lolz! XD
I wouldn't be daring enough to place Hetalia answers to a history test. Although I do have Sociology next semester. It's already bad enough that my Figure Drawing teacher looks like an older verison of France has the last name French and he lived in Italy for a good while at one point. So I'll hear him talk about his experience and comparisons with America, North and South Italy, France, and Britain from time to time.

I have been thisclose to putting the hetalia answer on a history test so many times.
This year I'm taking world history. And almost all of the hetalia fans in my grade are in the same class as me. So now we have a class which involves lots of giggling about hetalia references and one very confused history teacher

China :: "That isn't much better... =_= " At least she admits to blaming others... Mostly. xd "Still not much better..."
Armelle :: It is. We're absolutely ridiculous at times. Around the same time we began to cut money from HOPE, which is a scholarship program for residents of Georgia to attend in-state colleges, we state football team was told they were going to be built a brand new, EXPENSIVE stadium because the old one wasn't good enough any more... But we're going to keep the old one. Not sure why.... Oh yeah. We also cut pre-school programs~! d(^_^)b Again, we're number 48 out of 50.... I don't think this plan of ours is really going to help us out. Then again, considering how many students I heard say we were taking "Mexican" instead of "Spanish" in high school, and the fact I found various children books in the library that looked like they had been read more than the actual books for people our age, I wouldn't be horribly surprised if we were number 51.... And this includes that U.S. Territory of Guam. The way I see it, if Guam can be included in the Miss America pageants, then they can be included in the educational system. emotion_facepalm
Random :: That doesn't surprise me. When I hear North Carolina, I sort of picture you guys being a little more used to hurricanes in the summer than snow in the winter. But, yeah, it snowed twice last year as well. Confused the Hell out of us because it used to be only 1/2 and inch every other year. 3 years in a row it's snowed, and one of those years it snowed twice. I kid you not, after one of those times, my family and I were in the car and we saw someone holding a "World will end" sign.... I know it was probably meant for a religious thing, but still. The timing was too perfect. xd And heaven forbid you need milk, bread,or batteries as soon as that first flake hits the ground. Heck, it doesn't touch the ground before people are hauling their whole family into the car so they can all help grab as many of these "essential" supplies as possible. rofl
Cheese :: That is awesome! whee Sadly, I was not introduced to Hetalia until Senior year, and that consisted of a class in Politics and Economics. (Not that it matters. Most of the stuff we learned in Economy really wouldn't help us... And we didn't even spend a day learning stuff like checking and financing....) xp

True we do get hurricanes from time to time. It has been awhile since we had one before Irene. Apparently in the west of NC they get blizzards when the rest get snow. And as of early this year we get Tornadoes too. (it's just really rare) And trust me I know what you mean about the eggs, milk and bread. Whenever any kind of bad weather is predicted they're gone within the next 24 hours.
At the NC state fair, we have some pretty off the wall foods like Fried Ice Cream and fried pickles. But today at the Whirligig Festival was the first time I've heard of Cheesecake on a stick! And I'll you what, I felt like I was in heaven. yum_icecreampie

Francis :: "So, China yelled my name frequently, hmm? Honhonhon~! emotion_awesome "
You're so easily amused, Francis. I really will miss you when I either give you up to someone who wants to play you or when I leave for Basic Training. Whichever comes first.
Haha, we get stuff like that two! Fried twinkies are pretty big at Yellow Daisy Festival. But, hey, anything with cheesecake usually is Heaven... Unless it's sweet potato cheesecake. I swear, my grandma makes so many weird/ wrong things around Thanksgiving time since she's a Yankee trying to be Southern for my mom and I's sake... But, let's be honest. Thanksgiving is a pie holiday. I demand Pumpkin and Pecan pie for Thanksgiving dessert, and sweet potato should only be used if it's in a casserole with brown sugar on top, not marshmellows and cornflakes that went stale 3 months ago. emotion_donotwant

Anyway i'm taken by a Russia at my school, He(she) forced me to become one with him(her) I'm never been to any of the state fairs in Texas, although i've traveled to the other states frequently

Oh yeah fried twinkies. Forgot deep fried Ho Hos and now we have Chocolate covered bacon?
I've heard recently that people will put bacon on brownies but still. emotion_eyebrow
Why would you want cornflakes in sweet potato? We've always had sweet potato with brown sugar and marshmellows. Pumpkin and Pecan pie is a must for us too. I never did understand carrot salad (dice carrots, mayo, and rasins) when I was little and visited my grandparents in Huntersville (right beside Charlotte). We don't make that anymore
There is one southern food Ive never been able to like and everyone else in my family loves it. Grits. Just somethin about the texture.

Well in Texas people don't really care if you like grits, they care more about the barbecue (I'm not kidding at all) and where i live (Right by the gulf) i mainly care about the seafood

My county is nationally known for barbecue in Eastern NC. ( Lexington being the capital of Western Carolina barbecue) We're known for the vinegar based sauce and cooking the whole hog!
