Shizuka was originally going to blast the needles with a small burst from her oversoul, but since Hao was there, she quadrupled the size and power and blasted at him. She wasn't going to have her friends commit an 'almost suicide'. She wouldn't let Hao take one of their lives, either. Shizuka wouldn't let anyone die. Not now, when she finally opened her heart again...

*Hao was hit with the blast, but he came up looking unharmed. he glared over at Shizuka*"well well....looks like you have a friend netsubo..."
"thats more than you can say..."*she gkared at him*"get lost!"
*hao*"sorry, but like i said...it's your night to die...i made a deal with some devils..."

Shizuka made her next blast twice as powerful as the one before it. Deals or not, no one was going to die here. She intended on keeping it so.

*this time hao was prepared for her strike. he doddged it and pinned her against a tree*"you seem familiar....."
*netsubo was getting mad. she took out her sword and oersouled..*"HAO! your fight is with me! leave her alone!"
*hao*"oh so you finally grew a backbone..."*he turned to face her*
"shizuka and faust...stay out of this..."

Naosuke came across a clearing. A fight was happening between Netsubo and Shizuka Vs. Hao. he set down Katsuya he got ready for an oversoul quickly. he had the element of surprise he started to creep through the brush toward hao a sneak attack from behind would do nicely

*hao and netsubo stood facing eachother. netsubo was in full attack mode*
*hao*"just die quietly without much blood spill, ok?"
"how bout if i just kill you instead?"
*hao laughed*"sorry but that wont happen"
*netsubo launched an attack at him. she wasn't playing around so she unleashed her ultimit attack, Tsume no Chi (claw of blood). the attack ravaged the ground and trees around and hit hao square on. he hit a nearby tree.*

Naosuke was surprised by the attack Netsubo used. It was strong looking. He got in position to attack. he started charging up his attack. with himself hidden he could charge up his favorite attack, voltage kotako. It used less furyokou than most powerful attacks do due to the charge up time and stuns the opponent for a short period of time. It was almost ready.....

*hao staggered to his feet..he was all cut up, but still able to stand. he spat blood then laughed*"not bad...if i was any weaker you would have killed me..."
"such a shame then...guess i'll have to try again"*she launched into a fury of strikes at Hao*

Manta punched Faust as hard as he could. It didn't do much, but the doctor was so stunned by everything that had transpired that he actually fell over slightly sideways. "What were you thinking?" he mumbled angrily. "Offering to commit suicide alongside Netsubo?"
"There's a reason I asked her to kill me first," Faust said softly.
"Then you didn't actually intend to follow through on killing her." Manta said, sounding a little less angry. "But, you still would have died! That's the biggest thing wrong with you, Faust... you don't care about what happens to you at all! How can you be expected to care for others?" Manta ducked as a beam from the battle whizzed near his head. "I wish we could help Netsubo!" he moaned quietly.

*netsubo stopped for a second when she thought she had hit hao. she was wrong. his spirit caught her around the neck*
*hao*"now....will you die quietly?"
"never!"*she managed to choke out*

Faust stared at Hao's turned back. "Manta, stay!" he hissed, creeping up behind Hao with the still-present syringe.

The attack was charged up he was ready. He had a ball of electricity in his hand about the size of 2 soccer balls.He pounded the energy into the ground. A humongous burst of Lightning charged out of the ground right under Hao's feet. Naosuke burst out of the darkness with his numchcks and landed a savage blow on his head a few times. He quickly turned it into a staff and pounded Hao away
