 Today was yet another beautiful day and Kaylee was excited to be out and about. It was odd not having Kos next to her, but the two of them did need their space once in a while. Though after the call she had gotten, she was excited to go home to him to let him know that she had gotten a job. Not only that, but she was now the manager of the pet store. Oh! She was just so excited. Nothing could bring her down! Spotting a cafe, the petite female decided that she was going to treat herself. After all, she deserved it! Stepping up to the counter, Kaylee got herself an iced coffee, a peanut butter cookie, and a slice of strawberry shortcake. After paying the cashier, the young woman took a couple steps to the side before glancing around the building. It was a cute little cafe. She would have to show this place to Kos. As she got lost in her own little world, Kaylee's attention was soon drawn to some movement near her. Rina was doing her best to carefully pick up her pastels so they didn't go everywhere on her clothes and skin but to her luck, someone bent down to help her. It feels like she's been in this situation before... "Oh! Thank you so much!" She thanked the woman that was helping her but still tried to pick up most of her stuff before it got on the other lady's skin and clothes, too. Packing her pastels away in their little box and grabbed two napkins for herself and the lady. "You're probably gonna want to wipe that off before you touch anything. Trust me, it gets everywhere," Rina said, handing the other napkin to her. After her hands were clean, she took another bite out of one of her cupcakes, "They do serve some quality stuff here." She spoke half to herself and half to the other woman, still deciding in her head to try and strike up a conversation with her. Well, why not give it a shot? "My name's Rina," The petite girl finally said, introducing herself.

Moonbucks wasn't completely occupied, much to the relief of Benjamin since he just wanted to perform a casual conversation with Oz. Also, with the line that wasn't that long, the half-demon would place out the orders after five or six more people. He gestured the menu close to the ceiling so that Oz would take a look. "Feel free to choose, my friend. Consider this as my treat towards our first meeting," he smiled, having his choice of words being suave as possible, before staring at the TV screen. The usual news again, with anything related to politics, and less of the positive news that came along with the videos that went viral online. Internally, he sighed; politics would be something that many people would avoid if that would be discussed on a constant basis. At least, that would not be included in the upcoming discussion shared between those two over the good stuff from the coffee shop.

Ozwald looked around the coffee shop, his hands tucked in his pockets. The look of it was interesting he hadn't expected an industrial set up, and the smells permeating throughout were welcoming. He looked from the menu then back to Benjamin. "Oh that's a really kind offer, thank you." He gave his own lazy smile back before pondering what he wanted. It didn't take him long to decide and he gazed back to his companion again. "I think I'll get a cappuccino and a slice of cheesecake." he said with a nod.

Benjamin nodded at Oz's order, though his eyes remained glued to the TV screen, only looking away to move the line. Finally, the political debates had ended, though, on a rare occurrence. the owner changed the channel to show everything related to interior design. Now that was more like it, since Benjamin wouldn't mind another interesting subject for a change. The current TV show was about tiny houses, small and compact residences that could be moved around in case the residents wanted to move to another spot. Why he hadn't had seen something like that before in his life? That was when he recalled that he was locked in his old house during his painful childhood. It was only when he was with hid adoptive family and when he moved to Soleil that his world expanded bit by bit.
"Come to think of it, it's your first time looking at those, correct?" he questioned, pertaining to those houses on TV, and then it was his turn to order up the cheesecake slices for two, though Benjamin chose to have hot tea for himself alongside the cappuccino Oz ordered.

Ozwald's eyes had also wandered to the TV. At the sight of the tiny houses, his brows scrunched together. He didn't have much knowledge of interior design or anything of the like, so the concept was foreign to him. He blinked and looked at Benjamin, "Ah yes it is, I must admit I don't quite get the idea behind such tiny homes. It seems like it would be very cramped and claustrophobic. Especially if it's two or more people living in one." he uttered with a grimace. With his height it would be absolutely hell living in such a tiny space. Then again he's lived mostly in apartments his whole life, not having an actual house till he moved to Soleil. So to say he wasn't used to living spaces that weren't that spacious or felt like 'home' would be a lie. He shook off his thoughts and stayed close to his blond companion.

As the desserts and beverages were prepared, Benjamin explained a bit more about the houses, though mostly based on his opinions. "I know it's not suited for claustrophobic people, but at least for those who like to travel outdoors in which adaptability is a must, as long as it's not towards another country hundreds of miles away, then it may not be so bad. In fact, some furniture pieces have to be adjustable to make up for limited space." Benjamin then paid for everything, totaling in $11.25, before carrying the tray, allowing Oz to follow him to a vacant table.
Later, Benjamin was taking small bites of the cheesecake, though he was pondering on what he should ask next. If anything, it was totally random. "Apparently, supernatural races are now a common sight here in this city. Are you one of them? Or just a human?" In fact, Night, who had been in his mind for a long time now since the touch was instilled upon him (though not on sexual terms just yet), may be a supernatural creature, too. But that was one thing that the British male considered as appealing.
