5 attacks on the charge sounds awesome . plus there extra bonuses sounds tempting when are they scheduled to release?

I made a mistake with my attack calc. Furious Chrage adds plus one to thier iniative and strength. So they get 4 attacks, 5 if it's a Toup Master. Now if you arm them with all Harlequins kiss your bound to get a few 6's.

Good to see they powered them down a little from their last incarnation. wink

EDIT: Speaking of Harlequins....

I have not checked in much and I want to see if anyone has a quick reply to this question even if it has been asked before. Don't give me no lip either:

With the new war walkers when they carry two of the same weapon does it NOT count as twin linked?

Reason why I asked is because an article mentioned a squad of war walkers throwing out 24 S6 shots from a full load out of scatter lasers, but I do not want to assume anything.

Indeed, when a War Walker is configured to have two of the same weapon, they are NOT twin-linked. When I first read that, I knew at once I needed to get myself three of those babies to load them up scatter laser goodness.

Indeed 24 shots is nice but I still liked the D6 shots from 3rd ed. I have three of them armed wit ha starcannon and a scatter laser. So they are armed for infantry of all classes

D6 means to roll a 6 sided die to determine a random number, so why would ONE weapon in the 40k universe be D3?! Unless it means something I do not realize.

I do not have the new eldar codex MUCH to my dismay. I need it... at least if I wish to continue playing the game, though I am assuming that the pulse laser on the falcon is still there.

D3.... HUH?

D3 is simple. Roll a D6: 1-2 is 1 shot, 3-4 is 2 shots, 5-6 is 3 shots.

You are mistaken, 2 of the some weapon does count as twin-linked, it says such in the codex.

Edit: I could have sworn that it saidf that, but now I can't find it! eek

Now, I couldn't source my statements at all, but as per my understanding, twin-linked weapons are linked together on a computer system to fire simotantiously (or literally linked together using some other method) for a greater chance of hitting the target/damaging it.

However, just because there are two of the same weapon, that does not mean that they are twin-linked, it's just that's how they are usually found. Think of a Seraphim, who use two bolt pistols, as an example (horrible example, I know). They have two of the same weapon, but they fire indepently from each other, as opposed to a storm bolter, which is pretty much two of the same gun. Horrible examples, but you get the idea?

Yes, I understand fully what twin linked implies to. Firing in tandem or simultaneously, either way warhammer 40k does not aptly cover what twin linked would REALLY do.
Anyhow, besides the point.
Aye I actually DID learn from some people at the GW store that War walkers do not have their weapons linked.
It just so happens that there are very FEW instances on vehicles where their are two fot he same weapon but they are not twin linked. Wraithlord couts weapons as twin linked.

I am guessing, though I could be wrong, that the Imerial Predator Annihilator has only one set of twin linked Lascannons and that the sponson mounted ones are individual rather than twin linked.

warwalkers weaponry isnt twin linked but the the wraithlord, if you choose two of the same heavy weapon it is twin linked. it would suck if the warwalkers were .

I have come to a conclusion.

Farseer with Warlock Entourage mounted on jetbikes would be SWEET.

I was just thinking, imagine considering the formidability of farseer and warlocks in close combat mixed with the speed a +1 to save and toughness that a jetbike gives!

Move 12 inches, Use psychic power + 10 shots from twin linked shuriken catapaults, move another 6 inches regardless of whether you are assaulting or not!

And hell, if you need to get out of somewhere fast. Turbo boost! 24" move that makes all those 3+ saves invulnerable during the next enemy shooting phase.
