Meiko eagerly looked at the professor as she waited for him to answer her fellow housemate's question.

Professor Kenneth Reynolds
D.A.D.A - Head of Gryffindor - Auror

Kenneth heard the sound of Neomi's voice and her question about what the twins names where. He looked down at Neomi, he had been staring up at the ceiling, and said "The twins names are
Kalec Aili Reynolds and Callaya Anveena Reynolds."

Neomi Wroth...

Neomi smiled. "Those are wonderful names. I like them. Congrats, Professor."

User ImageAmelia took up the information about the vanishing spell. Evanesco. That would help her with spelling and grammar mistakes she made on her paper. She felt her usual excitement at learning something, not only new but early. Still, she wasn't absorbed enough to miss the twins' names. She 'awww'ed like much of the class, but more questions bubbled inside of her, still she kept quiet: Professor Reynolds looked exhausted and had a right to his thoughts in peace. She returned to her book, frowning as it started to not make sense.

Lena

When Professor Reynolds came back to the classroom and told the class they could continue the assignments, Lena got up and returned to the same Death Eater mannequin. She raised her wand and spoke clearly and with much more determination then the last time, concentrating on the spell. Reducto! Lena smiled cheerfully as the statue disintegrated itself and turned into a pile of ashes on the floor where the mannequin had stood seconds ago. She pointed her wand at the pile of ashes. Evanesco! The ashes disappeared, leaving the floor clean. She walked to another mannequin and, again using reducto, caused it too to disintegrate itself and then made its ashes disappear using the vanishing spell. She did this continuously, each time noticing a slight improvement in the spell and noticing it becoming slightly easier to perform.

Liviana ambled into the classroom, a swing in her step that had not been present the last time she entered the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Another thing that had not been present the last time she was in class was the mass of bright blue locks of hair on her head, an effect of her Transfiguration class.

Liviana reached her seat, pulled out her wand, and read the assignment, which had been given a while ago. She realized that it was probably too late to acquire a partner for this lesson, but she still looked about the classroom in the hopes that a fellow upperclassman needed help too.

User ImageHearing the sound of the door opening, Amelia looked up from her book, once more, as it was started to teeter on bad. Closing it around her finger she blinked, staring for a moment. Was that....blue? She could recognize Liviana, but blue? Was it a punishment? Or cheering on Ravenclaw? Amelia looked down, wondering what she would look like with blue hair. Liviana did not look bad; in fact she looked a lot better than Ammy had ever seen her. That was good. Amelia figured she could assume whatever happened at the Ministry ended well, and hoped she could keep her curiosity under control until--if Livi didn't tell her.

Waving slightly to get her attention, Amelia suggested as she'd done for Meiko earlier,
"You can practice on me, as long as you don't tie the ropes too tight." She stood up, losing her place in her book, and walked over to Liviana. "I'm glad you're back." Amelia leaned forward as if to hug her, then realized they weren't really friends yet, were they? Awkwardly she smiled, trying not to blush.

As she glanced awkwardly around the room for a partner, Ammy, the girl who sat on the end of her bed, waved and offered to let Liviana practice the day's lesson on her.

Oddly enough, as Ammy got closer, she opened her arms slightly, as if asking for a hug. Liviana stepped forward and embraced the younger girl, blushing slightly. "Of course, I'll make sure not to tie them too tight," she said, then whispered so only Ammy could hear, "Thank you for looking out for me last week. I promise to be better from now on."

Liviana broke the hug, and moved as if nothing had happened. She sized up Ammy, trying to make good on her promise not to hurt the first year. The prefect held out her sly wand, and reprimanded it in her head. 'Judas, if you do anything funny, so help me I will snap you in half!' The wand seemed to register its owner's seriousness, and sat innocently at attention.

Liviana's azure eyes narrowed in concentration, and she aimed Judas Iscariot the Wand at Ammy's thin alabaster arms. A strong voice from within called 'Incarcerous!' and smoky black snakes of chains winded their way out of the wand's tip, flying like winged snakes. They made contact with the young girl, and writhed around Ammy, binding her arms. Liviana gave a pleased smirk, and asked, "Are you alright there?"

Meiko happily smiled as she slightly clapped her hands after hearing the names of Kenneth and Aludra's children. Then, she gazed at the window on her left blankly, thinking of how will her life be after Hogwarts.

Blushing, she nodded replying in the same soft voice,
"I hope so." She told her curiosity that was enough, especially if that was all Liviana wanted to give. Stepping back as Livi did, a small smile on her face, as she completely trusted she was safe. Still, she couldn't help but twist a little, fighting the sensation of being trapped. She nodded to her question, replying, "It's like they're snakes. I just hafta remember that they aren't." She started tugging herself free, though she knew by experience she'd need help.

After a few minutes of her head flying up in the clouds, Meiko went back to her usual self as she noticed a familiar girl from her house in the room. Meiko hurriedly went beside Liviana and Amelia as she happily said to Liv in glee.
"Liv, how are you? We were so worried about you when..." Meiko lowered her voice as she smiled sheepish at her. "When some kind of flames took you away, as what Amelia had said to me."

User ImageAmelia hid her face with her hair, sheepishly mumbling, "I still don't understand how that works." Still, a smile peeked out, as she recognized the teasing to be lighthearted. It was almost nice to be teased without any malice behind it. It was strange, to be sure, for Amelia couldn't remember a time before she'd gotten Maggie that she hadn't been teased. Even after they disliked her, but the Great Pyrenees was a very big deterrent.

Noting Amelia's discomfort, Liviana quickly said, "Finite Incantatum," and the snake-like coils that bound her arms disappeared into a cloud of dark smoke. "All better," she said simply.

A familiar voice spoke to her from her right, and Liviana turned, and saw a concerned Meiko, asking about her recent disappearance. "Ah, well, I had to take a trip to London. I had some floo powder left in my things I could leave quickly. No harm done!" she exclaimed, if not too enthusiastically. She turned to Ammy. "Floo powder helps to transport people from fireplace to fireplace. It doesn't hurt, and as long as you state your destination clearly, you'll never get lost."

Liviana hoped changing the subject to floo powder traveling might just lead them away from why she had to go in the first place. She was a very private person, and if people began to talk about her trial at the ministry, she would be very embarrassed. Already her cheeks burned a crimson red, which clashed badly with her blue hair.

User ImageTruly sensing and seeing her unease, Amelia merely nodded as she felt the emotion spread throughout her body. Trying to keep her voice as even as Liviana's, she replied, "Cool. Can it work with any hearth?" it was a reasonable question. Brownie points for her. And she knew now she would never pry into what truly happened: her older friend feared people knowing it too much.

Thankful for the change in conversation, Liviana quickly said, "Well, as far as I know you can place some restrictions on certain fireplaces, or have someone watching who is using what fireplace, but other than that you can use any of them really!"

She was lucky to be in the know with someone who knew everything there was to do with floo powder. Liviana's cheeks flushed even more as she thought about Alden's beaming face as he talked about his job.
