" I mean, I've seen a lot of romance movies and books where someone always has just an apron on. Why? Do you not like it?" He turned halfway - making sure his backside was still visible - and put a hand on his cheek sadly as he gave Lock a tearful stare. This would show him for all those guilt trips he gave him!

It was the perfect payback for all that teasing! Gingerly setting his hands on Lock's chest, Ethan leaned forward a bit and lifted one leg. " What's keeping you?" he asked with a cute wink. " You didn't think I was wearing just this apron for show, did you?"

At least he was able to make it by without telling Lock that the real reason for this costume was because his real one was destroyed. Yeah, he sounded so cool! A blush filled the Texan's cheeks when he was forced against the stiff object. Sheesh, it was already ready to blow! Just how powerful was this apron? Wrapping his arms around Lock's neck, he closed his eyes and returned the kiss. He even parted his lips.

He looked to the clock, wincing at the realization that he'd missed the contest, but it was worth it. He rolled onto his side, reaching out for Ethan and rigging him against his chest. " Ethan, that was outstanding." His praise was accompanied by a kiss to his neck, holding him close.

The real problem was that his wasn't sure he would be able to walk right for a while. " Hehe, thanks. Sorry I kept you from your party, though." he said while rubbing the back of his head apologetically.

No, I'll just wait at your place with you girls. Someone's gotta protect you ladies from serial killers, right? Okay, I'll see you in fifteen minutes!" He hung up, tugging his shirt over his head and buttoning his cardigan. " I'll see you in a few hours, Ethan," he said, bending down to kiss Ethan's head before stepping into his shoes and starting for the door.

๑۩۞۩๑๑۩ﺴ Some shadows have more depth. ﺴ۩๑ A vein pulsed to the side of Ethan's shocked face. " Wha- Hey wait!" But it was too late, Lock was already out the door with a cloud trail behind him. The vein turned into a large drop of sweat that slowly tolled down his head. " How the heck can he still walk?" he mumbled to himself and collapsed onto the bed, arms stretched out. Beer, girls, serial killers. Maybe he should've gone to that party. If he did, would it be to enjoy all those or to keep Lock in check? It didn't matter. Lock may flirt with them, but that was as far as it would go. After everything they went through, Ethan doubted the pop star would try anything. As for him? He exhausted himself far more than he should have, and now it was time to enjoy that nap he deserved!
