Yeah... >.> My jaw's been popping since I was three, but it wasn't serious and my dentist never said anything about it. Then this past June, it suddenly locked up during a trip while I was in the car. Since then it gradually got worse. Now it's been locked for four weeks straight. Um... apparently things like stress can cause strain on the jaw. Or grinding to clenching your teeth. I don't think I do those though.
And it's not like I can't talk! It just hurts to eat crunchy food. ^^;; And I can't eat wide things like burgers or sandwhiches. I have to sort of... squish them down and take really small bites.
The disk isn't broken though... Just slipped out of place. I have to start therapy to try getting it back into place. Or, my body will make a new disk, eventually, so that one will just be... floating around out of place forever. D=

whoa x__x;;; freaky Spazzie>__< My mom has that prob, but with the back, I think the disk on her lower back tore up and when it moves or slides around too much, it really hurts. To get it fixed is too expensive, so she has to bear with it from time to time, XD Dada makes her massages from time to time, its cute^__^;;

Spazz my mom broke 2 discs in her back. And somehow her body ate them up which never happens. It was really wierd apparently. So now I guess she just has like space in her back or something? Her back still hurts her but she was bed-ridden for years, most of the time when I was little she wasnt suppose to be up that much but she was cus she ran a day care in our house.

It's not my back hurt though, Rene. It's my jaw.
I'm sorry though. >< And to you too Pearl! Er, I mean, to your mom...
Surgery would be really expensive though, and there's not a 1oo percent chance it'd even work. So I'm glad the guy I'm seeing is focusing on therapy instead of cutting me open. xP Mine doesn't really hurt, luckily. Just sometimes... like if I eat crunchy food. xD;;

My mom's fine thoughXDDDD Just that she cant really carry heavy things, its really bad for her back, ^__^;;;
Rene, that's really awful. Well if you dont have disks on between the backbones, movements tend to hurt a lot; the disk between two backbones allows you to more around without having the backbone rub onto each other.
