Alex hugged back, "If I say no, would you go telling Tao or Marcie that I left?" she asked, "Of course I'm not saying I'm going to, I just want to know." she said, I'm going to stay...., she thought with a smile.

Matt broke the hug, "Of course I wouldn't, alex. Is that who you take me for? A backstabber?" he asked.

Alex shook her head, "No, I take you as a friend who doesn't want to lose a friend so you would tell someone knowing they could stop the friend." she said, happy now that she could walk out of the house without being caught by Tao or Marcie, or worst, Ace.

Marcie placed the treats in front of Ace "What girl?" Marcie asked making an inocent face, the fact that anyone in wonderland was supposed to be crazzy just made this the more easy.

Matt gave Alex the ring. "Put it on your pinkie. It's a bit small, but it should fit..." he said.

Alex looked at the ring, "Thank you...." she said as turned around walking out of the room, the ring still in her hand, "I'm going for a walk." she said as she walked outside.

Matt walked back in and retrieved his tea. He drank very inconspicuously. He looked up at ace. His headache was slightly worse, but he relished the fact that he'd finally done something help alex.

"Oh, my apologies, Miss," Ace said, maintaining his smile. He picked up a piece of toast, smothering it in so much jam that it began to drip. "I have been sent by the Red Queen to retrieve an infiltrator. A teenage girl has somehow gotten into Wonderland and I must retrieve her alive." He held his folded toast in a napkin, hoping to not get jam on his coat.
"Fear not, we may be the Red Queen's 'soldiers'," he said, pouring enough sugar in his tea to make it look like wet sand. "But we Spades chose to resort to violence when necessary. It's the Hearts and Diamonds you'd have to worry about. I suppose the redness of blood has maddened them."

Alex ran around looking for the looking glass, Where is it?!, she was scared that if she stayed she would hurt someone, Home....home....., tears were now pouring down her cheeks.

Marcie chuckled a little, was it not unusual for the red queen to make moves? moreover was the red queen not in a deep slumber in the land of looking glass? and she could not picture Maria wanting to capture Alex at all, this definitely prickled her curiosity "Might I ask the name of your queen? if it is not too rude of me to ask?" Marcie said taking a seat next to Ace on the coach and offering a honey sweet smile.
((Not my fault >.>; just run behind her or something! your Cheshire for god's sake!!))

Alex found the looking glass finally, Okay....I'm going to have to jump through and get home......No one will come after me then...., she took a deep breath.

Marcie Shot him a death glare, couldn't he see she was busy? "Why, Matty, Dear, shouldn't you start making yourself food since you are going to live on your own?" she was not going to stop him from living alone but she was not going to cook and clean for 2 houses! he better have that well clear before he leaved, never mind the fact he had hangover, the drink she gave him should take effect in some 10 min and then all the symptoms should be gone, the fact that he had a appetite was proof he was feeling better already.

Tao had let Matt take Alex, but went invisible because we all know him, and listened to their conversation. He found one sentence, in particular, interesting.
Though when Alex ran off he couldn't help but follow. He saw where she was headed and his eyes grew wide with worry. When she reached her destination, that was when he became visible and appeared behind the girl. He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his face into her neck. "You didn't even try to say goodbye.",he mumbled, tightening his hold on her waist, pulling her close to him and away from the looking glass.
