Aino Ailill chaoticpuppet Aino Ailill chaoticpuppet Practice LSAT day today, and another one on Sat. morning, then 6 or 7 more throughout the next two weeks, and then the 26th is the real test and my nervousness is starting to double everyday... I know I can get a 160 or better, I know I can. In good news, football season starts today!! GO STEELERS!!! AND even better than that, hockey preseason starts in 5 days for the Pens!!!! Too bad I won't be able to watch non-nationally televised games for either sport seeing as I now live in Chicago. LSAT? What's it for? Law School Admissions Test. Gotta take it if I want to go to an ABA approved Law School in the U.S. of A. or Canada. Ah. From your post on the lab coats, I had assumed you were medical. xP Good luck! Thanks! No, I just live with my girlfriend who is studying to be a podiatrist at a podiatry/med/PA/Ph.D. institution and I get to use their gym for free! Though, I did consider medicine/research neuroscience/psych for a while and even applied to neuro Ph.D. programs last year before I decided that being a lawyer made more sense to me. Kinda funny when I look back at it now, cause I was always back and forth between med and law in highschool.

You sound like every stereo-typical, middle-class parent's dream come true. xP I had intended to pursue a Ph. D but I've changed my mind already and my first semester has barely begun. x.x I keep bouncing back to the same thing that I've desired since Freshman year of Highschool.

My parents always said they wanted me to be a lawyer or a doctor, but meh. Now they just want me to "grow up, get over school, and get a job."
I don't worry so much about where I want to go with a degree or whatever. I figure, I'll study what I want and what I love, and that will lead me to my niche.

Aino Ailill You sound like every stereo-typical, middle-class parent's dream come true. xP Haha, why thank you. And if my dad had become a lawyer, like he had wanted to, I'd be pretty much the poster child! Quote: I had intended to pursue a Ph. D but I've changed my mind already and my first semester has barely begun. x.x I always knew some kind of graduate schooling was in my future, I just didn't know what kind it would be, lol. Quote: I keep bouncing back to the same thing that I've desired since Freshman year of Highschool. Haha, it's alright, I switched majors 3 or 4 times by the beginning of my junior year. Started out philosophy, then psych, then neuro and philosophy, then neuro and psych.

They still don't think I can do anything with a music degree other than teach high school or middle school students. BAH!

And even if it doesn't directly relate to your degree, at least you didn't spend thousands of dollars making yourself miserable.

I've finally figured out why I really dislike this quiz we have tomorrow, other than the fact that he told us about it yesterday and didn't actually tell us anything about the it other than that it was on the gods. This quiz is actually on the index of gods (that briefly describes what they looked like, who worshipped them/where they were worshipped, and what their names mean) in the back of a book. We haven't actually read anything about Egyptian mythology yet, but he somehow thinks that reading this index and having a quiz on it will help us understand... something! I'm really not getting what that something is. So I'm off to read the wiki on Egyptian mythology and hopefully get some idea of what's going on.

I just realized an issue with having my friends come into town. The parking garage is private. I'm going to go down to the office and ask if there are any unassigned slots or if they have a suggestion as to where my friend can park.

Hey Aino?
Don't bother with the "Funliver" thread. The guy is a troll who in the past has done the things people have claimed including the hackings.

I just looked at the Field Ecology Field Trip and Lab Manual.
Our first trip is to do taxonomic classification of trees in a forest. And looking at one diagram, there's about 60 different ways to classify them, just by the shape of the leaves. gonk gonk gonk
