But they are so scary! And they p0wn all the bitches that stand in their way.
It was supposed to touch down right near my house, so there was a mad dash from the top floor of my apartment, across the parking lot, and into the safe room under the pool. And then of course as the ten of us were hiding down there the tornado never touched down. Regarless it was frightening.

Getting ready for a con smile
Very exciting, getting dressed up as Chell from Portal 2; long fall boots and Wheatley.
Jewel Staite, Steve Blum, and others will be there. It is exciting.

Steve Blum canceled yesterday *all the sorrow ever*, but it should still be fun. If you tumble I will probably be live blogging the event.

It's that time of year again... or actually a little bit later... But anyway, it is time for local Can't Stop the Serenity events! We had ours a few days ago, but others are going on through July and into August. Please go if you can. It is all for a very good cause, and who doesn't love watching Serenity on the big screen. At ours we even watched Doctor Horrible, it was pretty awesome. Check out the CSTSCSTS homepage to find an event near you.

I set a reminder on my calendar when I saw this. I never remember these unless someone tells me, so I'm really glad I have you!

It's a good cause, and a fun time, everyone should go if they can. We went and had a blast, and they are thinking about doing one here in KC so I might get to go again smile

They have two in my area, but the first one was while I was in London. But I will definitely be at the second one.

It was absolutely amazing. I met some fabulous people and saw the best theatre productions I've seen in my life. The group I went with had a reunion dinner last night, and it was great to see everyone again.
LOL! It's good we were doing something awesome when we missed it!

That's awesome! My group was a school group, and we didn't have our get together lunch until... s**t... almost a year later, and even then not everyone was able to make it. But that's awesome.
I hope to hit that part of Europe when my friend gets married in Scotland next year, as long as I can aford it anyway.

If you do, go see some plays. The theatre there is wonderful, especially at the National Theatre. It's my all time favorite.
