"Well, all three of those could be done," Felipe replied, now in thought as Sami gazed at the opposite wall, lost in her own thoughts. "Serious criminals, well, that's appealing..." he held his chin in thought. "What about... a massive jailbreak?"

"We can shoot down any enemy that's been released," Felipe replied. "If the police are on the scene, they'll automatically think that the police officers are the ones who shot them. We have people in the prison - they'll be able to set it up easily."

Sami shifted slightly at this, but said nothing. If one watched her carefully, one could see that her eyes were tired, her movements less quick, her boy more relaxed than it usually was.

Whatever had happened the night before had left its imprint on her, but nothing she couldn't cover up easily.

"Not at all," Felipe replied. "My... contact carries a headset with him at all times. He says it's his Blue Tooth, but it's actually a direct link to this base. Only he can use it." Smirking, he winked at Sami, who glanced at him in time to see the look but quickly looked away, her eyes downcast and slightly glazed. She shifted slightly. Felipe looked back to Tony. "We'll need a very big... boom. Don't you think?"

Sami didn't raise her eyes. She seemed determined to block out everything. Now that she wasn't the center of attention, she could allow herself to relax a little more.

There were shadows beneath her eyes. They were very faint, but the way the light hit her face at that instant, one could see them.

"So," Felipe stated, ignoring Sami for the time being. There was nothing between him and Tony except for the empty space on the couch. "When would you like it done? I would love it if the Mafia were able to assist in eliminating any enemy that might escape due to the prison break."

Felipe nodded, and raised his hand to Tony.

"And that will bring our two loving families ever closer," he stated, half playful, half serious.

Sami's eyes narrowed, but she didn't move.

Sami shifted, but before she could reply, Felipe spoke.

"Darling, mi novita," Felipe said, outlining her chin with a finger. She didn't look at him. "Muerta."

Her gaze rose to look at him, but her expression didn't change. Felipe plastered on a fake smile.

"Darling, we must fashion this glorious escapade as quickly as we can," he stated simply, draping his arm over her shoulder. No hint of recognition flashed across her eyes as she gazed at him. Whatever daze she had let herself drift into, she was finding it difficult to get out. "Why don't you call the prison - you know which one I'm talking about - and speak to our contact. They've been dying to hear from you, you know."

Sami gazed at him for a moment before nodding, merely a soft bob of the head.

"Yes, all right," she replied, getting up from the couch. She didn't glance at Tony as she moved and exited the room. Felipe watched her go, and sighed.

"It's a shame," he stated simply, gazing at the view after she was gone. "It's a shame her love is unrequited." Lighting a cigarette, he drew from it slowly. "Because if it was not for her love, you probably would've died."

"Yesterday was both of your faults," Felipe stated simply, looking over at Tony. "Senor Tony, I am a very truthful, under-the-table businessman. That is rare in this day and age." He drew on his cigarette. "I believe trust is imperative for lifelong bonds to be formed - which is what I am seeking with the Mafia. Therefore I am going to be very truthful with you right now. Yesterday was both your fault and Muerta's - Muerta's for lying and saying you would come alone, and you for not heeding Muerta's warnings and coming alone. Whether or not that Lawliet character was associated with you, he still showed up, which means you were either being watched or followed. Either way, he got in through means of his disgusting spiders, and many of my men received burns from when they exploded. You were being trailed, and I thought the Mafia would take better care to cover their tracks. Obviously you failed, or you accidentally..." he chose this next word carefully, "slipped the information of where you were going to someone else, who in turn sent the bumbling fool here. Either way, both of you are to blame." He drew on his cigarette again before looking back at Tony. "Why do you think my darling Muerta looks so tired, so worn?" He smiled grimly at Tony. "She had to take the beatings of two people."

Felipe waved the insult away.

"Is that all you have to say?" He asked. "Not, 'oh, how noble'? Not 'how strong of her'? Nothing? Heh. Senor Tony, it's those 'lessons' that allowed her to become the weapon she is. Though she might not like pain, she has learned to ignore it indefinitely. She is a quick learner, quick-witted, fast thinker, she can operate nearly all kinds of machinery and weapon, and she listens to orders from higher-up without question." Most of the time. He drew on his cigarette, gazing at the view leisurely with his legs crossed and his free arm draped over the back of the couch. "She is perfect in every way. Or at least, she will be soon." He smiled. "Besides, is she dead? No. Of course not. She is alive, to only grow stronger and smarter. Faster. I knew she could take it. Besides, she asked for it. Begged for it. Anything to keep your precious skin from being marred." He eyed Tony's freshly laundered suit in amusement, a soft, amused smirk on his face as his eyes danced in mirth. Then he looked back to the view and dragged on his cigarette again. "I merely gave her what she asked for."
