Vidar smiled at her, "You know... He doesn't remember watching me kill the people that killed his parents... The way he remembers it, His mother gave up her life to save him, and then the next thing he remembers, I was carrying him through the forest, to his new home. I could have sent him to his other grandfather... But I didn't trust that human."

Vidar sighed, rubbing the back of his head, "Don't know, I'm kind of happy he doesn't remember it. He doesn't have any want to hunt down those men, no desire to search them out and kill them. I'm glade he doesn't have any memory of such a traumatic event. I'm happy it doesn't hang over his head." He paused and looked back over at her, honestly questioning her, "How do you think he would be if he remembered?"

Vidar smiled, "What if remembering that set him back? Memory loss sometimes comes back and what ever memories occurred between loss of the memories and regaining it can just be lost."
"Mmmm..." Mit groaned, and rolled slightly, trying to curl around Violet.
