Once upon a time, there was a girl named Christina. She went to Catholic school from kindergarden through senior year of highschool. Although by the time she was in high school, she had given up on the religion. Still she was not as wise as she could be. All she knew of homosexuality was that it existed and the narrowminded church didn't like it.
But she was willing to keep her mind open...unfortunately, she had a Very Bad Experience
To continue, she got into public college and discovered a Wonderful Thing. The Internet! *The Internet Is For Porn plays in the background* And yes, she found porn. Thankfully it was all text. So she started to read fan fiction. She searched high and low for stories about her favorite characters. At that time, she was very much into Star Trek: The Next Generation. And she loved the character, Q. After being very bored with Mary Sue/Q fanfic, Christina decided to check out the slash. And it was Not Good. Not Good At All. It was Picard/Q BDSM fics. And they were scary. Very Scary.
Christina looked around but all the slash fics were Very Scary. So she ran far away from slash. Thankfully, things have a way of changing. She began to watch a show. A show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Soon she became a Willow/Spike shipper. But even then, she knew that Angelus had to have been boinking Spike in the past. The UST was just too powerful. So, a one of her favorite authors had written some Angel/Spike slash. She read it and was hooked.
Soon she was watching anime. Fushigi Yugi to be exact. And we all know that the guys were just boinking each other between the scenes. Soon Christina was converted and became a true slash/yaoi fan.
Other: I'm here to make friends because I'm a little shy on approaching people. But once you get to know me, you'll see I'm snarky and entertaining.
