Ryou broke out of Bakura's grip. He stumbled forward, unbalanced, and slammed into Rei. With this distraction, Marik's hand fished in his pocket for a moment and came out with his own pocket knife. With a quick jabbing motion, he forced the blade between her ribs. "Fine, fine, I'm opening the door!" Atem called back, and did, a few moments later. He scowled at Kawi. "What is it?"

Rei gasped and fell to the side coughing up blood.
"I want you to let atem out...our atem" kawi said.

Bakura let out a purely inhuman howl as he, the thief, took control. He knocked Marik aside with incredible force, catching the man off guard. He was at Rei's side in a heartbeat, with the other Bakura screaming at him in his head to leave her be and go get Marik before he does more harm.
"If I could do that, don't you think I would have by now?" Atem let out a sigh. "Truth is, sweetie, that 'your' Atem is long gone. I don't know what happened to him. He just... faded away."

"That cant be. People dont just faid away...Are you sure he's just not speaking?"
Rei coughed up more blood yanking the knife out of her chest.

Atem started to laugh. "Heh, nah, I'm just kidding. I wish he was quiet. He's done nothing but scold me for everything, screaming really loudly. 'Cept he hasn't had much practice in fighting back mentally, so he didn't stand a chance when I put up barriers." Atem pinched Kawi's cheek. "You don't really know this kind of stuff, though."
"Ah, s**t, I don't know if you were supposed to do that..." Bakura muttered, managing to keep his calm. He took Rei's hands, pressing them against the wound. "Try and keep pressure here. I need to go call... 911, is it?"

Kawi giggled innocently "Well I bout I wack you till you let him out....Ember said that normal works with stubborn men like you" she said sucking on her popcicle.
"Get...the pinapple..OUT...of our House" rei said roughing blood coming up every time she spoke.

"Oh?" Atem's eyebrows rose. "She called me stubborn?" "I will, just... hold on." Bakura said, bolting away to handle the current situation. First, he went to the phone. Rei came first, before all else. He sputtered into it in his ancient language, then froze. The other Bakura smugly took over, calmly informing the woman on the line to send an ambulance. Hanging up, he turned to locate 'the pineapple'.
At least Marik had left the children's room. Bakura knew that he wouldn't have to deal with pushing down the thief as much if his family wasn't in immediate danger. He heard a cry from Ryou and ran, finding the two in the kitchen. Ryou was slumped on the ground, his hair becoming bright crimson, with Marik standing above him, holding a bloody knife. Bakura hurled himself at Marik, knocking into the other yami and toppling him over. He wrestled the knife out of Marik's hands, and punched his throat. Marik gagged, spitting out blood. Bakura would have continued had he not heard the siren of the ambulance. Already? Oh, right; they didn't live that far away.
Marik pushed Bakura off of him, taking advantage of his distraction, and ran. He managed to get out the back door before Bakura could get up. Shouting threats and curses after Marik, Bakura stood up and rubbed his knuckled. Then, remembering, he turned towards his hikari, who was unconscious on the ground still. Blood covered his face, and Bakura realized that this was all coming from a deep gash right on Ryou's hair line. It seemed like Marik had tried to scalp Ryou or get to his brain. At least the ambulance was here.
[Sorry for it being so long like that. I just figured that Rei couldn't do much...]

Kawi nodded "Uh huh. As well a self centered,selfish,a jerk,...hmmm She was randing one time when you broke the washing machine and called you alot of other things..."
Durning all this rei had passed out in the childrens room blood seeping from her mouth.

"You don't think all those things about me, do you?" Atem asked, with a sly smile. The smile faded, and he sighed. "Well, I'm trying to be better. I swear I am." The paramedics came in, and Bakura calmly told them a brief story of what had happened-- he actually told the truth, which surprised him. Some madman, perhaps a burglar, had come in. 'These two had gotten hurt. No, no, he didn't want to ride. He needed to stay here, with his children. He would come to the hospital in just a little bit. Okay, goodbye.' Bakura picked up both the babies as he watched the ambulance pull away, to take the two hurt individuals somewhere where they'd be taken care of.

Kek had started crying and clinging to bakura. Once kek started crying so did femi.
"Well you are stuborn and selfish but your getting much better from when you first came here. " kawi told him "I think ember just misses outatem as well...I mean I've noticed she trys to hang out with you but...your not exsactly that nice..."

"Hey, shut up." Bakura snapped bitterly. He didn't want to let the thief take control, since he would go off and do something stupid. Growling slightly, he went and sat down on the couch to get more comfortable with the children. "I hate babies." "Hmm." The pharaoh paused to consider some things, then patter Kawi's head. "Well, since you asked so nicely..." The Millennium Puzzle glimmered brightly, and then a rather confused Atem was suddenly in charge of the body. "Guh..."

Kawi squeeked and took atem by the hand "Come on we gotta catch up wid yugi! Im sure ember wants to see you too!"
The babies continued to cry and cling to him.

Bakura muttered, glancing around to see if there were scorpions or something to put in these infants' mouths. The thief Bakura was yelling at him mentally, which made Bakura's headache that much more worse. He got up, holding the two, and went to their room, trying to avoid the large puddle of blood in the middle of it. He put them both in the cribs, and staggered over to the phone, dialing the number of the mansion, wondering if anyone was there right then. "Where are they?' Atem still seemed rather dazed. The phone rang, and the shrill sound snapped him out of his confusion.

"Aha! Kawi!" Bakura was relieved to hear a female voice on the other line. He spoke Japanese for her to understand, and also to show that it wasn't the thief. "Marik just came by here. Ryou and Rei are both in the hospital. You might want to know. But more importantly, how the ********> do you make babies shut up?!"
