Very true, skipping breakfast won't make you lose weight. It actually makes things worse. Think about it. When you skip breakfast, you eventually get very hungry no? If you skip breakfast, you would probably end up eating a lot more at lunch or supper. If you ate a lot on the evening, you have more chances of gaining weight since you go to sleep directly.
It's best to eat in the morning. Why? Your body needs the energy. So even if you eat a lot for breakfast, it's good. You'll have a lot of energy and you have so much to do during the day and will have time to burn off those calories. Breakfast is the most important meal. 3nodding
But if I eat an apple in the morning... My tummy hurts so much. gonk The same with dairy products... -_-;;

I don't skip breakfast for losing weight... I skip it cuz I wake up late and don't want to miss my bus xD

You end up eating more in the evening which is basically sleeping on a full stomach. (that is a no-no xp ) And what recklessaznx says, thats why I stip breakfast too... I have no time to eat it except maybe for a cup of OJ. stare

Sometimes I don't eat breakfast. Not because I want to lose weight or anything of that sort. Only because I have to got to school early because of my honor society meeting. Mostly I eat something in the morning though. Maybe like 2 oatmeal bars and a glass of milk. It keeps me on until lunch. I don't hungry. Even if I eat very little, it still gives me enough energy to hold onto the day.
I think that the most likely reason some teenagers don't eat breakfast is because they don't have enough time. Since they have to like take a shower, get dressed, style themselves (especially the girls. xP ). Than at night they don't want to go to sleep early because either they think it's childish to sleep early or because they just want to stay up.
Eating breakfast is the most important meal in the day, even though I sometimes don't have enough time I usually grab like an energy bar or a pop tart in school. ( Only 25c so I'm good. ^.^ )

I don't have time for breakfast either. And if I eat breakfast, then I strangely become more hungry.

Random Fact: The colors Red and Yellow (probably more) help make you hungry for some reason. Maybe that's why McDonald's colors are red and yellow... talk2hand

It's an advertising trick used by many restaurant chains in their logos to stimulate appetites. Warm colors tend to promote energy and vibrance, so in this case, it gives the impression of food as something energizing and flavorful. Now on the other hand, blue can be seen as a suppressant to eating, so you don't see a lot of it used (or a lot blue foods if you think about it..)though I'm certain that it can be used to stimulate drinking since its a color that's considered pure, clean, and refreshing.

Actually, skipping breakfast makes you gain weight, because your metabolism for the day is slower, therefore you don't burn as many calories or carbs. *shakes head*
it really is much better to eat breakfast. razz
