A woman stepped into the bar. Her brown hair was pulled up into a tight bun and she was wearing a tacky beige business suit. Beside her was a floating legal pad that seemed to be taking its own notes as she continued to walk in. "Excuse me, miss." She said, resting her hands on the bartop. "Are you the owner of this establishment?"

"Of course...but...you can't walk around hurting..." She pressed the vile into his hand, telling him to drink it, then turned to the woman. "Uh...no, Tomo is...can I help you?"

Her voice was nasal and obnoxious. She adjusted her horn-rimmed glasses and glanced over at the legal pad, "Yes, we noticed some illegal genie activity, here. You wouldn't happen to know anything about it, would you?"

*jake held the vile close to his chest the looked to the voice and stepped back a few paces then swallowed and drank what was in the vile and sat down quite suddenly flexing his fingers as though they were claws*

The woman had spoken to fast for Trina to comprehend. She looked confused, and twisted her hand. "Um...sorry?"

Trina glanced at Jake. He was more important than some woman at the moment. "Are you alright? That should help you, will heal you..."

Trina looked down at him, biting her lip softly. "Goodness....I wish you might have said something, but I ;m glad you feel better." She smiled. "Did you want something to eat or drink."

"Jay-nay?" Trina said, turning to see the woman again. "Per-mit?" She shook her head. "I'm sorry, I cannot help you..." She thought of how strange Bai had been acting, and how odd the forest had seemed. But she did not say these things.

She explained, "Do you know anything about it?" *jake giggled* so now even genies have to have a permit? *he giggled again trying hard not too* first this, now what a tail permit too? *he wagged his own fox tail the first time in weeks his eyes scanned the muffin and thought how odd the trees looked* I'm no genie......Tomo said no using magic to some one and so I won't use it here.....hes too nice to get on his bad side...might *he hiccuped from happiness* be sold.

The woman nodded to her legal pad, which began to scribble furiously. "Right, thank you for your input miss...?" She trailed off, hoping Trina would supply her with her full name.

TyKat12 Trina smiled at Jake, glad to see some one around here was happy. *jake felt her gaze on him when he was blind he had gotten sensitive to that kind of thing and looked at her not really smiling but "grinning" if you will with no teeth*

Trina stuttered. "Uh...why are you writing that down?" She said, starting to feel nervous. What if she had made a mistake? "Trina...my name is Trina...."
