He looked at marty and nodded. " Both if you ask me. Kayako is a nut case of a girl if you ask me very crazy on certain things but very dangures on the forefront of fighting. She all so likes chasing people around with pans and brooms. " He stopped as Twilight's head turned towards town. " Incoming.. UF fighters One KLF Mech trailing them. " Reiku looked at Marty. " We got company.. I think... Or there passing through.. " He closed his hatch as he climbed down to stand next to marty. " Back on subject before they show up asking questions.. Then you got Asuka who's very quite keeps to her self. She is like Kayako's sister if you think about it. She is as well very dangures if you get on there bad sides. Then you got our loveable pilot Quinn who ant keep something flying for straight with out blowing up or messing around with anything. " He turned his head to spot the blue KLF with four soldgiers on it rolling towards them.

Marty was them coming down and figured they where homing in them. He then turned his attention to reiku again. "I see, ARe they tatcialy sound." He then brought his lips together and whistled, but there was something unnormal about the whistle and it echoed in an unatural way. he the kept his back straigh and closed his eyes. "dang out of gas... Reiku you think they want to fight?" He pointed at the UF coming down in the area.

After a few bumps, bruises, and a couple curses, Rain's team made it to town. She parked the LFO behind some bushes, opened the hatch, and jumped out. With Ryouki still attached to a leash and Rain still holding it, he was forced to come out, as well, lest he be strangled. She put her hand to her brow and looked at the streets near them, trying to see if there was anything that looked hopeful. Shrugging, she turned back towards the cockpit and began to rummage through it.
"Ok," Rain said after a few minutes of searching. She turned around and and in her hands were a few things. "Nic, put these glasses on and hold this stick. Ryouki, take this sign." Before handing it to him, she scribbled something on it with a pen. "Now, c'mere so I can chop your leg off." From somewhere on her person, she took into her hands a large machete and looked evilly at one of his legs.

Nic stared at what Rain had given her and instead of finding out what would happen if she didn't do as she was told, she obeyed Rain's orders. She had no idea what was going on but was sure that there was some point to all of it. Though she couldn't help but let her jaw drop when she saw Rain pull out the large machete. "Uhhhh..." was the only thing she seemed to be able to say.

"Rain, contrary to whatever Kayako may have told you, we are quite capable of earning money honestly and with all of our body parts intact. Also disability scams never work." Ryouki found himself more disturbed by his own acceptance of the situation rather than the actual situation at hand. He was even more disturbed when, as he attempted to plan an escape should Rain take her silliness too far, the first thing that came to his mind was the idea that he should take off his clothes, tie his shirt around his head and find a policeman he thought would believe that he was kidnapped by bondage pirates. He greatly feared for his sanity. "Let's just hunt around for wanted ads. And if that doesn't work, then we can use a sign or something. Just make sure it doesn't say 'willing to do any kind of work' on it. I used that slogan once while trying to get the money to travel to a military recruitment station and I will tell you that that's the surest way to lure out every creep within an 100 mile radius." Ryouki visibly shuttered while recalling the experience. Surely some kind of vastly powerful entity had it out for him.
-------
Meanwhile, Kayako and Asuka were on their way back towards where Senturi was parked, various bags in hand. They had settled on getting mostly canned foods and ramen, although large amounts of bickering had ended on a compromise involving also buying wine. Asuka could still not believe that they had managed to acquire said wine without being asked for ID, although that may have been the result of Kayako showing off her pocket knife while the manager was in earshot.
Kayako was still ranting on about 'living for the moment' and accusing Asuka of being a damper and her and the crew's fun-making. Asuka, of course, was ignoring all of this in favor of doing math calculations on the back of their shopping list. What exactly she was calculating was unknown, but it likely had to do with their ever-present budget. "Kayako," the redhead said after looking over her writings "Wait here for a second, I think I dropped something...." Asuka went back around the corner they'd just cleared, while Kayako simply stood there and yawned. A few moments later she reappeared, humming to herself as the two girls started walking again. Kayako watched her suspiciously, wondering what exactly she'd dropped that had put her in such a good mood when reacquired.
Soon the girls caught sight of Reiku and Marty at last, and Kayako waved hello to them as they approached. "Hey boys! Didja get everything I asked for?" she said. Asuka watched the nearby UF soldiers over her shoulder. They didn't look like they wanted to pick a fight, but military folks were often unpredictable. Asuka doubted that the arrest warrants issued for them by Dewey were still active after everything that had happened, but it never hurt to be cautious.

The previously mentioned machete was now a saw. How this feat was accomplished exactly is a secret, so let's just say it's magic. Or perhaps there was never a machete to begin with. It was aaaall an iilluuuussiiooon. It had always been a saw to begin with, and you people are wasted and seeing things. To go rehab.
Without saying a word, Rain pulled out some awesome sick goggles and skipped off into the woods to do undisclosed things. After an amount of time passed, she came back pulling a cart full of prepared boards and a tool box. She walked past the bushes where she parked Eden and continued on until she got into the city. There, she found a suitable corner and parked her cart at the location. Taking a board, some nails, and a hammer, she set out to build something magnificent. It would be the most magnificent object the world had ever seen. More amounts of time past, along with various sounds of sawing, hammering, and drilling, and it wasn't too long until a wondrous piece carpentry was standing tall and proud on the corner. It was a stand, and at that stand Rain was seating on a lovely little wooden chair with the most adorable cushions one has ever seen. A sign over the stand read, "Chumps for Hire" and in small print, "Come hire some chumps for whatever chump-doing job you need."
Slouched in her chair with her feet on the table, Rain rested and waited for any people who would pass by and inquire upon the services being offered. I think we should start thinking about advertising in a way that would better our chances of getting well-paying jobs, she thought to herself, stroking her chin. "More like I think we need to get Rain a sandwich, and we better do that soon before Rain has to kill a b*tch," she said with loud volume.

'There was LSD in my cereal this morning, I know it.' Ryouki thought as he wandered around trying to find a place to get a sandwich for under $1, which was all he had on him. Luckily Rain had been so preoccupied with her shenanigans that she'd forgotten to keep hold of the leash around his neck. 'Soon I'll wake up slumped over in the shower and this will all have been just an overdose-induced dream....' A little ways down the street from Rain's booth he came across a deli and, hoping that his powers of persuasion didn't fail him, promptly went inside and up to the counter. "Excuse me," he said "but is there any way that I can get a ham sandwich out of you with just one dollar and a ball of string? My friend's down by the booth there and she's going a little crazy from hunger."
The elderly chef eyed Ryouki suspiciously, then peered over his shoulder to get a look at Rain, who could be seen through the deli's glass walls. "Zat crazy redhead with ze forehead gem? She does not seem....eh, how you say, right in ze head, no offense meant of course...Still, no discounts! I am very strict man! No cater to ze bums!"
"Did I mention that she's crazy from hunger? And that she has a saw?"
The chef's face immediately turned a bit whiter, and he quickly turned around to take another look at the girl in question. Sure enough, there was Rain, and there nearby leaning against her booth was a saw. The chef looked back and forth between Rain and Ryouki a few times before huffing and throwing open a cabinet door to produce some bread. "Of course I help! I am generous man, most generous man in town! Now, what else I put on ze sandwich?"
"Anything that won't sting my eyes if she throws it back at me." Ryouki meant this statement very seriously. A few moments later after parting with his string and last dollar bill, Ryouki returned to Rain's booth with a bagged sandwich in hand. "Here oh wondrous wielder of sharp things, a sandwich. Eat it or wear it."
[[That last line belongs to my mother. That's what she says to ornery old people at her job.]]]

Medri then smiled and lauged jumping out of the FLo's shoulder and helping the baby holding Kanashia with her stuff that lead to him carrying a moutian of crap back to his old room that he had the AI lock untill this point. Once inisde he placed the babies stuff around the room and bolted some of it to the floor and put a big sign on the door that reads 'Baby inside, no monkey bussiness or anything crazy of kayako...' he smiled happy with his work, but he would add of a lines of codeing on the somputers AI to help him keep kayako calmed down around his baby.
Marty glanced towards Asuka and kayako as they showed up and gave them a nod and then his eyes trailed back to the LFO's flying over head and he wished he had fuel in his bike just in case something happened. when asked about if they got everything they needed MArty just shook his head yes and went bac kto watching the UF fly around.

Kanashia followed medri letting him a majority of the work since she had a baby to hold onto. "I hope this was agood idea, she is still very young medri..." she had ting of concern in her voice. "I just hope eveyone can understand that there is a child on board... And anyone that tries to destroy this ship." She let it hang in the air like she did not need to complete the sentence. "medri the room just like it did when we left, she glanced towards the bed and smiled. "Good memories there..." and she gave him a flirty nudge and whispered to the baby. "We made you in this room... yes we did..."

The forest was a lively place in the sense that so much was going on. The orchestra of thousands of trees and insects blended into a soothing ballad that stirred the minds of ghosts from yore. That was until the canopy erupted into a cacophony of snapping branches and rioting as Okk dropped downward on his ref-board which broke as it slid from under him and slammed into a very sturdy old tree. This left Okk to fall seven feet, after clearing the fall-breaking branches, on his own. He landed with a hard thud, crouching upon hitting the ground and rolling to avoid breaking any bones. Instead he twisted his ankle and cursed. "Stupid frigging..."

With a sigh Nic looked at the stick in her hands, she was starting to think that it may be nice to have it become good friends with her head. Pushing the glasses up onto the top of her head she looked over Rain's stand for a second and debated walking over or not. Proping the stick upon her shoulder as she move over towards the stand just in case there may be an icident where she hit herself hard enough in the head to pass out.

Reiku kept his eyes on the UF. " I so want to blast them out of the sky.. ' He mumbled to himself. He turned and faced Kayako. '' Ya everything is in my cockpit. Where your things so I can put them in it for ya?" He kept his hands stuffed in his pockets in a fist.

Medri smiled at her. "Don't worry love, it will all be fine." He smiled and gave the little kid the a kiss and grinns at Kanashia's comment. "Ya, that bed means good memories." He gave her anothe smooch and smiled. "Sorry I got alot of work to get done, the ships guts are in the middle of hallway in front of the secruity brain room."
Marty looked towards Reiku and shrugged a bit. If he really wanted to fight the UF he had the full rights but he just meet these peopel so he was in place to judge or give opions. He just leaned against the LFO his eyes half open like he was sleep.

When we last joined Quinn, he had long since abandoned the ship and was now out and about on his own, bearing with him only his stylishly white bathrobe, a lamp, a box of matches, and other items that would be equally out of place and amusing. His shoes scuffed against the ground with the satisfying rhythm of dirt and dust being pushed aside as he walked on.
Where he was going, he didn't know. What he was going to do once he got there, he did, though. Play ping pong! And maybe look for his father... his beloved father... the only father figure in his life, the man he most aspired to be... who disappeared years ago after a tragic boating accident. Ever since, the poor boy had been frightened to death of the water, not even daring to drink any of the sea's sweet savory brine. But now it was nearly twenty years later, and he was happily married to the girl of his dreams, with a house of his own, a great job, and... wait, wrong script, hang on.
Um, yes, Quinn was walking down the street and found a booth. He quickly tipped it over, and found another one. This one was--quite obviously, since it's easily apparent where this story is going to end up, c'mon, you know it already, don't lie to me, I mean really--Rain's booth. Upon spotting the sign, he felt his heart sink as if he had just played a game of Love Battleship and someone had guessed B-4.
Those poor chumps! said the man towards his mind, apparently missing it entirely. Out here all alone, they're probably starving, without home, without family... What have I done?! He sniffed greatly, causing the mucus dripping from his nose to return to his nasal cavities faster than any of the crayons he had expelled from it.
His humbled feet approached the booth with a kind of penitent caution, slowly setting his lamp down. He reached into his bathrobe and found it in his miserable little self to offer some money.
"Here, I think this chump change belongs to you."

Business was going rather slow. Not the kind of slow where someone tells a joke and it takes awhile for the slow friend to get it, ya know, the "tick tick tick tick ding" kind. It was more like you spilled a barrel of molasses and it'll be about several hours until the first drop finally drips off the rim and onto the floor. That kind of slow where you watch the clock in the class room tick to the final minutes and it seems the closer it gets to school's-out time, the slower the clock goes. Yes, indeed, it was very slow.
Rain was sure that Nic, whom she had noticed come up to the stand via peripheral vision, was enjoying this as much as she was. It was only a matter of time, though, before someone would come up to them and ask them to accomplish a task. If only it was as easy as in them video games... she thought. Obviously, they would have to take a better course of action if they wanted to get some jobs. So with that thought, Rain started to brainstorm some ideas. The dark, ominous cloud in her mind began to approach the main factories of thinking and soon started to swell. Lightning struck and thunder sounded, for everyone knows thunder always comes after lightning. But another storm was forming and this one began to take hold of Rain's attention. Her right hand left the partnership it held with the left and moved down to her stomach and lay until a person approached her, brandishing a brown paper bag like a little school lad.
Looking up, she smiled and gleefully remarked, "Oh, Ryou! You know just how to treat a girl!" She snatched the bag out of his hands and tore through it like that bear through that crazy bear man and his crazy girlfriend. She seized hold of one half and placed the other on the table. Opening her mouth as wide as she could, she shoved the lunch time food object in there and took out a big chunk, having to chew with her mouth full because it was so cramped up in there. When enough was swallowed to close her mouth, she stood up and laid a big, wet, sandwich contaminated one on Ryouki's cheek. "Ffks rrb," she said to him, sandwich all over her mouth.
Then came along another person with change that he said was chumpish. She looked up at him, her cheeks as big as a squirrels. Whoo-hoo, charity! she cheered in her rather disturbed mind.
