"You didn't even want to check out the forests?" Kiah asked curiously, not surprised that he'd been keeping to himself. So far, the short time that she'd been able to explore the wooded area had been the only highlight of her time at the resort, which was pretty sad compared to how much fun everyone else seemed to be having. Walking alongside Kanda seemed to put her at ease, grateful that he was there with her as the sounds of the ocean slowly became more defined.
At his question she paused, head hanging in shame. "I would have... if I could actually swim..." (( Walk away. *serious* ))
"I didn't realize there were forests."
He honestly hadn't paid attention. He stayed on the beach or in his room, and had no idea there were forests nearby. It would be just like Kiah to find out something like that and go straight to them to explore. He smiled a little and looked at her.
"You'll have to take me- You can't swim?"
He stopped in his tracks. He wasn't sure how he had ever found the time to learn with how he had grown up, but he had. If he thought about it hard enough he reasoned that it was a skill every Exorcist should have, because you never know where a mission could take you.
