Exo opened his eyes in mid kiss and saw the cloaked man he met earlier. He had Monteagueo's spell book in his hands and ran out of the theater. Exo grabbed Pilata and slowly pulled away from her. "He got the book!!" Exo ran out after the man.

"Oh no!" wailed Pilata, "We have to get it back!" Quickly, she leapt to her feet and joined the pursuit.

The man used a spell he learned from the book to run with extraordinary speed. "He's even faster than me.....Quick! Pilata, change the form of the ground below the man to liquid and then back into a solid.

They both approached the man. Exo snatched the book from his hand. "What do you want? Why were you following me earlier?" The man chuckled and said, "My wishing was not to guide you, but the advice I gave you could prove useful to you. Pilata is the light in your life. She helps you see through the darkness. But, as I said before, the closer you get to the light, the bigger your shadow becomes," said the man. "Who are you?" "If you are going to kill me, then kill me," the man said. Exo looked at Pilata, wondering what he was going to do with the man.

Pilata stepped up to the man. "It depends what direction the light is coming from," she said coolly, "Besides, people deserve more than a cliche to determine the direction of their lives."
Pilata turned back to Exo. "I think it'd be best for him to stay imprisoned. But somewhere more secure."

Exo looked up into the sky and saw a black figure approaching. Dozens of figures soon appeared and began to dive down on Exo and Pilata. "Uh, Pilata..." Exo pointed to the figures, which were close enough to see clearly. "Are those flying demon things friends of yours?" Exo asked with a frightened tone of voice.

"Just in time, too. For a moment there, I thought Exo had the balls to kill me. But I was wrong," the man had a big smile on his face. The demons had reached ground level and attacked Exo and Pilata. Exo left his guitar in the dorm, so he had to fend for himself for the time being. "Pilata! Zap 'em!" he yelled as he drop kicked two demons

Electricity crackled from her fingertips, shooting out towards the demons.
"Exo!" called Pilata, "Um, about your guitar - I was worried that the dorm might burn, so I kinda grabbed it - it's in my bag."
