 Congratulations Cerbera!! I know that you'll do a great job as quidditch captain! Sadly, I won't be trying out (I don't have the time to devote to it) but I hope that everyone who can will! I'll be on the sidelines with my eagle hat on! smile
I'm very proud of being a member of the house that's working so well as a team! smile
On another note: one the first page of our common room thread we have a post where we are going to put together the Ravenclaw icons that we can find so they're compiled (for our use and potential Ravenclaw quilts). So feel free to PM LadyHealingHands or myself with the icons so that we can post them!

Eh, I'm not much of an icon-maker. But I love quilts. So, don't forget to include Luna no matter what! And this is a bit of a side comment, but Orna, how much gold do you have? And how do you get that much?

You don't have to make them - you can find them! smile I'm not much of an icon maker either, but I have found quite a few adorable icons through the internet.
Right now, I have about 24K. I was doing a lot of Jigsaw but it isn't working for me right now - so it's through posting that I get my gold. I don't vend that much either, although sometimes I'll sell a letter or two if I'm short on gold. Why do you ask?

Simply because you seem to have so much gold. I only have 18k right now and I'm holding onto 5 OMG boxes, waiting for the price to hit 13,000...Jigsaw takes too long to do for me and it's not "fast" enough. So yea, I get gold by posting mainly. I used to do some merchanting with Fai Coats (279 transactions, *gasp*) Also, you have so many different items for your avatar, so...yea, I'm kind of jealous at the same time.

Well, I've been around since 04 - so I've had plenty of time to collect things. I used to vend a bit (I've earned over 300K with that) but I stopped doing that because I became more of an 'item whore' and I only sell things that I get multiples of. Because of that, I have a LOT of items and, technically, I'm worth quite a bit.
Just give it time though and be smart about what you invest in. MC have always been a pretty good investment and the Cash Shop could be a good one as well. I don't always have gold though, more items than gold. smile
I don't think that there is anything that says you can't read those posts - I know that I've looked over a few of them myself. smile

ivysaurusrex Haha, same here, Cerebra. I'll do the try-outs once it's set up! biggrin And I'm sure we'll make those 15 points back! We can do it! :3 I. Love. Edward. Cullen. mrgreen Jacob sounds like an amazing friend, but I LOVE EDWARD CULLEN! xp -hops up and down- Breaking Dawn is coming out in August! (I can't wait surprised ) And the movie is coming out in December! OH MY GOSH! =P Atonement was really good whee Edward Cullen is the vampire dude who goes out with that one girl right? And Jacob's the werewolf who's from that one tribe or something who has a crush on the girl or something like that, right? And then they are suspicious of each other and at one point, Jacob they fight, right? And then they work together? *has no clue* I guess I have to read it. I skimmed it...^^

Wait a minute twilight the movie is coming out in december! Wow....can I say OMG! heart I absolutely love the twilight series...my friend actually recommended it for me. Who's going to act in it?? Does anyone know? I am totally going to tryout for quidditch.

Yes, it sounds right. I recognize the two names, the title is the same, and the overall plot is similar, so it probably is. They should put here on Gaia, so I don't need to go to the movies, but I hope it's actually worth the trip, especially 'cause most movies nowadays aren't as good as movies just 3 (random number) years ago.

I know the movies are so expensive now a days! It costs 8 dollars for the matinee. At least its not $14 like in japan. I'm dissapointed with the person they cast for Isabella...she just doesn't look like I thought she would look. Cedric is going to be Edward! Now that I'm totally excited about. I really want to go see Juno!

I have no idea who Juno is...Haha...Cedric looks really...*coughhotcough* in the Harry Potter movies. I also imagined Isabella with dark brown hair, brown eyes (although I hoped they were green or blue), around 5 foot, 6 inches. But that's just me and my imagination...They should continue making Harry Potter movies beyond just the Deathly Hallows...
Do you think I can pull off 20 more posts before I sleep? I want to be 5th Year for two reasons. I think the number four is very...ugly and because culturally speaking, four is considered really unlucky and I guess superstition is contagious (just a little).

I have a few posts to be a 5th year also...why is 4 an unlucky number? I'm not very superstitious. Juno is a move in the theaters about a pregnant high schooler..yeah..its supposed to be really funny. Cedric is hot! I was so sad when he died.
