{Kyle : LoD : Tea House}
Ah. Right. The 'interactive chronicles'. Well, I knew the name was familiar. Final Fantasy 11. Never did get into that one. That whole, online thing never really got to me. Kyle mused, nodding his head in thanks to Kyla, whether she had seen it or not. He also didn't notice that she had left the Tea Shop soon after, not paying much attention to anything, just kind of fading off. A particularly bad habit of his. No matter where he was, he could just stop paying attention to anything going on around him, just thinking. Thinking about everything and anything. It usually happened when he was tired. And was he ever tired. S*** had hit the fan so many times today that the fan was hardly working. Still, he did have one thing he wanted to do.
Still, in the end he had managed to catch onto the last of what Kichi said. Something about leaving. Yeah. That would be good. The Tea House was getting kind of boring. And his tea was gone. Looking remorsefully down at his, now empty, tea cup, he put it down and looked up at Kichi. "...It's Kichi, correct?" He asked, unsure if he was addressing the correct person. He was pretty sure he was. The only other ones he knew were John, Amy, and Alan. But then the other two were Nicholas and Maggie. So that left the one still sitting as Kichi. "I'm not quite sure how to ask this honestly. But, when we get back to...wherever we have to go, would you mind sparring with me? I just feel a bit powerless right now. I feel like training would do me some good. And, as a healthy side effect, it should take my mind off of things." He finished in a smile. Oh how he hoped that Kichi would except his offer. He really needed to get his mind off of all of this. For the time being at least. He could think about it later.

{James : Train : Dining Car}
James yet again had fallen back into his own thoughts and was only interrupted by Sora's sudden belch, he chuckled lightly, glad that at least the keyblade wielder had proper manners. It brought him back to this plane though which was a good thing. He had finished his pizza awhile ago and had just pretty much tuned everyone else out as he stared out the window at the moon. He looked back around the room as Kyle announced he was going to bed and Jenny said she was going to take a shower.
"Alright, good night."
He said to both Kyle and Jenny, since he assumed after her shower she would be going to bed as well. Her smile at him was a bit goofy but he had seen others that were even more so and he returned it with small smile. It didn't seem that late but that was always the problem when traveling from place to place. He would lose perspective of time. Right now all he could tell was that it was night... nothing more. It was probably about the time that he would go to sleep if he had work at four in the morning the next day but he really couldn't tell. Though his body was telling him as much.
'Haven't gotten off that sleep cycle just yet it seems...'
With a bit of work the corsair managed to get up, requiring that he squeeze past Jack who had sat next to him and stretched and then threw away his plate.
"Good night guys."
He said as he then made his way into the sleeping car and settled into one of the empty rooms and laid down on one of the beds. The coat, hat, and gloves of his dress sphere automatically removed, lightening the attire so that he might be able to sleep... once his mind settled down, if it settled down...
{Leon : Land of Dragons : Fireworks Yard}
Leon stared intently at Cloud, not even flinching as the final swing of the Cross Strike stopped not more then inches away from hitting him and lowered his blade. His response though did nothing but confuse the gunblader as Cloud turned and walked away.
"What do you mean Cloud!? Are you just going to leave these kids? They need our help... and we need their help."

[Kichi :: LoD :: Tea Shop -> Imperial City Streets]
Kichi looked at the one who addressed him. Kichi thought he remembered him introducing himself as Kyle...but he could easily be wrong. He smiled anyways. "Kyle...right?" He nodded. "Well, sure! If a spar would help you out, I'd say let's go! But you're correct in that we should wait ti'll we're in a more suitable location." He looked at Seymour. "Very well, you may accompany us...but I would like to request that if you have your own method of getting there, you use that. I want to be...100% sure that you are here to help, or at least as close as possible, before I invite you onto our ship. No offense meant, I hope you understand."
'A wise descision Kichi.' Bahamuts voice echoed through his head. 'As helpful as he seems...someone so powerful should not be trusted right away.' Kichi gave a mumbled 'Indeed'
Turning to the rest of the group, Kichi said loudly. "We're heading out. I feel that sitting still isn't helping any of us, and that some good movement, and being in a more comfortable location is a good idea. So, we're heading out!" He smiled warmly at the group. "Comon!"
However, while his face was reassuring, he was fighting to remain calm underneath. He had now been 4 days without his bipolar medication, and with no way to get it, other than to get earth back, as far as he could tell, the raging storm of emotions was just something he would have to handle and deal with himself. He fiddled with the one-day medication case in his pocket, as he thought about things while walking to the door. He got outside, and looked back and forth for Kyla, who he had noted walked out earlier. He noticed her off to the right. "Kyla! We're heading out, you coming with?" He took his hand from his pocket, stopping his fiddling with the pillcase, and waved to her.

[Seymour : Forbidden City]
"That's quite some gratitude," Seymour mused, raising an eyebrow at the tonfa-wielder as he ran out after the pictomancer. His tone didn't seem annoyed in the slightest; rather, he seemed more humorous, as if a young child had just tried to put on an adult's pair of pants. Though Jon had gone outside, he was still within earshot when the Maester decided to speak. "However, I've no means of following you except to travel via teleportation, and I must know where I'm reappearing for such a method to work. As I've never been to, or even heard of, Hawaii, such travel is not available."
Strolling out of the tea shop and standing beside Jon, Seymour glanced around, as if looking for someone. His lips seemed to tighten together, curling into a look of mild confusion, before the look vanished mere moments later into his usual nonchalance.
"I take it you're the leader of your fellow companions from Earth?" he asked Jon, a look of curious interest on his face, though his tone only revealed a hint of such; it seemed more matter-of-fact than anything. "Quite the role; admirable. They must look up to you."

[Kichi :: LoD :: Imperial City Streets]
Kichi looked at Seymour as he walked back up to him. "Ah, as I said. No offense meant, it' just...we've seen your role in the Interactive Chronicles, and considering then you started out in a very similar manner, I have a hard time thinking the story was wrong, or that you've changed since then." His tone then lightened a good deal as he went on. "But as I said....should you prove to us that you at least have no intention of harming us or our cause...well then, I would be happy to have you on the team. A powerful ally would be good. And either way, with your travel ability, I guess I'll put it up to group decision, but you very well may end up coming with us."
Then the leader comment. "I seem to have become that." He shrugged. "I do what I need to. I'd certainly hope I'm...good enough to be looked up to, but I wouldn't know that myself. Personally, I have my share of faults, flaws, and problems...but who doesn't? Either way. If I can be a part of...bringing my friends and my world back, and putting us all back where we belong...then I am satisfied."
All of a sudden, images of people...his grandfather...his parents...his friends, all flashed through his mind. He tried to shove them away, after all, he already knew he was fighting for them as much as his new friends, and the more he let his losses hold him back, the less likely success would become. He shook his head thoroughly, clearing the thoughts.

[Kyla: Forbidden City]
Standing outside the Tea shop, the pictomancer looked around anxiously a little, wondering where the missing team of warriors from Disney Palace had gone? Leon, Cloud, Demyx, and Axel were still not here, and last time she looked, they were not all headed back to the ship.
Just before the urge to search for them became unbearable, Kichi's voice range out over the sounds of the Oriental populas and Kyla would turn to see him leading the group of earthings inside out the door. As well as Seymour.
"I would-" she began, " but I'm worried, have you seen where the others went? Leon, Axel, Demyx and Cloud, they're all not here." Kyla replied closing the distance.
She said nothing in regards to Seymours comment about Leadership. Truth be told, she wasn't sure about it.. not that she had any doubts in Kichi's ability to take charge, no- but she was concerned that just shoving this duty on him by proxy wasn't a very fair method to him.
Kyla had thought about trying to help lead when they parted ways, but almost immediatly she dashed the thought- she could never be a leader. No one ever listened to her. At least that's how she felt. Besides, Kyla knew she lacked courage and confidence, vital things all leaders needed. But also... somehow... the responsability, she didn't feel she was worthy to look after anyone, not anymore.
Kichi did seem to fit the bill of a leader, but was it really ok to force him into it?
Kyla's thoughts contemplated Kyle... how the weight of leadership had changed him... And the last time he spoke to her.
Would similar things begin to happen to Kichi as well? If so, was there anything she could do to protect him? Kyla leaned in towards Kichi's face, exmaining his strained expression, coincidentally when he was shaking his head, and thats what made up the girls mind. Lessen the load- find the others! Make yourself useful for cripe-sake!
Concern drove the artist to search for the missing elements of the situation, namely this time- their missing members.
"I need to go find the others... it doesn't feel right that they're not here." Already Kyla started walking into the crowd.
~ Aibou! Are yous ure it's wise?~ " Don't pretend you don't agree, they all can't be on patrol? Why all 4 of them?"
~ they could be on the Red Rose in place of those who came back from it.
Kyla knew Carbuncle had a point, but she still felt unsettled. They should ahve said something- left a message at least. But no- they just buggered off! But where could she find them? ....
.... .... Why's a crowd over there? Kyla hadn't realized how far she walked, but the semicircle of gathered chinese citizens was too large to ignore. Any guesses this would be a good lead?

[Kichi :: LoD :: Imperial City Streets]
"They'll find us. They know where we're-" but Kyla was already heading off. "Wait! It's fi-" And she was already gone into the crowd.
Honestly...that was about the worst thing she could have done to ease his mind. Now, without knowing about her sense of direction, and her not knowing even where to look, he had to choose between going back with the group to their ship...or chase after Kyla to make sure she didn't get lost. "Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap..." he muttered so quietly only he could hear, as he debated.
He then decided. He retraced the mental map he had been told by the man earlier, before finally asking "Can someone lead the rest of the group to the ship? I gotta make sure Kyla doesn't get lost or in trouble." He looked around at the group, desperately hoping a volunteer would pop up, who at least claimed a good sense of direction, not that it would be too hard, considering the city gate was somewhat visible from here.

[Axel: Firework Yard]
Ok, he didn't need a heart to know this was pretty bad now! They were on the verge of loosing one of theirace fighters! Axel couldn't let that happen.
Why? It's not like he cared- but logically... oh boy- now he's starting to sound like Zexion in his head! That can't be good.
"Yah- common man! There's no reason to jump ship!" Axel pushed passed them and now stood infront of the emotional spikey blondy with his hands out in a haulting gesture.
"Leon's right- they need you. You're way stronger then me, and let's face it.. inspite of your obvious issues, you're more trust worthy then me." He paused.
" If anyone is leaving, it's going to be me."
He looked over Cloud's shoulder to Leon, meeting the gunbladers eyes. If the seasoned guy was as perceptive as people claimed, hopefully he'd not interupt this. Hopefully he'd get the hint.
" Cloud common- don't be difficult. I'll let this slide, everyone has a bad day- you're the guy for the job! So stay ok?"
By then, a sizable crowd had gathered around this little drama scene, of the curious and confused. He could feel their many eyes, whispering amoungst themselves.
He had to get this settled before the gaurds were summoned or something- it wouldnt' bode well if they were arrested for desturbing the peace right after being told- not too kindly, to leave China! If they were caught like this...
" Cloud, seriously. No hard feleings man- and you can COUNT on that truth with me. You and Leon work better together, he doesn't hold this against you. It doesn't take a genuis to see the kids will be safer if it was a choice between us."
Axel would then start backing up, and with every step he took, ebbing waves of darkness pooled around his feet. "...I don't care what happens. I can't. But you can- so keep the kiddies safe for us ok? A better gaurdian, is the one who cares about what they're protecting." With that, the nobody salluted, the shadows engulfed him, and he was gone.

[Alan :: Teahouse :: LoD]
As Alan overheard Jon's conversation with Seymour, he visibly tensed up. Wasn't Jon just lecturing him about propriety? And now it was 'Oh sorry, I can't let you on my ship because you're a villain'. There went any possibility that the group might fool Seymour into thinking that he'd fooled them. On top of that, Alan was pretty sure Jon was making a strategic error. Whatever Seymour's designs were, they probably did not involve smothering the earthlings in their sleep, considering how committed he seemed to preserving their lives, and if he was on their ship he couldn't be engaging in villainy elsewhere. The group could monitor his movements. He exhaled sharply and took his hand off John's shoulder. "Um," he said, "hang on, I gotta do something about this."
By the time he got outside, though, the subject had changed to Kyla running off. Alan sighed inaudibly and ran one hand through his hair. This was an utter headache.
Alan had no desire to volunteer to lead the group to a ship he'd never seen before, so didn't say anything.

[Kai: The Flying Dutchmen- above deck]
It was nearly done...
... she had isolated a most importal and vital memory. Such a burden she would weave back into existance. Her original wouldn't see it coming before it was too late.
It was important to make sure every detail was perfect- no mistakes. He would be a masterpeice, or be NOTHING! Kai refused to make anything that was useless. She would put her best work foreward the first time! Flawlessness, she demanded it. It would be the red line that seperated them.
"..you will sink the dagger deeper, and I shall twist it." she muttered to herself as he pen glided across the page with a fervent yet dedicated pace.
Big sorrowful eyes. Curly locks of ebony. Pales skin with a battered neglected touch. A few scrapes here and there.. make his appearance tortured and lonesome. Kindle the kind in spirit to aid and protect him. Any bleeding heart wouldn't be able to resist when she was done.

[[Riku : LoD : Imperial City]]
Riku listened to everything going on, but was not impressed by any of the earthlings. They were all acting inconsistently and erratically, especially Kyla and Kichi who he finally spoke in order to reprimand sharply, yet kindly, "We'll need no such thing. We'll stick together. There's just as much possibility YOU'D get lost or in trouble so once everyone is ready, we'll head after Kyla all together."
Finally Riku turned back to everyone still in the Teahouse entryway, "Alright! Everyone, let's head out! Stick close, and don't let anyone wander off! We don't need to be losing anyone in these crowds!"
[[Louis : Train : Dining Car]]
Louis was slightly apathetic for the most part, that was, until it looked as though she would start crying. Louis extended a hand and put it on her shoulder hesitantly, "H-Hey... it's alright. No one is blaming you for anything. No one expects you to know everything either. After all, I think that's what everyone here is working to find out, trying to figure out just what all this is about. I'm in the same boat you are, as is everyone else. There's nothing to get upset over..."
Louis was nervous, looking around at those left in the dining car, which weren't many at this point. He worried they might get the wrong idea, and think he said something to upset her, which as far as he could tell, he hadn't anything that would.

[Dawn : Dining Car]
Dawn lowered her arm off of her eyes, her eyes looking over at Louis. Her eyes were dry, free of any trace of tears. Her blue eyes did hold sadness in them, but they looked more tired and defeated than anything.
Dawn's eyes never left Louis's face as he spoke, but let her arm down when he was finished, not bothering to put her glasses back on. It wasn't long before she was staring at the slice of pizza that was still on her plate, that she had yet to touch. She could hardly feel her hunger anymore.
"I guess," she said finally with a sigh, looking back at Louis for a moment before looking down at her lap, "I am probably over thinking things..."
~'And being too hard on yourself...'~
She shock her head at Garuda's comment before she continued, "I am probably just tired..." she pushed her plate in the direction of Sora, in case he wanted it, "I'll be glad to sleep in a bed..."
Dawn slowly started to get up out of the booth. She started to walk off in the direction of the sleeping car, before she paused a moment.
"Night. And thanks Louis."
With those words she went into the sleeping car. She found one of the rooms a couple of doors away from the girl's showers. She opened the door, she didn't know if the room was taken yet or not, she just closed the door behind her before laying on one of the beds, one by the window. She covered herself up and let her eyelids fall.
She was too tired to even notice as she went started to rest, her outfit changed into a long white sleeveless nightgown that went just below her knees.

[Kyla: LoD: Imperial City > Fireworks Yard]

It wasn't too long a walk, or a real challenge to find them after all. Kyla simply had to follow the crowds of curious people. standing up on her tippy toes, she could see the 4 men who were drawign such attention to themselves. There were crates of fireworks all around, and she arrived in time to see the red head stepp back into darkness and disappear.
"Axel?!"
' Where did he go?! '
People were suddenly afraid at the sight fo this, and were suddenly dispersing. Not that she could blame them- it wasn't normal looking to see anyone do that disappearing act.
Which left only 2 men and one nobody left.
Kyla waved to them, " Leon, Cloud, Demyx! What's going on?!" she called over the crowd, before enough people moved and she could come to them.

[Cloud : LoD : Fireworks Yard]
Whatever Cloud's personal thoughts on the Earth Children, he kept them to himself. Leon's words seemed not to reach him as he walked away. His search for light had always been a lonely one, though never selfish in nature. He left so he wouldn't hurt people. He had attacked Leon. . .
It was time to go.
And then Axel was in front of him, blocking his exit. Cloud's glare could have cut through steel. Axel seemed not to notice, or, rather, seemed unable to care. He was in the midst of a 'hold on there one second' speech. Cloud didn't mean to mean him harm. He didn't care so much about Nobodies and their trustworthiness at the moment, and when Axel brought that up he wanted to shout out it was Axel himself he considered a perverse abomination, and not his 'Nobody' status. . . and just thinking that way made him sick. Sure, he disliked Axel because he brought up bad memories; he disliked himself even more for being puerile about it. He loathed himself for not having the strength to change and simply accept the Nobody.
And then he was leaving. Cloud's eyes followed him until he disappeared entirely into the blackness– he made no move to stop him.
"Leon, Cloud, Demyx! What's going on?!"
Cloud turned at the sound of the voice. It was Kyla. He recognized her from the group. Demyx? Oh. He was here. Cloud hadn't noticed.
