"Ah. I hope those two stay together." Atem said, nodding and trying to remain calm. He had run out of things to say. "Do you want to go, um, see if Ryou is up? Kawi went to see him, right? Or did she go see Rei?"

"Once of um..." ember said getting up. "letsgo see" shesaid. when passing atem she leaned over and gavehim a kiss before heading out the door.

The pharaoh grumbled in Atem's mind as he got up to follow her. Then, sneering, he added, Atem frowned and tried to ignore him.

Rei headed to a nurse. Once she got a room number she headed to rei's room but was stoped when she saw kawi kicking a vending machine. "Kawi...."
Kawi kicked it agian "It wont give me my soda!"
Ember sighed and wacked the machine. when she did the soda fell.
"thank you ember!" kawi said happly.

Ember laughed "No I just hit harder." she said heading twards rei's room.
"Oh i'll take her" Kawi said taking femi from him.

"Oh, uh, sure." Atem handed her the baby carefully. They came up to the right room and Atem knocked softly before going inside. Meanwhile, in his room, Ryou had woken up. When he heard the knock, Bakura had let go of Ryou and sat down on the chair next to the bed, managing to look calm while Ryou was still struggling to wipe off his face, which was wet with tears. Bakura glared at the intruders. "Normally when you knock, you're supposed to wait for the people inside to grant you permission to enter."

Ember shook her head "Sorry not my thing" she said. "let the other bakura out im sure he'll be happy to see his children."
Kawi nodded.

Bakura's eyes narrowed. "He isn't in the most of agreeable moods right now. I'd rather not." "Yes, well, nobody here cares what you'd rather do, Bakura. Let him out." Atem snapped, knowing how it was to not be allowed in control. "Fine. but not because you said so." Bakura said, sticking his tongue out at Atem. He turned towards Ryou. "We'll finish our discussion later." Ryou didn't look at his yami. Bakura snorted and switched out with the thief.

Kawi smiled once the theif was let out "Hey bakura we bought you two little presents to chear ya up!"
Ember who was watching rei out of nowhere said "I think she's waking up..."

Bakura was unsure as to what to pay attention to. He didn't understand what the girl said (unless Kawi's been taught the ancient language?) but did see his children. He was fine as long as the pharaoh wasn't holding one. But if Rei was waking up, he wanted to make sure she was all right. He went straight to her side.

Rei let out a low groan before her eyes fluttered open. She smiled weakly when she saw herbakura "Back in this damn hospital huh?"

Bakura smiled, out of relief. "Yeah. Hopefully not as long as last time, though." He rested his hand against her cheek. "How are you feeling? I'm sorry I didn't get help sooner, That other me took over and..."

"Other than this annoying oxygen tube up my nose I feel fine. The morphine sure does work fast." she chuckled then gringed "Ok that hurts"

Bakura didn't really know what morphine was, but was glad if it was helping Rei. "If laughing like that hurts, we'll need to stay for a while longer, yeah?"
Atem turned away to let the two have their privacy. He went to Ryou, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey..." He said softly, since Ryou wasn't looking up at him. "You going to be okay? if you'd like, I can see about getting you away from Bakura. Would you like to go see Kira? She wasn't awake when I went to see her, but she is out of the coma, as you already know." Ryou didn't say anything, and Atem tilted his head up to look at the boy. Pushing back his bangs, he saw the row of stitches and the gash beneath. "Hmm. Looks painful. At least it's nothing worse."
