asteroid some ways off. It will make impact in approxiamately 10 days, but during that time, it will be out of harm's way as far as this battle is concerned. > Angel then turned to Mordranna. " What do you think? Should we go ahead and leave now, or look to make sure if anyone else survived? "

Imperius continued pursuit, pausing only to spray more laserfire at the Kapella. They were pulling all sorts of weird tricks now, buit with the Force guiding him, he was able to continue with little damage to his fighter.

Mordranna sighed. "It's just not in my blood to leave anyone behind," She rested the palm of her free hand on her chin, weighing her now limited options. "I guess using the intercom is out of the question, lest your Serpent friend takes an interest." She then snapped her fingers. "I can hail the Hope Eagle to pick up any life pods, unless you'd rather the FSL pick them up?" She then turned her attention to R1. "Can you tell me which locations have cameras disabled? If so, we can scout those, and try to get the survivors, if any, off the ship." "Also, we should probably split up, lest Serpent takes an interest in us." Of course, Mordranna felt that they should work together, but the risks seemed too great. And, she understood where Angel was coming from, as she could no sooner betray Sami, just as Angel couldn't betray Phoenix. Of course, logically, looking for survivors was probably a futile gesture. But still, emotionally, Mordranna couldn't leave until she was certain, one way or another. And, of course, there was also the matter of Cajin. Whether or not he was responsible for the slaughter aboard the ship, she still felt obligated to get him to safety, as well.

Ali'anna finished slaying more crewmen in the last section of the ship with pods. She engaged all but one, sending them scattered in different directions, hurtling through violent space. Even the emergency power was out here, so she had to manually release each pod. When she came to the last one she gathered some of the crewmembers' bodies and their weapons and clambered inside, ejecting from the ship and falling swiftly to Coruscant below.

" I sense a faint darkness, and it seems to be vanishing... " Angel said. " I take it that means Serpent just left, most likely in an escape pod. I believe it's safe now if we want to work together, but we'll cover the ship faster if we split up. Give R1 a com frequency you'll pick up. He'll stay here hooked up and tell us through our coms which ways to go to the areas without working cameras, won't you, R1? " < Of course. Oh, I found an interesting Captain's log entry as well. ' He's unstoppable! All my men are getting slaughtered! If I have to go down with my ship, I'll at least let the others know who this vi--- ' It cuts off there, but I assume he was about to make the person's face appear on some screen and broadcast the image. My guess is at that moment, the attacker had slain him. > Angel gave a somewhat shocked expression, though she wasn't too suprised, considering things. " He? ... I dunno... It still could've been Serpent and the captain not able to tell, but... I dunno... Well, better not dwell on this, let's look for survivors. Oh, and I suppose your forces are the better ones to call. The Federation will most likely eliminate them for failure if I called them. "
