"Well at home there were these animals... we called them Dik d**k and they where imune to fire, so when we caught one its hide was saved for fire proof materials. Is there anythign like that around here?"
Eliot looked at warren out of the corner of her eye. What was with him anyways? He seemed so different lately...

Aella shrugged as they approached the manor. "I can't say of any creature that I know of, unfortunatly." There were two gaurds outside the door, each carrying a spear and looking like they had only just been issued their job statments. Aella looked at them. "Hi there. OI am Aella Whirlwind, this is Eliot, Warren, Warhammer, and Cedric. I tihnk we may be expected."
One gard nodded, leaving the way open for them.
Warren just kind of, tagged along.

Warhammer walked up to the door, and noted that he was much to big to entre. "Alas, I must remain behind." He said rather softly.
"It would be rude for all of us to go in, and leave Warhammer behind. I'll stay here and keep his company."

Elio'ts ears wilted a little. "oh..."
what in the world was she going to do then? She was a hunter, not a guard... she didn't even know what the enemy was supposed to smell like! How could she protect the Oracle?
She crinkled her eyes as she passed the gaurds, her easiest way to smile when she had her mask on, and looked around as they walked in.
At least I cna get to know the surroundings I suppose... good thing its not as confusing as Roark's place.

A girl dressed in a starch white boudice and black skirt met them as they came in. She bowed and offered to take them out of the enterroom. She did not wait for an answer as she turned and guided the way in.
After passing a few halls and what not, the girl showed them to a drawing room where they were all ushered inside.
Meilikki was already there, still in her balck dress, strumming choreds on a hard. She paused and stood as they came in, gave a hug to both Aella and Eliot as they entered. "Good day. ladies. And welcome to my new home."

Wait, she'd fooled him? Well chalk one up to her, she'd never done that before. Celebration came to a pause though when he returned and made motions towards leaving. "What are you doing? I'm going to need-Sevilin!" Nope, not thrilled at all. But she wasn't silly enough to fight him enough to get him to put her down because she just wouldn't make it. She knew it and so did he and that would leave her passed out in the dirt. Not a fun place to be. At the very least he'd grabbed her clothes. "Alright fine, but don't expect me to let you do this every time...." Wrapping her arms around his neck she tucked her head against his shoulder and yawned again. "You're not going to put me down till we're back, are you?"

Meilikki smiled, but it looked a little sad. "I am doing alright, thank you Eliot. I am just taking a long time in adjusting the amount of people who are around me now." She gestured to the many chairs around the room.
Aella sat, "I have a message from Taratheil."
"Oh?"
"He syas 'yar'."
"You are blushing."
She cleared her throat. "Id' rather not copy the 'how' of what he said."
She raised an eyebrow, the corner of her mouth tweaking. "I see."
Moon followed up the street, and down some side ones. He was starting to smell a lot of blood, and it confused him. He thought maybe there had been some residue left on himself.
Ahead, he saw sometihng laying on the ground. The smell led him here.

Onyx heard the jets of flame, and glanced only long enough to see what was coming. reactive thought to shield him from fire with demonic energy, and he waited a second, and as head got into biting range, jump on one ran up the neck and jumped, glided over to a place where rock was shifting. a cave in..damn that thing. Anger...and he tried to blast the caved in tunnel. How dare this thing keep him from his quarry!
Malik nodded lightly.
"Good point."
A small grin at her.
"Are you sure I'm not rubbing off on you, miss strategy?"

He merely inwardly chuckled...it was kind of funny how he knew she was going to react, going to fight him wanting to take her back, but she was slipping and well, here wasn't the best place at all for her to take reverie in. It just plain wasn't. Though he said nothing at her little outburst, only made his way out of that caving system with a ferret on his shoulder and a drow in his arms, starting off in the direction of the fortress. "I wasn't planning on it, no. Though you don't look like you'd complain much."

She turned slightly narrowed eyes on him, but the look was all clearly in play. Then she put on her drama, putting her hand to her chest in that 'I feel faint' gesture she liked to play up in her joking. "Beloved elven Gods! I'm becoming like the stragetic warlord! Ner' again shall I ever have a whimsical though that bears no alterior motive! Nor shall I ever laugh with music in the sound, but only the sounds of screams as my chorus. Pray tell...what shall I ever do..." Of course breaking the mood with a giggle as always. She just couldn't help herself. "And you've been rubbing off on me for years...I'm surprised I haven't turned blue yet with all the rubbing you do do." Oh look, double meanings, how fun.

The Pyrohydra would not give up so easily, as its heads followed the movement of the Vah. Teeth jeered for flesh, and flames melted the rocks. THe body of the beast lurched out of the pit of lava, and chased after the Vah. Heat from the creature's body expanded the caves almost as quickly as a purple worm could dig them.
The tunnel beyond was empty, save for a hole in almost every direction. Signs of that cats passage went in every direction, as the sulpher prevent smell from giving the Vah a recent passage. Tracks were older than others, but many of th tracks showed that the cat frequented these tunnels.

Moonstone feel hard to knees infront of a broken and torn body, Her face was still recognizable to him, her scent strong with her blood and open inards. He stuttered, didn't know what to do kneeling in the life that had once been a very cherished friend. He coukdn't bring himself to touch her...maybe it wasn't her. Maybe...maybe she was still alive. If he moved her it would hurt....
But her eyes were gray and glassy. She wasn't breathing. He finally scooped her up in his arms, pressing her check to his his breath comming in great gulps.
His eyes darted around and all he could find was evidence of his brother.

"I'm not stupid and we both know I'm not going to last the whole way. Why fight a free ride? If you want to break your back carrying me, why should I stop you? Besides, my boots are hopelessly gunked and I don't particularly relish walking in the Underdark in bare feet. Things will try to eat my toes." She wiggled her bare toes and giggled for a moment then shifted just a little in his arms, covering her mouth to stifle a yawn once again. She could just see the outline of the Fortress in the distance when her mind finally won and pushed her into reverie, her body going slack and relaxed in his arms. But before she went she whispered softly, "Be there when I wake up Sevilin...please."

"Oh that's good to know. May of thought you were there for a moment." Just like a woman to say there was no way she was walking in icky boots, nor sans boots, in the Underdark. "Breaking my back? Hardly...if I can take a jherge's weight, I can easily take yours...not that you weigh anything to being with..."
Then he stopped in his steps at her whisper...and shook his head lightly, studying her relaxed face for a moment. Well...that kind of blew his plans for going back now didn't it? Though yes, he didn't have to comply with her request...but he had a feeling he would be for whatever reason. A shake of his head and he adjusted her in his hold before starting off back down the memorized easiest route down to the fortress.
