BOOM BOOM BOOMMjoll threw the darts, listening for the pops before turning back to Molan. "Jewel crafting, means much more to a horseman than silly little gems." She said her eyes narrowed, glancing down at the pom he'd won. "Jewelcrafting is our given title because we can put fear into jewels. Jewelry consists of much more than just gems, it includes those silly little metal baubles you wear. I also craft weapons."
She added, "Not to mention I do know how to use them." She'd let it go with tolerance for now, if he wanted. Granted it was going to take at least a sorry for her to stop looking at him like he'd was a little bug. "You still owe - something of an apology." She added as she counted her balloons.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Out of mere curiosity the horseman didn't even bothered to aim properly this time. Instead, she closed her eyes, and let her arm act, as if it was the only natural thing it should be doing. Eisheth recalled one of the War sayings: the best archer is the one who is blind. Might they have been meaning something like this?

BOOM BOOM BOOM So, Heidla came back to shoot more balloons. This simple game was such a waste of time, but as she failed to get the result she wanted, she got almost hooked on it. Last night she was even dreaming about balloons - that she was flying in the sky on her seal, and there were no stars and no clouds as in the human world - instead, the whole blueness of the sky was spotted with pink and black balloons.

He listened idly as she spoke again, tilting his head to one side. Apparently the customs of their kind were far different. To him, jewelcrafting merely meant that. Working with shiny baubles of jewels and setting them in things. However what she described was far more, and held greater variety. Perhaps she had reason to be upset, but lack of knowledge when the horsemen themselves had never been the most forthcoming with it at times in the past was not a sin in itself. There was a reason he wasn't aware of their customs so to speak. Though, both ears fell flat at her choice of words, a grimace crossing his face. "They are not silly. Nor should I be expected to know your customs." She did not know his either, which would likely mean she wouldn't understand why he was so utterly riled up about the comment. His tail was flicking in agitation, and ears were pinned angrily against his head as he watched the woman. Obviously she'd just made a great insult as well.
He stared her down at that point. Not the least bit concerned with the bit of a threat, if you wanted to call it that. She knew how to use a sword, fine, but she definitely wasn't getting an apology. Not after that. In fact she might have been getting an equally dirty look at that point, utter disdain written all over his face. "If I owe one, you owe one all the same. For you're just as guilty of the same insult."

Still, one point was better than negative one for the first go.

BOOM BOOM BOOM In that dream of hers, she wasn't hitting any balloons - she was quite pleased that they were safe and whole again, and it somehow was connected to the idea of good luck and success...so today she was almost sorry to bring them down, but a game is a game - besides, wasn't there a prize to compete for? And she had such a strong competitive spirit...

BOOM BOOM BOOMAnd then something happened between his first and second tries. Maybe something short circuited his brain and made him think he wanted to destroy the heartless balloons instead of the pink ones. Who knew.
The zomboil was a knot of shame at how deftly he derped. Like really. At least he could take a shred of pride at how precise his shots were . . . ?

BOOM BOOM BOOM"Hurts doesn't it?" She asked looking at him sidelong before going back to throwing darts as if she'd never done any insulting of the sort.
"I say silly because I've put them on my yuletide tree before - though perhaps some of them were a little more ordinary." She paused, "How often do you get mistaken for some poor cat's play toy?" Obviously she'd dealt with some sort of feline that enjoyed bells.

He shook his head a bit at her comment. "Annoying is the term." He replied, not the least bit more pleased with the woman. Here she was rationalizing her statement, when he had done the same with no forgiveness given. Thus, he merely gave her a frosty look. "You feel I should take your context to mind, when you never took my own to heart." He added, listening as she spoke again. Eyes never leaving the glare he was giving her.
It seemed the woman getting one of the prizes in his hands kept becoming more pathetically low each moment. Though he didn't bother to reply to the last bit, it was obvious he was annoyed. The fact that he had people batting at his tail, hair, clothes... well that was his business. Not her's. thankfully she probably wouldn't be able to guess it was true based on his silence. Appearance maybe, but not the silence. "If all you have is insults to throw, why would one even think of offering an apology?" Venomous tongues would results in more venomous replies unfortunately, and the pair just seemed intent on arguing more than anything.

BOOM BOOM BOOMMjoll knew she was prodding the sleeping dog so to speak. She threw her last set of darts. "I've stopped throwing insults a while ago deary." She said with a shrug. It wasn't her fault he took the rest of them as insults.
"I'll tell you what." She said after she'd finished her round, leaning against the table the darts was on. "We can start over if you want. Ignore what happened with this whole insulting business and we can start over as business associates - I'll even forget that you insulted me first so no need for an apology - it'll be a truces."
She was drumming her fingers, "I need someone to make something for and you obviously need a few new sets of baubles. If your silence if any indication that you're being attacked by some student thinking your a play toy; then obviously you need a crappy set of bells along with some everyday bells and fancy going out bells." Mjoll's wings twitched, "I can supply all three if you're interested."
She paused and added, "As down payment for one of the sets I can take that pom off you hands."

Molan lifted a brow, thinking she had been trying to insult him. Actually she had, but probably didn't realize it. Then again, most people didn't understand his infatuation. Few people outside of his family or help. So, it was permissible. He'd forgive it at least, since she... wanted a truce of sorts. He could understand tolerance for business partners, he was a reasonable boil afterall. "That is acceptable. Then let it be a profitable association for both sides." He offered, figuring if she could produce quality, he could produce payment as she might require. Though for the time being he was placated, he did flick an ears back down at the word 'crappy.' While some bells were of lesser quality, none fit that description in his head.
Unless covered in less than... pleasant... fecal matter.
But that typically didn't happen. "I will never turn down finer quality pieces, should they be offered." He replied, once again ignoring the comment about needing toys for certain felines. "Though if your words are any indication, you likely have the skill for it." He added, careful not to set her off again. Business partners that they were, he was holding his tongue just a little. Though then she was holding out a hand, obviously still focused on the thing he held. Well, if that was what she wanted, he'd intended to give it away anyhow. "I suppose such can be an exchange." He added, handing over the pom behemoth. The tart seemed... too cute for the woman.LP Will ship over real behemoth when it's presented later. *w*
