The stranger had felt the burst of energy,but his attention was elsewhere.As Kaiori slumped over,he caught her and pulled her into his arms.For the moment he didn't worry about what she might think,with him holding her in his lap with his left arm.He wasn't completely lost however,for his right hand drifted to his gun.In case the energy proved to be a threat,he'd at least have Kai safe."Hmm...Take all the rest you need.."

*The energy was now gone. Where it had once been was only Than. What had just happened was anyone's guess. Never the less, Than was trudging back to the house, absent minded*

"Oh,It's fine.I was just hoping I might be a bit more comfortable then the cold ground is all." sweatdrop He smiled warmly,and still held her.Not too tightly,just enough.She could pull away if she wanted,or she could stay,he left it up to her.He was after all quite content to simply guard her and hopefully have her comfortable,at the same time."You do need your rest after all."

*Than was close to the house now, but on a side adjacent to where KB and Kai were. He sighed to himself* nnnn.... what the hell do you want me to do...... even if I do it I'll just fade away.... at least that's what it sounds like. Gah... forget it.... more important things to worry about....*He was ranting to himself*

*kaiori's eyes flicker around her forest, it told her somethingstrange had gone on, she stands slowly and tugs softly at the mans hand* we should get inside something doesn't feel right.. Than ! you should come inside now ! *she calls for her friend as she starts to the door still holding the mans hand*

The man smiled a little as he got to his feet quickly.He followed after her gentle tugging,still holding her hand.It caused him to blush for only a moment,but it was gone.As he followed her,his liquid eyes started to gently swirl.

*kaiori walks in the door and leaves it open for Than, she walks over to a stone which seemed to be part of the wall, she remembers she still has the man's hand and blushes quickly letting him go, she puts a hand on the stone and she glows slightly as her magic flows from her into the stone, the stone was connected to many others which set up her great barrier, she sways slightly but stands tall* that should do it for now ^_^

Nodding to himself he watched as she set up the barrier.It was a way of things he hadn't seen before.Very nature-like,a part of it he had never cared to pursue.He gently held her up as she swayed,to make certain she was indeed fine."You're sure you're alright?You should be taking it easy."

*kaiori smiles* yes I'm fine *she looks at Than* the forest was confused and scared..something strange went on that the animals didn't understand.. I thought it best to stay inside for now...*she blushes* not that I think you guys can't take care of yourselves.. I'm just worried..

"It's alright for you to worry.I'm sure I speak for Than also when I say we appreciate your concern."He nodded to himself and moved away from Kai a bit.Glancing at Than,then away.He tried to keep himself busy in anything,but found it hard to do so.All of a sudden he just felt awkward.

*He blinked* Something scared the forest >>;; I....see.... *He thought it could have been his little encounter..... but didn't really want to talk about that.
