As Corinne had informed Alexz, she was not going to meddle or trifle with Elyan's opinion of the coven by any means even if Alexz certainly hadn't impressed Corinne. Elyan was free to believe what he wished and free to receive help from anyone he felt suited his needs. She was here to help him if he still wished for her assistance, if not and he joined the coven then she would wish him good luck in his endeavor and move on in life. That was simply how things were. She wasn't going to make a huge deal over nothing and cause unnecessary conflict. It was a childish pursuit and a waste of time.

"I am not so certain such a place does exist ... I was confident that people would respect a grave yard of all places but it would seem that I was incorrect in my assumption. I doubt that the park is much better or a restaurant or many places for that matter. I suppose we will simply have to explore and discover a nice quiet spot on our own."

James' comments did not go unnoticed by Corinne and though she was somewhat suspicious of James' friendly demeanor that was no reason to be rude to him. "If you are not an enemy then I suppose it gives me all the more reason to be respectful. What brings you to a graveyard of all places so late at night, though, if I may be so bold as to ask sir?" Her Finnish accent was prominent though her English was perfectly understandable. Her accent was the perfect dosage.

James shifted his weight as if nervous or anxious. "Well Madam, I am simply looking to find a vampire who would be so inclined as to grant me a favor so that I may have the chance to speak with an elder...even if in return for their favor they demanded a price...."

A shadow appeared on the ground, and Veroen's dark figure rose out of its darkness as if he were on an elevator. He stood there, and looked around curiously. He wondered how much time had passed...

He looked at his surroundings, and noticed that nothing had changed from where he remembered. Interesting.

He silently walked over to a gravestone, and examined it. Indeed, everything hadn't changed at all.

Murky shadows upon the ground drew themselves together in order for a shape to emerge from them and soon enough both Eden and Aiden melted through the shadows and back into the world of actuality. While he was rather accustomed to shadow travelling, Aiden was not so sure how the hunter leader would handle it. Some had stronger stomachs than others but he wasn't in the least concerned about her health. No. He was more interested in seeing her reaction to the ability than anything.

"We are here. Your vampire is right there."

They had arrived, appearing right before Veroen and directly in front of the gravestone he had been examining moments before. Aiden's expression was completely unreadable even to those who were the most skilled of readers. He was a solid-built titanium wall when it came to any form of cross examination and indifference was the only quality that could be fished out of him.

Eden didn't really feel much of anything when she'd travelled through the void other than a little off balance because she'd adjusted to an alternate reality of sorts only to be brought back to the real world. The void was certainly nothingness and it wreaked of nothing just as Sethe had pointed out. Of course, Veroen had taken her on a most wonderful joy ride only a few hours or so ago so she'd already had her first experience with the void. It hadn't made her queasy in the slightest but it certainly was disorienting and took a bit of time to adjust to as well as to readjust to the actual world. There was so much stimulation in this plane and absolutely nothing but darkness in the other. It was quite an amazing and overwhelming contrast as well as very sudden without warning. However, once she spotted Veroen she practically forgot all about it. "Veroen!" She rushed over to him and crushed him in a hug before he was able to do anything else. "Please don't run away from me. I have to explain."

Veroen's new set of eyes flicked to the sections of shadow that came together.

Veroen's eyes narrowed at the sight of this. He stood up straight and contemplated what to do in such a situation, if it was indeed who veroen suspected it to be.

'Alasdair....' He thought to himself, as his hand went straight to the hilt of his blackened katana.

However, to his great surprise, it was a Void Vampire by the name of Aiden. And to Veroen's greater surprise, he was with Edith.

Veroen's eyebrows raised as he was happy to see Edith, but he noticed that she had not changed whatsoever. She was still pregnant, and had not aged at all.

To both of the Hunter's, Veroen's appearance would have been completely altered: His hair was now snow white, and was long enough to touch his mid back. His weapons would have looked different too, but they were concealed underneath his trench coat, which was open, and unbuttoned, showing off the black leather chest piece, and black leather leggings that complimented his combat boots.

However, the most bizarre difference, was Veroen's new eye. Where his black eye patch used to cover an empty eye socket, there was a new Void manifested eye. Where there would normally be white areas on the human eye, there was only black. However, his normal crimson iris was in the middle of the black Void eye. Also, his other eye which had been filled with the void for quite some time, was now normal.

Veroen was quick to return the embrace of Edith.

"Hey! I missed you so much!" Veroen spoke in this manner because it had been for him years since he had seen her.

He questioned her words.

"What do you mean? What are you talking about?"

Meredith looked up at Veroen, raising an eyebrow once she noticed that he looked really different seeing as she'd just been a blur making her way over to him, not even taking the time to take in his features having been worried he'd run from her again. Now that she looked she was perplexed to see that he had two eyes again, no eye patch and that his hair was extremely long. Why was it that every time she seemed to have Veroen out of her sight for more than a day or so that he had some new alteration to him? It wasn't a huge deal to her but it certainly did confuse her and Meredith wasn't exactly one to hush up when she wanted to know the answer to something. "I missed you too but you're acting like it's been forever and five days that we haven't seen eachother. It's barely been a day. What the hell happened to you? You have two eyes again. I mean, that's not a bad thing but I'm just confused. And you know, the other day when you ran away from me because the void was taking over you? That's what I'm talking about."

Veroen was perplexed by her words. She said it had only been a day since the two had seen each other, but it had felt like it had been so, so much longer...

Then it hit him. Something else he remembered. For the Void, time was relevant. He must have gone through years and years down in that cave when it had only been maybe a day.

"I see. Well, Edith, its a long, long story. The Void is a very mysterious thing. There are many possibilities with the Void, provided that you do not let it take control of you..." He trailed off deep in thought.

"But that is a conversation left for another time." Veroen was indeed, much wiser as well it seemed.

"All that needs to be said as of right now is that I am fine, and that I am now one with the Void. I have seen many things... Memories, knowledge, and history. I have learned so much as well...." He trailed off, not knowing where to begin.

He slightly smiled at here, reassuringly.

"I'm fine Edith. In fact, better than I have been in a long time. More importantly, are you alright? What happened in the infirmary? I look back now, and i have come to realize that it did not seem like you that spoke to me...."

Veroen rested his hands on her shoulders, expecting to hear her story.

This vampire had underwent a huge transformation from the sounds of what Meredith had been describing and Aiden knew that he could attribute that to the void. Many a time Aiden had relied on the void to piece him back together when he'd been deconstructed by something half worthy of his time in this city. Of course, it had been a long time since such a foe had appeared and Aiden still eagerly awaited someone that would prove less of a coward and more of a fighter. Either way, though, it seemed his presence was no longer neccessary.

"Your vampire appears to be fine and I can assure you, 'Veroen', that I am no Alasdair. My presence here seems invalid. Are my services further required or am I free?"

The angel-faced vampire's piercing ice blue eyes stared nonchalantly at the couple. His last desire was to stand here and witness the little couple exchanging their affections. He had better stories to hear and better things to do. While Cosette was not around to bother it wasn't the entire world to him to make her life hell. He was certain she'd be back soon enough, crawling and gruelling at his feet. Of course, his expression the entire while simply remained nonchalant, none of his thoughts betraying him by any means.

Veroen looked over at Aiden with a raised eyebrow, and with his new eye, which was completely black, save for the crimson iris in the middle.

"I must thank you, Aiden. Though I must admit, it is good to see that you are indeed not Alasdair." Veroen slowly, yet slightly nodded his head to Aiden. There weren't many Void users in the city, since Kyrre, and Alasdair disappeared.

"I suppose I shall see you around...." Veroen said, knowing that the two could now pinpoint each others location through the void. Veroen had indeed become a master of the Void.

"Well I guess I can safely asssume that you are not letting the void take control of you then? If that's the case then I am glad to hear that and that's great news. As for the story for another time, I'm down with hearing it another time since there's always things that I'm needing to do. Now since you apparently seem to be yourself again and you're calm, I feel terrible for bringing this up but in regards to the coven what do you figure your course of action will be? You know you're always welcome to Haven though until you're officially on the roster I cannot grant you priveledges of that of a hunter. And no, I'm not trying to pressure you into accepting the offer but you know it always stands." She held onto him tightly, just glad to know that he was alright. The whole eye reconfiguration thing was something that she would simply have to figure out at a later point in time and as Veroen assured her it was a conversation and story for another time. She was down for that.

"Yeah. I'm perfectly fine. It was you who wasn't fine and you just ran off and away from me after that b***h decided to interject and say something through me. Then I called Aiden up to help me find you and then I find you and you have your eye back and your hair's longer and is a different colour. As for what happened in the infirmary you were freaking out because the void was taking a hold of you and you were just losing your wits and everything. Then that stupid wolf decided to say that you were being swallowed by the nothingness and called you stupid and everything and you just ran out on me. I'm here to explain that that wasn't me who said that at all. It was her." It was clear that Meredith was troubled by the fact that Veroen, despite his state of mind at the time, had been convinced that the wolf's words had been her own. Meredith wanted to assure that he was one hundred percent aware that it had not been her that'd said the words that'd wounded him so deeply but the wolf's harsh judgements.

Eden turned to Aiden for a moment and managed to give the void vampire a smile. He'd ended up helping her and hadn't been a pain in the a** about it so she wasn't about to bite off more than she could chew. She was going to let him do what he wanted to do before he reconsidered doing her a favour ever again. As hard to deal with as he was, Aiden was a valuable asset to the hunters and while he preferred to work alone, he could teach the hunters a thing or two at least about hunting. "You're free. Thank you for helping me. It means a lot."

Veroen then remembered that moment. It seemed so long ago....

"Ah, yes. I figured as much, after I had time to think. In fact I had a lot of time to think... It's quite alright. No need to apologize Edith. I understand. It's alright now. I promise. We can continue this conversation in more, private, circumstances."

And with that, Veroen nodded to Aiden. Then he grabbed Edith's hand, and the two of them were swallowed in shadow, leaving nothing there.

James shifted his weight as if nervous or anxious. "Well Madam, I am simply looking to find a vampire who would be so inclined as to grant me a favor so that I may have the chance to speak with an elder...even if in return for their favor they demanded a price...."

(Its been a while since I've been on xD)

{{ Myself as well! }}

"It would seem that you have flagged down the wrong vampire, then, hunter of lycans. I am by no means associated with the coven and never will be. Perhaps there are others within the city who could point you in the right direction but my advice for you is to seek out Las Noches, a vampire-owned bar and seek your aid there. Elders are apparently known to haunt the place from time to time. Other than that I really cannot help you. If anything I am on bad terms with the coven. Might I ask why a hunter who hunts lycans is seeking out a vampire elder?" Corinne was interested in this fellow, not quite certain what to make of him just yet. It was clear he was nervous about whatever it was he was planning but beyond that she didn't read much into him, containing her psychic abilities for now.

"Im sorry to have bothered you then madam....as for why, Ill just say...Im desprate and in need of a large favor." And with that said he left.

D walked into the graveyard remembering the battle that he had here with the lycan Jaden. The scar on his back ached as he thought of it, but he continued on thought the graveyard and sat down under a tree. He was bored with the inactivity of the cities demons.
