I heard Hellboy 2 was a fantastical movie, but I thought it was only okay..
It seems like everyone I know has a completey different opinion in movies... which is fine I guess, but it makes me question them.

I haven't seen Wall-E yet, but I've heard good things about it.
I saw Hellboy 2 today and I wouldn't go so far as to call it fantastical, but I did enjoy it. It had a pretty good blend of comedy and action which was fun, but it wasn't anything that I would want to see two or three times in theaters. sweatdrop

I'm sure it would be helpful, but I hadn't seen Hellboy one in a couple years and was perfectly okay. If anything it would just help give you some further character background history, but any major details of their past are gone over. So basically, no you don't have to see Hellboy one before watching then new one, you should be perfectly fine without it. 3nodding

I like where I can get a brief recap of the first movie in the second movie. Then again...I don't like when the first movie is pretty much unrelated to the second. Kinda reminds me of filler episodes of [insert anime here]

Well they seem to wrap up most of their bad guy troubles in each movie, so the good guy characters stay the same, except for an addition or subtraction of a character throughout the movie. The bad guys on the other hand are different, which is what allows for people to see it without seeing the first one. But yeah, they did a pretty good job of keeping from looking like a filler.

Yeah, fillers are so boring and pointless. If you ask me, they are the downfall to anime. xp

Lol, and I don't get a chance to see new movies. mad I either have to download them and watch them while I'm doing things on my computer, or watch them on demand on TV a month or so after it's went to DVD.

xp Dang, well that sucks. I'm guessing your too busy with work and all that to get a chance to see movies? Or are ticket prices just becoming too ridiculously expensive to go?

Eh...not so much price. And that sounds about right for the first part. And I don't like to do much of anything on my weekends. (Monday and Tuesday)
