movie_fanatic "Well, I'm sure you two will figure something out. After all..maybe she'll want to get back with you or something" She looked away as she said the last part. She was sad about the thought of Boone going away from her..but she still wasn't sure if there was something between herself and Boone. She liked him, liked him alot, but she wasn't sure of his feelings for her. Boone quickly shook his head. "I hope not. I've been following her around like a puppy for far too long. I don't want her back... not anymore." After saying this, Boone reached over to take Claire's hand.

Claire smiled and looked at Boone. She wrapped her fingers around his and sighed abit.
"This is not official anyways. I mean, maybe she isn't pregnant"

Kiyo_Michan *Jack Paused for a moment* Nausea...huh? Did she say anything else to you? *Jack thinks for a moment of all the things that could possibly be causeing the nausea* I'll go talk to her. Do you know where she might be? ((Thanks for the update!))
She followed Jack as he headed off towards the beach to find Shannon. Sun wondered whether Shannon would be upset because she had gone to Jack. She still carried the coconut half filled with the chamomile infusion. They walked in silence until they reached the water's edge. The two of them looked around for Shannon and spotted her a ways down the beach with Sayid, just like Sun had predicted. Shannon had her head in her hands and looked upset. Sun and Jack slowly made their way over to where the couple was sitting...

Sawyer was in a familiar place, leaned up against a tree, in a familiar situation, reading another book. He never had been much on reading but why not? Nothing better to do here. He glanced up from the book, raising an eyebrow inquisitivly. "Damn idiots...All of 'em" He mumbled quietly to himslef as he returned to his reading.

"I have to go...it looks like Jack has found us instead. Apparently news of your condition spread quickly..." Sayid smiled softly and ran his fingers through her tangled hair.
"My condition?" She echoed, opening one eye a crack. Sayid nodded and then leaned down to press a kiss to her lips.
"I have something I need to do...be honest with him and do not downplay anything."
"Alright father."
"Shush...don't call me that. I am only concerned for you." With that said he stood, brushing the sand from his pants. He smiled politely in Jack and Sun's direction and then disappeared quickly from sight.

Sun and Jack approached Shannon, now alone. Sayid had walked away into the forest. Shannon seemed to shift uncomfortably at their arrival. She smiled at them and Sun smiled back. They reached the spot which she was sitting at and sat down on either side of her. Sun stretched out her arm and handed the coconut half with the solution in it to Shannon, who accepted it gratefully.
"Here is the tea I've made for you, it should help with the nausea. I found Jack and suggested that he might want to take a look at you. I know it is not any of my business but I was just concerned about you..." Sun trailed off.
She looked away from Shannon, blushing. It was the truth, though.

Shannon drank deeply from the coconut before she spoke. The tea was calming and she looked up and smiled. "It's okay...so where do you guys want to start?"

Sun stepped back and watch the two as they began a fairly intimate discussion. Jack was being the consummate professional but Sun could see that Shannon was still uncomfortable. Maybe she really shouldn't have gotten involved... Oh, well, it was too late to change anything now. Sun stood around awkwardly. She decided to hang around just in case Shannon needed anything. Sun also knew at the back of her mind that it was probably more comfortable for Shannon having her there. Sun knew that if it was her in Shannon's place, she would have been grateful for another woman's presence. There was just something about Jack that was a little... overbearing... sometimes. Sun derailed that train of thought before she read too much between the lines. Instead she just turned to face the ocean and watched the waves flow in and out with the tide...
((glares at writers with Meri and movie_fanatic...damn the powers that be!))
