The monster, after a quick observation of the kids skills, wanted to see natural reaction to movement and made a quick, albiet controlled attack for the young ninja.
Ryūtsuisen: Zan [ Dragon Hammer Strike: Tragedy ] Simple :: Rank D A brutal variation of the origin, Zan utilizes a sword impalement or plant, rather than a cross body strike. While this vastly increases the lethality of the move on a general basis it does allow for non-lethal takedowns without using the blunt end of the weapon, as a skilled practitioner can target a specific limb or location to assault.
Turning Swallow Cut Complex :: Rank D Utilizing chaka to stimulate the nervous system, this cut is reputedly so quick and precise that it can strike down a bird in mid-flight. It is a downward strike the flicked back up into an upward strike, both strong enough to effortlessly slice through even the hardest wood.
Chakra Scabbard Complex :: Rank D After mastering two techniques, Iaido and any one other, a student is capable of awakening the true signature of the Tetsu no Ryu. A Samurai's blade becomes rife with pure chakra that crackles and dances around the blade. A blade properly focused is quite capable of cutting through even the thickest steel. • Active until battle ends or turned off. • Increases to Rank C after learning [ Form Manipulation. ] • Increases to Rank B after learning [ Two As One. ] • Chakra cost DOES increase as rank increases.

The young samurai would take a small hop backwards, which increased the distance between them to only three feet. Shinsei would find his claim of being "created" slightly odd, but would toss the fact aside nonetheless. "If I require help, I will request it. Such trivial things do not need to be addressed." Millenius would speak of the fact of what learning certain would take his abilities. It was something Shinsei would already know, but had no problem be instructed on the fact. He couldn't but wonder if this session was hindering his progress. Well, it wouldn't matter in the long run. He could delve himself in a rigorous training session whenever another training session came about.
Iaido was already learned, so he had quite a few to go before calling himself ready for battle. A Decade of Peace was his next technique. A suttle defensive technique, it was needed to deflect any oncoming attack with a weapon, Shinsei would pierce the air with his katana in the form of swift stab and raised the sword upward at the of the stab's duration. The stab was performed using his left hand; his left foot would be pivoted as he brought his right hand forward in a quick motion. The strikes forward with excellent force and execution.
Creating more distance between himself and his mentor, Shinsei would engage in the Dragon Hammer Technique. He would need to have a higher angle to execute this attack correctly. He would begin in a crouching stand while holding his katana horizontally with both hands. Shinsei would explode out of this stance in an upwards direction while raising his katana above his head. While descending, Shinsei would bring the katana down with enough force to cause a battle changing injury.
"Those who only act using strength or skill are defeated by those who utilize cunning and deception. Use your scabbard in with your strikes to allow for your ability to catch people off guard. "
Twin Dragon Strike Simple :: Rank D Utilizing Iaido, the student of Tetsu no Ryu then follows up with a strike from his scabbard, utilizing the whole of his weapon, instead of just a single piece. This technique is generally utilized to catch an opponent unaware if they dodge the first stroke of the bladed weapon.
Twin Dragon Strike: Lightning Simple :: Rank D This technique does not rely on the utilization of Iaido, as it first strikes with the scabbard of the weapon, using the shock effect of being attacked with an improvised weapon, or the opening that follows an opponent’s dodge to follow the initial strike up with the actual bladed weapon.

Shinsei wouldn't take a break as he would move immediately from where he left off. The next technique would be an upgrade from his previous one. Instead on just striking through the opponent, this technique utilizes a stronger impact to pierce and implant his blade into his opponent. Shinsei would begin practicing this upon the nearest wall. He would leap upwards in the same manner as before, and bring his katana down with great force. His katana would strike through and lodge itself in the wall.
Turning Swallow Cut. A swift, yet efficient technique. An upward slice brought back downward in one motion; giving the opponent the least amount of time avoid. Shinsei would his katana in front of him with one hand held and inhale deeply. He focused on the motion that had to be done and with through this act over and over again. After the first try, Shinsei wasn't satisfied when the flow of his movement. This wouldn't be tolerated.
He would go about the motion again. And again. And again. The one motion concept was important. Slicing upwards, having a pivotal moment, and coming down again wasn't good enough. Small panting could be heard coming from aspiring samurai. He had to keep focus. Performing the motion one last time, his mentor would only see one, defining motion for that attack.
Shinsei had to bring himself back and focus on the true signature technique of the Tetsu no Ryu: the Chakra Scabbard. With it, Shinsei could funnel his chakra and enhance the overall attacking properties of his weapon. His katana would be held with two hands as he controlled and comcentrated on the flow of his chakra. This his first dealing with such delicate Chakra transition, but he had to get it right.
The chakra would extended towards his hands, palms, and finally, the hilt of his katana. Chakra would exploded from the blade and surround it in the form of a crackling aura. This aura was sharp and intimidating. With it, the finest of steel was at his will of destruction. Shinsei couldn't help but try it at the nearest wall. His sword would flow through the wood as if it was as soft as butter.
His mentor had recently instructed him on utilizing the Scabbard for cunning attack and things similar in that manner. Twin Dragon Strike was a technique for such plans. Beginning with Iaido, Shinsei would close the distance between him and the wall. Iaido was only the initial strike. Immediately after, the cracklings scabbard was ignited and swung following the same path it came from: delivering two strikes in an elegant manner.
The emotionless face spoke again, this time about using the spirit as a weapon yet again.

Pressure Wave Complex :: Rank C When swinging your weapon, you can create a crescent shaped chakra wave, five feet wide by one foot long, that can travel up to about 100ft before dissipating. A hit from it can be as strong or possibly even stronger than a normal blow. Unfortunately- it leaves your katana without a chakra scabbard and you must activate it again. • Max distance: 100ft. • Cannot be reused for a minimum of five [5] posts until Stage Three is mastered. • Can be reused in three [3] posts at Stage Four. • Can be reused in two [2] posts at Stage Five+.

Shinsei would jump into the next technique Twin Dragon Strike: Lightning. A move which would be able to surprise his opponent with his scabbard again. He take a starting step and slash his sword diagonally and then bring it back just as fast. This speed was definitely necessary in order to accomplish this move successfully.
Now it was time to truly master the scabbard and its functions. Shinsei would flow his chakra into his katana again and bring about that cracklings chakra aura. He closed his eyes as his concentration increased.
The chakra the scabbard was made of would begin to move and waver in a slight motion. Shape manipulation of chakra was no easy task but was one Shinseo would tackle head first. The wavering would increase strongly over the next few seconds. The changing shape would attempt to be defined as Shinsei had a shape in mind.
In a strong surge, the chakra would be shaped into a makeshift axe. It extended a little more than a foot from the tip of his blade. With this success, he would be content with his chakra control and move on.
Next was creating a wave of chakra to attack his opponents from afar. Shinsei would choose the wall farthest away as a target point before starting. He would bring his sword across his body and unleash a horizontal slash. From his blade came nothing.
Not necessarily surprised, but he need to be able to launch this chakra that covered his blade. He would look to cut the connection between the chakra and himself to be able to send it from his blade. This had to be done fast. Shinsei would perform and the same motion again and cut the chakra from himself and the sword.
As a result, a pressurized wave of chakra was slung towards the wall. It would crash into it with a powerful force, resulting a break and crash into the wall. He would look to his mentor now with only a question. "Are we finished?"
The emotionless face stayed quite for a moment, seemingly pondering the boys question. Speaking again, the large person demonstrated.

My, he has been training for several, has even instructed several generations of shinobi, learning something knew with each one. He was the mentor of James Poe, our esteemed combat medic. Drying Pole Complex :: Rank C The user extends the tip of their blade with chakra as they thrust. Like a beam of energy, the strike can stretch several extra feet. • Max distance: 8ft.
Hachiware [ Helmet Breaker ] Complex :: Rank B This overhead blow is designed to go THROUGH a person, horse, and armor, all in one blow, by utilizing one’s chakra to actively sharpen the blade of your weapon. However, this fine point chakra manipulation creates crevices in the blade of your weapon, effectively making it useless after the fact, as any parrying blow would cause the rigid workings of the blade to crack entirely. • This technique breaks most normal weapons. • This technique can be blocked by an equal level bukijutsu or broken by Kai. • This technique can only ‘kill’ if the opponent is willing, otherwise it merely wounds/incapacitates if not blocked.
Two As One Complex :: Rank B You are actually able to make two blows at once. A normal sword blow and a chakra saber blow. This second blow is almost impossible to see coming, but can be blocked by a chakra force of the same rank as it disrupts the chakra scabbard’s free movement.

For the Drying Pole technique, Shinsei knew what he would have to do. He would have to focus on what is essential for this technique. Chakra control. Shinsei would flow his chakra into his sword and let it extend thorough towards the peak of the katana. Getting ready, Shinsei took a step and focus. A thrust along with a simultaneous pushing of chakra required him to be diligent in his execution.
As he brought his sword forward, Shinsei would send a push to his chakra and out towards the tip. To his disappointment, the chakra only formed a short burst at the tip of his blade. Hmph. Shinsei would draw his katana back and fire it forward and a thrust once again.
He would do this action repeatedly and the chakra would extend a few inches. At his last move, the chakra would extend thoroughly to eight feet. Feeling accomplished, Shinsei moved on to the next technique.
As this style seemed to be riddled with, this next technique consisted of an over head strike towards his opponent. However, the difference with this one is that it was more lethal than the previous ones. Shinsei would be take a deep breath and hold his sword with hand. As the split of a second,
Shinsei headed off in the forward direction at his top speed. His aiming point? The opposite wall. He leaped onto the air when he was no more than five feet away and brought his katana with a mighty force. His results weren't as pleasing as he would like.
A narrow slice I'm the wood work came about from his actions and he couldn't believe what he had saw. How can the scabbard produce such a narrow strike? Impossible.
However, Shinsei found the fault in his technique rather the katana cutting ability. He would go through the motion once again, and change a few things: his grip,the force of he brought down, and most importantly, his purpose.
He wanted to strike as if he was going to cut through his opponent. A more stern look crossed the samurai's face as he retraced his steps and started up again. This time, the wall received a large, powerful gash.
The two as one was fairly different. It was indeed a testament to his new found skills after his training. Bring his katana to his face in a horizontal position. Two as one. Two strikes in the span of one. Fluid movements flushed with precision, speed and accuracy.
Something only a samurai could be proficient at. He had already has his moves planned out in mind. Horizontal and them return with a diagonal. Easy, and surprising to his opponent.
Shinsei would bring the sword in its horizontal motion quickly and attempt to change directions in a I'm practically the same the moment. It was indeed difficult, but after learning the Turning Swallow Cut, he should have the process nailed down significantly.
Doing the same process again,Shinsei could feel the error in his ways. After the second time, he needed to shave .31 seconds. And after that, .25. He had come to this level of recognition with his skills and didnt mind being proud of it.
He had finally come to the moment where he struck twice in one moment. He sheathed his katana and waited for a response from his mentor.

Knives walked into the Dojo and noticed Millenius training a new student it seems. One of the genin. He decided he would let the golem train the genin. For the time being he was as good a teacher than any. Knives looked over the items he had received from takumi. Looks like he was going to learn yet another style. Perhaps he should have gone to the shopping center to get another weapon to work with this style. Well they had the training weapons so hopefully he could just practice with those and learn. Hopefully then he could buy another weapon.

Knives went to borrow one of the great blades that was on the wall of the dojo. It wasn't as big as he head hoped, but it was big enough for the purposes of the jutsu. The first few moves were pretty basic. He took the sword and practiced swinging it over his shoulder to smash into the ground. The blade he was looking to use was much bigger but the move was the same. He practiced that smash for a bit before pivoting on his foot to swing the blade from the ground position. It was a bit weird with this new weapon but not for long. Knives picked up quick and from dragging to swinging with the pivot was relatively quick.
(Stage one learned)
Knives picked up the blade and brought it to his stomach before lunging forward stabbing into a dummy. The move was rather easy, a lot easier compared to the things he had to learn with Jing Sing Jie Fang. He felt a little off balance so he figured that he would try again. He knew he had so much to do but without San around there wasn't much he could do with the spiritual stuff right now. He lunged forward again and stabbed into a dummy and felt confident he could hold such a large weapon.
The next move was a bit more complex than just swing and stab. This technique did require a slam into the ground but it also took chakra. However, it wasn't such a huge area. He took his sword and sent his chakra down the blade and cause a blast that would knock most opponents off balance. He practiced slamming both in front and to the other directions beside him. It was important he be able to slam in more than just one direction. What good is that? He practiced until it was quite simple to him to slam his blade down to cause a chakra wave.
(Stage Two learned)
Knives hefted his sword already covered in sweat from only a few moments of training. Seems he had been out of work for quite a long time. But it was good to learn how to swing a different style blade. He took his blade against the ground and hefted it upwards quick as he could. He didn't like how open he was with his first try so Knives reset his stance and tried once again to figure out how to make this move without completely getting open. He took his time to make sure his swift pull upwards didn't leave as big a window to attack with. After a second and third try he was feeling pretty comfortable with his moves. The opening was minimal and easy enough to take care of for Knives's skill level.
The next move in the jutsu series was more slightly one handed. He took his borrowed blade and rested it upon his arm. Most of the weight was in his arm and he took the side step to quickly to attack at the dummy that he was going up against. His quick movement was hard to get down based upon just learning how to make the move. He practiced again. The movement was a big difficult but he tried to figure out how to master the attack movement. It was odd with such a large blade, but Knives was a large man. He took his time to move quickly and keep a very small area of countering when he finished his attack. After he felt he had mastered it he moved on to the next move with chakra move.
The next move was very similar to other moves he already had with using chakra through the blade. With the blade as a medium he took the time to make it flow through the blade before swinging and causing it to fling off in the direction of his swing. It was no vortex like his other attack but a pure chakra attack wave was still no joke. He practiced with causing the chakra to flow with not only an empty swing but also with a stabbing motion. He noticed the distances were slightly different for the two. It made sense but he decided to practice with each one just to make sure. He was glad for his strength increases for otherwise this sword would be extremely difficult to wield. He took the time to ponder while he practiced. He wondered if maybe he could ever use a blade with one hand. Perhaps it was possible, but most likely he would be much slower than with two hands. He took the time to use more chakra with the stab motion and launched the wave at a dummy about 12 yards away. A fine distance for just a simple technique as this. Well simple compared to some of the other techniques he knew.

A san clone entered the dojo, seeking the teacher he knew would undoubtedly be here. Seeing the jinchukiiri, San gave a smile and approached.
"You! Knives...I need you to teach me some more taijutsu. How you move is rather impressive...."

Knives ignored the San for the moment. He wished to finish up a few more techniques as he took his large blade and continued to train. He took his chakra and focused it into his lower half. The blade was already light enough with all the techniques he knew from other styles that had helped to build him up. But even more never hurt right? 'You know you're wasting your time' So much of your time. 'Oh will you shut up already? All you do is nag nag nag, you're worst than my mother.'
Knives moved about quickly with the large blade while he was able to focus his chakra into his lower body. The technique didn't allow for a lot of long distance movement but it did allow for him to move over a short distance. It definitely helped to make his blade a lot lighter. He practiced some more until the chakra control was really simple to move with and worked on using the same kind of control, or at least a similar control as he moved quickly performing a jump with the technique. Also perhaps a bit of help from his other techniques he knew. While in the air he adjusted himself so his blade was coming straight at a dummy. Though the thought did come across his mind to go after the San clone. But as much as he liked messing around, he was gonna need San for later to help him train with the turtle sage stick he had against the wall later. Landing with a hard crash into the dummy Knives focused his chakra to move quickly once more with his much lighter blade moved quickly.
When the weight began to grow heavy he would kick up hard and into the air. He chuckled to himself as he smashed through another dummy and attempted the combo once again. This time he was running opposite direction of San. He however kicked to go backwards and rotate to down towards San. However, a ninja of his skill should have noticed the trajectory was off just slightly that Knives was going to land right in front of him. However that didn't take away that a big man such as Knives was coming down after San the Sannin and several of the academy students gasped in either awe or horror, perhaps both.

Knives just gave a cheeky grin after he landed about foot from San's original position with blade deep in the dirt. "Oh come on now, you should have known I was going to hit you." He pulled the blade out without much effort and checked the edge noting it was still sharp, well sharp for an academy blade.
"So what did you need to train this time?" He asked looking through a book for the next techniques in this jutsu style.

San offered some insight into his inquiry, then shuffled his way a little closer. If their was a CQC man in the village, it was Knives.
"The Kicking style of Ressuuken? I had heard that you had indeed learned it. I figured i could use something to train my body and condition myself for up close battles. I figured a mix of hard a** kicks with infinite iron sand would be crazy effective"
