So... after assembling and painting some Grey Knight and Militarum Tempestus miniatures, I decided to finally get back into the game. Unfortunately, upon entering the only available game club matching my schedule, I was reminded that it takes more to play the game than the models and rules. The people are kind of massively unpleasant to be around, so I'm not going back.
Looks like I'm collecting the miniatures for the modeling rather than the gaming, Or for the RPGs. I've got Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy, and I'm going to try to snag Deathwatch before it sells out and goes away forever. If I ever run/play a game over an actual tabletop, I'll at least have some pretty figurines to go with it.

Sorry to hear about the BS at the gaming club. I can very much sympathize with you. I stopped going to my local FLGS earlier this year for the same reason.

The guys at my FLGS are tempting me to come back, as a lot of them are people I hang out with in real life. Fortunately, X-Wing is eating all of my tabletop money.

Sean King Every single time I do it gets moved to the Chatterbox of obscurity never to be seen again. Lately it's been the same damn mod in the Anime forums. Posted that the voice actress for Sailor Pluto had died. Moved and told because it was about a voice actress it did not belong in the anime forums and did not promote "discussion". Let people know about the Full Metal movie. Moved and told it has nothing to do with Anime and also did not promote discussion. It just reminded me why I usually only post in this Guild. Wait, other parts of this website are still maintained? I don't believe you.

I just finished a marathon session of converting and repairing minis. I've been at it since about 7 last night. I magnetized 20 Terminators and converted a bunch of Tacticals to Destroyers as well as repairing a few Assault Marines

Not sure what I'm going to do with it, I don't even play Sisters of Battle. Well, not any more anyway after we donated most of it to someone else.

I do wish Forge World would put this one up for pre-order already.. It's rare for me to have enough money to buy something so expensive, but it not being available for purchase. Chances of it being something to work on during Christmas are becoming smaller and smaller by the week. crying
