"Yeah. Well we got our big battle with Lilith coming up. Oh!" Tyrn exclaimed as he remembered what he needed to tell Vicki. "I'm going to ascend to a High Prince whenever we have the next battle. Ill be able to help Shadow with the troops and fight at the same time and stuff. Although I'm putting Sakura back in danger in order to Ascend." Tyrn added sadly. He was not happy with the idea of Sakura being in danger while his body is adjusting to his changes. "Sakura and I have to be surrounded by Lilith's army and when I know its the right time I will have to look into Sakura's eyes and that will be my trigger. i will be out for a few seconds as my body adjusts to the changes. Sakura apparently is my external source of power while my dead mother inside me is my internal source. It's a long story of which I'm sure you would love not to hear." Tyrn said with a grin.

I listened to his almost over excited story, and almost jumped when he started talking about the story of his ascension. "Wow, you sure are happy about this, but if I were you I wouldn't worry about Sakura, we can all help her if she needs it" I put out my cigar and smirked. "I have a better way to figure out the story" I said as I closed my eyes and concentrated on his mind, "I got it" I said as I took in the story.

"Oh you can mind read can't you? You didnt pick up anything else did you?" Tyrn asked jokingly. He was glad someone could understand his story without saying something bad or not caring at all. He took another drink of his blood.

"Yeah, sorry about invading your mind" I said with a smile, "and I did pick up on something, but don't worry I won't tell Shadow." I smirked and finished off the pitcher, "Oh sorry for not offering you any, that whole being knocked out thing kinda made me a little weak from not feeding"

"Im fine. I have had more than enough of blood today. Thanks though." Tyrn said to her. "So what do you know about this Lilith gal?" Tyrn asked. He wanted to know as much as he could about his enemy. Fighting with smarts was better than fighting smartly with ignorance. I wonder what she picked up about Shadow. He thought.

"well Lillith is the self-proclaimed queen of the vampire clans" I said trying to think of all that Shadow has told me about her. "In Shadow's time, when he was young, his clan and their alliances fought against hers and her clans" I said hoping I wasn't being confusing. I lit up another cigar and held it over an ash tray "She wanted Shadow to take her place and try to take over the world like she tried to do years and years ago, he declined her offer and now she's pissed" I took a long drag from my cigar, "I hope that summarizes everything"

"Good enough for me." Tyrn said satisfied. "I have been meaning to aske you since it came up but what was the whole Malice and Maxim thing with Sakura? It used to eat her up every time she smelled me or saw me." Tyrn asked curiously. "If thats stuff I shouldn't be getting into then I'm good but I just wanna know what to say if something knocks Sakura back into that mood." Tyrn said to her. It was true. He had no clue what to say if Sakura should happen to think of Maxim again.

I sighed thinking about the incident, "Well I have no idea what to do, I'm not too good with the comforting thing, I'm a warrior, almost like a female Shadow" I said with a slight laugh, "has she told you what happened? Or do you know?"

"All I know is Maxim got out of control and somehow blooded Sakura when she was six which was only a few weeks ago and she woke up a vampire and seventeen I think it is. Thats pretty much all I know." Tyrn said straining to try to remember anything else Sakura told him. He couldn't remember anything else and tried to see if he could find anything in the way she acts. Once again he couldn't find anything.

"Well Sakura spent alot of time with Maxim when he was a child, they were very good friends, but being a vampire like us he grew much more rapidly than her" I blew out some smoke and let him take in the information. "He lost control of his bloodlust much like his mother had a few times, and took what he needed from Sakura." Tapping the ash from my cigar I explained more, "so he felt guilty for turning her, and took his own life, I think that's what haunts her the most"

"Oh that would definitely explain it." Said Tyrn. "Wow, im a good thing in Sakura's life right now aren't I?" Tyrn asked her. He wasn't ever gonna bring up him again and that was a promise. he took another drink from his glass and looked at it. God damn. . . . Sakura must have felt worse with him than me with the time Hally died. He thought completely surprised.

I looked a little surprised seeing as he didn't know about Maxim, "I know it's probably alot to take in" I said looking out the window, seeing how bright it was out there due to the almost full moon. "So if I were you I wouldn't mention him to her, and try to keep her mind off of him, or even when she was turned"

"Yeah I'm gonna do my best with that as soon as I can get over it." Tyrn said with a laugh. "I know I shouldn't be laughing but wow! Don't take this the wrong way but I'm surprised Sakura is alive. Not only because she was bitten by an immortal but also becuase she had to deal with that heartbreak. how did Alice deal with it?" Tyrn asked thinking of Sakura's mother.

I tapped more ash into my tray, "damn she hasn't told you very much, but I figure you wouldn't know this stuff, I don't expect her to tell you." I waved over a servant and asked him to bring me a chocolate milk then went back to Tyrn, "Alice didn't take it very well, this was supposed to be a safe haven, and she saw it as Sakura almost being killed, then she went from a child to a teenager in a matter of days which didn't bode well with Alice. She didn't talk to Sakura for a while, I think she still wanted her to be the little girl she used to be, just recently she's been more hospitable"

"Yeah the night Sakura and I started together I met Alice and Sakura was in the kitchen getting some blood for us and she came out and Alice had her hand on my face in a more than hello gesture. Sakura wasn't up for two days after that." Tyrn said sadly. "I can understand wanting the old person back but sometimes fate changes things for the better, you know?" Tyrn asked her. He was surprised at Sakura's easiness to forget Maxim for him.
